Feana was bored. That much was obvious by how she was on the outskirts of the pride, bordering on the boarder for the Pridelands. It was a dry, cool day with a bit of light wind, which ruffled her hair and tail tufts as she walked along. She'd pranked all her siblings already today, and her dad was off doing who knows what. But her mother.. was gone with some of her siblings. She planned on following her one day; wanting to go visit her. Of course, the pink and gray adolescent knew what her mother was like; kind and firm. Always balanced and level headed, it seemed.
Not like this female at all. She was quick to annoy and easy to offend. It was just the way she was. Jumping up on a tree trunk, she climbed it and found her a place to rest in the shade. It was getting hotter and hotter lately. Which, usually, wouldn't have been a bad thing, but she wanted the coolness to stick around a bit longer. "Ah, well, whatever," she muttered to herself, pawing at her face and licking her nose.
Maybe someone would cross her path. She'd kill for some kind of companionship, or just to trick them. Pounce on them, play with them. Feana was still playful; not quite an adult yet. Either way, she huffed and let one paw hang off before she yawned widely, noisily.

Kenya wandered around. This name quest was tougher than he thought. But it did give him an excuse to travel. He loved wandering. Feeling the grass underneath his paws, the warm sun on his fur... He never got any of that in the swamps.
The morning was cool and Kenya couldn't see anyone around. He glanced around one more time to see if anyone was around before he broke out in a loping run. He laughed as he ran, loving the feel of the wind run through his mane. He missed home, but nothing could beat this.

A flash of white caught her sky blue eyes and she arched a brow. "What in the world....?" She jumped down in a blur of gray and pink, and padded in the direction of the white flash. Starting off in a trot, not really trying to catch up to the other moving lion, now that she was a little closer, she could see the mane.
Breaking out in a a full run, Feana attempted to get closer to him, laughing as she heard his own laugh. So he was crazy and running. Perfect. She shifted, flanking him before leaping to jump on his rear, her claws not out. She didn't want to hurt him, Fenana just wanted to roll and play like cubs.
"Hey! Play with me, you!" She said, hoping she tripped him up. If she did, she'd roll with him and more than likely end up under him, considering her size and the fact he was a full grown lion.

Kenya felt his rump being shoved down as he reached a paw out but could only claw the earth as he went rolling to the ground. "Oof!" He called as the air was knocked out of him temporarily. He heard a voice before he stopped rolling, looking around to see where the voice came from.
He felt something lumpy underneath him. when he looked down he saw blue eyes staring up at him. After a moment, he quickly got up off of the girl, "Oh my, I'm so sorry..." He said as he helped her up.

Oofing as he landed on her, she blinked and tugged herself out of the way before shaking the dust off her fur. Smirking, Feana shrugged her shoulders and laughed. "Why should -you- be sorry, when I'm the one who rolled ya? she said cheekily, walking, well, sauntering over towards him. She wanted to try her paw at flirting and teasing with gentle jokes to reel in a male.
Giving him a little wink, she sat down in front of him, grinning wider. "Feana's the name, joking is the game." She wouldn't tell him about pranking just yet. "Besides, it's not like you crushed me. I mean..." blue eyes looked him over, "you look like you could use a few more pounds on ya."

"Well, I did fall on top of you I guess." He said as he sat down and watched her wink, a little confused at her actions. "I'm Kenya." He said, "Well, hopefully it won't be for a while." he laughed a little.
He laughed again when she mentioned that he could use a few more pounds. "Yeah, mom always said I was a little thin." He smirked and shook out his mane. "But when you grow up with four other siblings, it's kind of hard to get plump."

"Kenya, huh? I have five siblings," her tail flicked behind her as she gave another smile, tilting her head as she watched him. "Some of them went with my mom to a different pride..." Feana wrinkled her nose and snorted at the idea, then sighed. "And, when I grow a bit more, I'm going to be traveling to find her! And maybe make friends along the way!"
Still very much a child at heart. "I'm slight for my age, but I'm going to bulk up. Have to. Hey, were are you from anyway? I haven't seen you in the pride.."

He shook his head, "I'm from a neighboring pride, the Jini-msemi." He said as he reached a paw up to scratch his neck. "I'm on my name quest right now." He said beaming lightly. "But I haven't had any luck so far." He said, wondering what he should do.
"Good luck finding your mother and siblings." He said smiling.

She grinned a little and then blinked, blue eyes looking confused. "...A name quest? But you have one. Kenya," Feana said with a firm nod. She knew nothing of the other pride. She didn't live there, the information was new to her. "Tell me what it's like, that pride? I mean.... If you have to go on a 'name quest' though you have a name? Sounds pretty whacked to me. Few bananas short of a bunch, you know?" The gray and pink female didn't meant to be insulting, but she honestly didn't get it.
Shifting closer to the male, she pawed at his face and then attempted to pin him. "Want to play?" She asked, hoping he did, because that's what she was doing. Trying to get him to play. Or flirt, but playing seemed easier since he didn't pick up on her flirting.

He thought for a moment, trying to think of a way to explain it. "Well, Kenya is my name, but it's my cub name." He said as he looked around, "A name quest is where a lion goes out to find his or her true name." He laughed lightly, "It's a little confusing isn't it?"
He looked around, before a smile came across his maw. He leaned down and jumped to pounce Feana, laughing as he did it.

Ah, well, that explained a lot, didn't it? Once again, she didn't get it, but that was fine. Once pounced, she grinned and laughed, pawing at his face before attempting to grab a mouthful of his mane and tug gently, batting at an ear before wiggling out from under him. Her laughter didn't stop as she wiggled her rear, getting ready to pounce on him, which she hoped to do.
"You're the first adult that will play with me!" She said with a wink and then nipped at his nose before jumping back, tail swishing behind her happily. She sat back on her haunches and then got on her hind legs, claws extended and emitted a bit of a growl. With this, she wanted to make herself bigger and badder looking, very hard for a pink female.

Kenya laughed "Well hopefuly I won't be the last" He said as he looked up, noting that the sun was high in the sky. "I should probably be going.." He said as he stood up and shook the dust and grass off of his white fur. "The sun's getting high and I'm supposed to meat up with my brother today. He's just finishing his name quest and was heading home, I wanted to see him again before he headed back."
He took a few steps back and smiled warmly. "It was a pleasure meeting you Feana, perhaps we will see each other again soon."
