I myself am sang if anything, although sometimes I doubt myself.

One of my best friends is a psi. She said she saw psi vamp traits in me, but I'm actually just a faerie. xd (or faekin, if you prefer)

I used to think of myself as a vampire, I still feel I have some characteristics that is seen in the real modern style vampires or what is considered vampires but I don't admit to being one. I try not to draw attention to myself in those areas because I think its quite a stupid thing to do, just like I feel drawing attention to your nationality is also a stupid thing to do. I am not a psi though, I forget the name in which I'd be classified as, its been three years since I even thought of it. I'd rather not call myself a vampire or be called one. Vampires are story book creatures, I am not.

But I would like to note that it's accepted within the community that we are not vampires in the sense of stories and legends. It's just a fun term we put on a very real condition.

Vampires are real, just not the ones in Hollywood. Vampirism is considered a medical condition, not "the undead that are going to suck your blood." Although, sang vampires do need the blood to function properly.

Sanguinarius.org is your best bet. It's linked in the vamp directory.
It has a lot of helpful information, I highly recommend it, especially if you're unsure

I found a lot of that site to be full of bs. However, it was slightly helpful.
I guess I'd be more of a sang, but I really feed off energy a lot, but I don't need blood and I don't need peoples energy. I can survive off my own energy. But going by that Sanguinarius site I'm more of a sang.
I still hate refering to myself as a "vampire" though. I feel quite childish and dumb. I should come up with an alternative name.

Just curious, how can you tell if you are one? And what is your definition of a psionic or psychic vampire? I've read conflicting things and I would really like to know. I've met people I considered socially 'draining' to be around, but I'm not sure that that counts as psychic vampirism based on what I've read.
