Tiki Jim had taken his daughter out for a nice day at the beach. It was a cool afternoon as it wasn't spring just yet. However, it was still nice out. The sun was starting to warm up the beach again. Tiki Jim sat near the water watching over Kiki.Waikiki KiKi was making a sand castle in the sand next to the water. The tide rippled in and out by her feet making her laugh. It was cold, but since it wasn't much at a time that didn't seem to bother her.

(( Texas Pete and Zuri Seabrook ))
Zuri was, needless to say, cheerful. The little naiad hopped into the lake's waters and swam in circles, delighted to both be in his natural form and to be in the water. The young boy always had a special love of the water, though that may have been because he was a naiad. "Thank you, Texas!" chimed the little boy, happily. "I love the beach!"
Luckily for Zuri, Texas loved the beach too. He buried his toes in the sand and chuckled, always enjoying the strange feeling it left behind. Then, he laid back on the sand and glanced up at the mostly clear sky. The snow was all but melted away and it was cool and pleasant out. This weather was beautiful, and it only showed that more was on its way. "Sure, Zuri. Glad it makes you happy to be here." Because, even if Zuri had not particularly wanted to come to the beach, Texas would have taken him there anyway.
The little naiad giggled at Texas as he laid down. To the little Zuri, it looked like there was a giant taking up a lot of the sand space, like some kind of sand monster. Maybe he should toss water on him. Snickering, the little boy scooped some water and tossed it at Texas, not quite realizing that there was someone else nearby in his splash zone.
Texas laughed and curled his toes as the water hit his feet. That was cold! He snickered at the little boy and sat up, before hurling himself into the water, making an even larger and more wet splash zone than Zuri had. The little naiad squealed, swimming deeper in the lake and laughing all the while.

Waikiki Kiki watched as the too joined her father and her on the beach. They seemed like nice guys until she was all wet. "Hey, that's not cool." She said with a small voice. Maybe on a hot day she would have liked it, but with the coolness in the air still it was a bit too cold. She saw a wave and turned it into dog running towards the Naiad just for fun not to hurt or scare.
"Aloha." Tiki Jim said once he was awake enough to notice the other two. He smiled and nodded. "Play nice KiKi." He told his daughter with a wink about the wave.

Texas blushed brightly when he realized that it was probably his fault that the little angel girl was so wet. "Oh, sorry," apologized Texas, as he rubbed his neck sheepishly. He should have been more careful about the other people around, even if splashing in the water with his little adoptive naiad brother was fun. It was nice to act carefree.
Instead of being apologetic or being an old person in his head like he could tell his brother was doing, Zuri looked at the dog made out of water that was coming towards him. Instead of being scared by it, he was utterly fascinated. "Ooh, a water doggie!" Dogs were cool, but dogs made out of water were even cooler! "Hey, Texy, look at this water doggie! It's super special awesome!"
Texas was poked out of philosphy by his little brother who pointed enthusiastically at the wave dog and kept poking Texas until he looked. Texas's eyes got a little wide when he saw what Zuri was looking at, and then chuckled. "Wow, that's pretty cool, isn't it?"
Zuri nodded rapidly. "Yeah big bro! It's super special awesome!"

Waikiki KiKi smiled. "Thanks. I'm Waikiki KiKi. Nice to meet you." She watched the one swimming around. He was different. Sorta like her aunt that she hadn't met.
Tiki Jim watched and nodded. It was a good thing the dog was okay with the little Naiad.

Zuri went to pet the water dog, but when realizing that didn't work so well, he pouted. Now his hand was full of water dog wetness. Aww... Good thing Waikiki Kiki was there to distract him. "Oh! I'm Zuri Seabrook," the little naiad chirped, "but ya' can call me Zuri! Yup yup. I suppose ya' could call me Seabrook if ya' wanted too; I haven't gotten that nickname yet."
He tapped his chin. "What should I call ya'? You like Waikiki Kiki or Kiki? Ooh, maybe even Kiki Kiki Kiki." The little boy giggled, realizing how ridiculous that nickname would be.
Texas let out a sigh of relief when Zuri stopped pouting. All he needed was an emotional little boy like Zuri to get upset... not. Instead, he chose to observe the new Pae'il. Interesting, they had demon tails but were very obviously angelic. Maybe they were the opposites of the Pae'il Magnus went on a 'date' with.
Texas turned to the elder of what he determined to be mixed angels and asked, "Is she your daughter?" They didn't look all that similar, but they were both mixed angels.

"You can call me KiKi if you want, Zuri." She chuckled a little at the idea of being called KiKi KiKi KiKi. It was kinda long. The little angel got up and walked into the water which caused the wave to go back to normal...seeing that she forgot all about it.
"Yes, she is. I'm Tiki Jim." Tiki Jim nodded to the other one. "I'm guessing that isn't your son, though is he?" He winked and chuckled. "Although I have an adopted Naiad sister so I guess he could be!"

Aww, the dog was gone for good. Little Zuri whimpered at seeing the water dog disappear into the water, but before he started to cry about it, he saw Kiki. Nice people made him happy and it tended to make him forget about what made him upset. "Okay, Kiki! Did ya' ask your daddy to bring you here?" He just guessed that the older guy was her daddy or her big brother or something.
"Big bro brought me here. I love the lake! It's way better than being in a swimming pool all the tme. Big sister Aysu likes it, but it's kinda cramped." The little boy certainly liked to talk; there was no doubt about that.
The demonic couldn't help his laughter. "Oh no, definitely not my son." They didn't even look the slightest bit similar, except for the fact that they both had red on them somewhere. It wasn't even the same tone... "He is my adopted little brother though. Youngest. I have a lot of adopted siblings."

"Yeah, my daddy brought me. I live just over that hill." Kiki pointed to a path from the beach to the forest. "It's not that far away. My family likes water. Hula Great Granddaddy lives in a bar." She pointed towards Hula Bob's.
Waikiki KiKi then swam over to the Naiad boy. "You are a Naiad, right?" She watched his tail intently.
"I know what you mean...well I guess I don't. I only have one adopted sister, but I come from a pretty big family. And then if you count in Jazz's family...yeah." Tiki Jim was Hula Bob's grandson and Waikiki KiKi was his great grandson. It had gotten pretty big now.

The little boy nodded, waving his tail as if putting on a show for the watching Waikiki Kiki. "Yup! I'm a naiad! It's really fun. The only thing that's sad about it is that you guys can't join me here." The naiad pouted at Kiki. That had always been his one wish; for everyone else to be able to join him under the water would be amazingly fun.
"But at least you guys can swim with me! But anyway, what're you? Ya' got a demon tail." Zuri pointed out the tail, before looking up to Kiki curiously.
Hyacinthus followed him everywhere, didn't he? Cinthy was linked to Jazz. ...Bah, he was done thinking about that, remember? "Oh wow." So Tiki Jim was related to Jazz and someone else. Was he one of Hula Bob's decendents? "Your family is probably much bigger than mine."
It was that moment that he realized he had skipped giving his name. "Oh, sorry, I'm Texas Pete."

"I'm an angel. I just happen to have a tail like my dad." Waikiki KiKi was told that her brother and her had demon tails like their father's and like him they were angels with tails. While Grandma Lulu was a mixed angel. It was sort of odd. "Swimming is fun!"
"I guess that's true. But really you family can be very large if you count your friends too." Tiki Jim nodded. "Nice to meet you Texas Pete. You have two names like us." He winked and wondered what his friends called him for short, Texas or Pete.

"Ooh, really? I didn't know ya' could have a demon tail and not be a demon." Zuri tapped his chin, absorbing this new information and placing it in his memory for future reference. Looks were deceiving. "That's pretty cool, though! If you really wanted to, ya' could dress up as a demon for Halloween and people might fall for it or something!"
Then, he grinned. "Do you want to swim a bit in the water? We can't go too far away, but it'd be fun!" She did say she liked to swim! Getting to swim with someone besides Aysu would be fun.
Texas laughed. "This is true! I do have two names. People give me all sorts of nicknames because of it." Everything from Texy to Petey he had been called; some of the names were annoying, others he had grown used to. "I haven't met many others with two names. Do you have a name you usually go by?" Interesting small talk while the little kids wandered off was nice.

"Yeah, my dad wouldn't like it if I went too far." Waikiki KiKi agreed as she swam around Zuri. "Where should we swim?" She didnt' see anything that close so she just swam around in circles.
"It's my family tradition. Only one of us doesn't have two names." He thought of his Aunt Kaelia. "I get called Jim for the most part thought I think someone's called me Tiki."

The little naiad ducked his head under the water to see if he could see anything interesting up ahead. When seeing a little area with shells and pretty shiny stones, he clapped his hands excitedly and came back to the surface. He then pointed at where he saw the shells and pretty stones. "Let's go over there!" While it was a bit further out, they were definitely still well in sight. "I saw some really pretty shells and stones under the water," he chirped, grinning.
That was strange that one person lacked two names and it was interesting to wonder why, but perhaps it was better not to ask. "Alright. I suppose I'll call you Jim, too. You can call me anything, really," Texas shrugged, "but I'd prefer some variant of the name Texas." Mainly because being called anything else rather reminded him of something he wanted to keep away.

"Okay." Waikiki KiKi swam out to where Zuri told her to. She looked to shore and knew it was okay. She could see touch the ground with her tip toes, so she knew it was okay. Waikiki KiKi then tried to look through the water to see what he saw.
"Alright, nice to meet you Texas." Tiki Jim nodded. He was a fan of being called Tiki himself, but that was different then Texas. He then saw the kids and called to them. "Not too far. As long as you can touch remember?"
