The golden bowed lioness walked the land as if she owned it. After all, she was the Goddess's gift to the land, right? She wore her bow proudly, doing her best to keep it from getting soiled, and washing it every night. She was a proud thing, and happy with her life. However, she was quite niave about how things truly worked in many aspects, but still ignorance is bliss. You're never unhappy with what you don't know until you realize you don't know it, after all.

Rakansii lay atop a great rock, sunning himself. The golden light painting his black coat and rainbow hued accents of mane and markings was pleasingly warm. Dosing peacefully in the golden light, it took him a moment to notice the lioness moving toward him.
"Well... I'm sure I'd have to check, but it's a bit early for Christmas, isn't it?" He rumbled in his most charming voice. "Therefor, it must be my lucky day... Do you have a name, oh Gift of the Afternoon?"

Sanchia was surprised, and paused in her walk at the sound of the deep voice that greeted her. Looking around she gave him a confused look, having no real idea what Christmas was or what it had to do with her, but let it slide. "Sanchia Netana, good sir." She was proud of her name, knowing it meant 'sacred gift' or something close to that. She was even more proud that he'd called her Gift of the Afternoon, and so lifted her head even higher, a smile creasing her maw. "And may I inquire as to your name, sir?"

"Sanchia Netana." He crooned, smiling charmingly. "And a name befitting of such a lovely Gift... A pleasure to meet you, oh-so-lovely Sanchia Netana..."
He stood and bowed gracefully, then leapt down from the rock. "Prince Rakansii at your service My Lovely Lady... But Rakansii will suit and Zii is just as fine."

"Thank you, sir...uh, Prince...I mean Zii..." she floundered as she bowed. She was graced by the presence of royalty! She was unsure of what to do now, after all she'd never met a royal before, and so just remained with her head bowed lowed. After a momentary pause, though, it seemed stupid to remain in such a position, so she raised herself up once more. "It's such a beautiful day, I take it you come out to enjoy it as much as I do."

"Sanchia... If I may call you thus..." He smiled gently. "Please don't with the bowing and the scraping.. Just Rakansii, or Zii... Whichever you prefer, please, it would be nice to have a friend."
He gestured with a paw. "Sit and talk with me awhile?"
