 He was on his way to joining a pack-like he thought he never would. He had listened to the proposition and the basic's of it and was rather interested. All he had to do was to accept and join... and he was going to do that later this evening... now he had just finished a hunt and eatten his fill.
He was an adult now and showed it well-tall and muscular at the shoulders. Age had made him even more attractive, so a little blue wild dog had told him. He didn't have interest in any other female he met-not Ani or Ana. He had this small place in his heart for one wild dog-whom he hadn't seen since his puphood. He told no one and spoke of it never... for he was slightly embarrassed that he was so stricken with sadness while thinking of it. Oh, little Nanu... he had fallen for her in an instant. But she was long gone now-no doubt.
He was busy burying the refuse of his dinner, not being careless to leave carcasses behind at this time of year. Someone else would get ahold of it and eat the rest of it-and that annoyed him. His half shut eyes shut fully upon filling in the hole. He sat back on his haunches and smiled to himself.

 Nanu was finally free of the happy go lucky ness of her mother's pack. Always thinking they knew the best for her when they kept such tight tabs on her. Well, mostly the guards part. Especially when the guards got animals to follow her everywhere. It wasn't something she could ignore- and when she had went to venture out.. a male swept her under his wing.
She had become.. a mother then. After months spending with this male.. He even went back to a pack that had died many years before... So here she was. Back in a pack, but this time. It was more of a community where everyone was equal, but still. Her children were princes and princesses of the third generation in her pack- whether she liked it or not but it was fine with their upbringing. They were growing big and strong.. but still pups, even if most of them developed a strong sense of self.
After birthing 10 puppies, she was strong and a VERY good mother- though she'd never admit it. She took time to get to know each one- and love them individually. She didn't seem to look that bad after the pregnancy neither.. Pretty skin, slim as usual and her coat in shine.. Feathers flowed around as she bounced about. It was next to her den and the others we being taught by their father and getting re-acquainted with the others of the pack that Loth had introduced them to. She wished she could be with all of them but some were more adventurous while the others showed personalities of unity. ONE with the pack.. Some wanting to be hunters or leaders one day.. She was proud of them.
But the two in which usually never left her side were the twins. She decided to have some fun.. and they suggested hide and seek. Of course- she was the one to hide.. and they knew their boundaries. Quickly she jumped along. In bliss because she LOVED games. A true free spirit at heart as she graced about. It wouldn't be too long before she heard her twins running about and taking to finding her.
The forest felt like.. an adventure on its own! Quickly she took refuge after sliding against the fallen greens and orange leafs... Looking up a moment to watch the leafs fall... Heh, it must be a bird flying about and causing it. She giggled softly and prance around a bit in the clearing.. but then she remembered that she was suppose to hide. She looked to each side and slipped in to a near by bush, never guessing that her childhood friend was right behind the bush she was in. Her teal tipped slate tail wagging happily. Giggling softly with a little shake in the bush before she went still.. except for her tail. It was wagging still happily- she loved these games that her children taught her each and every day.
It reminded her of the old memories with her friends. Each friend- a lion and the two male wilddogs that caught her off guard and equally made an impact on her. Heh.. especially one rogue male that seemed to have swept her off her paws after the meetings they had. Playing.. she thought truely they would be together forever.. but when he left for so long.. and no one told her that he had come to the pack boundaries.. she thought he just. Forgot about her.

Gin caught a familiar scent drifting across the wind. He lifted his head, his white nose wiggling as he took in the scent. Familiar and yet distant, like a stream flowing a mile away when he needed a drink. He stood up, curious to why he was so anxious and agitated at it. He simply shrugged it off, snorting to himself-before actually going in the direction of it; as if that was his original intention.
He padded on, his golden eyes opening more and more as the scent became stronger. What was it, a rabbit? No... why did it remind him of that? Something like a sweet smell; like a flower? Or water? No, he shook his head. What was it. It was going to drive him mad!!!
The scent became so strong that he had to stop and smell around to see where it was coming from. He looked around, his eyes narrowing. What was it! Who was this! He couldn't put his finger on it. Then, his eyes caught movement. He spotted something wiggling, grey and teal and fluffy. Then, it hit him like a lightening bolt.
"NANU!" He shouted, his tail standing straight up in the air!

Nanu didn't much follow her nose. Nope. She was just waiting about for them to find her- or get near enough so she could dash away at the last minute. Her heart was pounding.. and it felt like her heart was pumping inside her paws. But then she heard a rapid sound of foots steps and it wasn't her children's for sure.
But her ears picked up a voice.. 'Huh?' She thought and then her name was called. Her head immediately shot up. Giving away her exact position. ~ Not even seconds later she was tackled down by a white blur. "ooffph~" Thats what she got for teaching her children so well- and their father of course. He was a little lazy sometimes about hunting but Nanu knew that some of the things of survival was taught by him. For now though, she looked like a turtle that got flipped over. Her paws all in the air as she giggled. This one would have a fun time hunting~ once she got big enough that is.
"GOT cha momma!" Imamu laughed and licked her cheek happily. Wagging her tail- excitement poured over as she nuzzled and laid on her momma's stomach. When she was tackled down, nanu blinked and leaned her head back. Seeing who called her name. Then she softly petted her daughter's head.. but then her eyes widened.. Her soft baby blue orbs... was it-.. it had to be.. her heart sank and then came all back up to her throat. 'Gin..'
Imamu didn't notice quiet at all that another was in the mist~ She was ready for a bath or two- or more playing. Ah~ She loved playing with her momma. She was so much fun! But just so silent. Like Subira.. But she loved them both anyways. Taking a bite out of her momma's chest and pulling it in a playful manner. Her tail waving about in the air.

Gin could feel the sweat pushing past his silver fur. His eyes were deceaving him-they had to be. It was her-in her beautiful glory. Look how thin and defined she was-oh what a goddess. He felt his heart beat cold against his chest-making him dizzy. How could this be. He hadn't seen her in so long-it was almost like a dream; like he couldn't remember it. How long had gone by? Days? Months? He started to head towards her-a wide smile across his pale muzzle when-
Something flew past and tackled her. It was white and smelled like her but-different. Then, he stopped; his golden eyes visible and wide. No... he felt his heart drop into his stomach. It was a puppy. Was it hers. It couldn't be? It didn't look like her at all. But his nose told him the truth-no matter how badly he willed it to be a lie. It was her blood. He could smell the sweet scent of it. He simply stood there, absolutely crushed. No way... Was he-was he completly out of his mind then? No... No...
"N-nanu?" He finally mananged to say, his voice rather tight in this throat. How could this be. Had years gone by so fast that she had forgotten him? A twinge of pain dug into his chest so bad he had to swallow. He hadn't ever cared about such a thing-seeing someone again. Hell, he didn't care to see anyone ever but Nanu-oh Nanu. He had wished to see her again and again as time went by. And now, he was staring at her and this Pup... this total fact that she had forgotten him. His Nanu. Oh... She had chosen a life without him.
Was he that easy to forget. Why was he giving a damn? He shook his head, his ears lowered. A puppy... that meant a male no doubt.

Nanu was about to nuzzle her child until she heard her name being called. Funny because only her pack knew her name plus the male she was owned by. Quickly she snatched up her kid, rolled then jumped back.. But when she lifted her head up to see whom it was.. Her heart sank. Almost completely.. Slowly she put down Imamu and looked up with her soft blue eyes..
Her tail wagged a bit but then went very slow.. Tilting her head as she came up and bowed her head. This was the Nanu that she grew up in to. Not yet finding the Goddess of Voice. Yet. But she could speak with the spirits.. like the shaman that she was. Hearing the wind.. a soft breeze.
"Huh? Momma who are yea." She stopped and the looked to the other; her ears big.. and her facial features like Nanu when she was younger. She still didn't grow in to her ears.. Her pale white skin.. With her black skull upon her face. Coal eyes looked to the other.. "Who are you." She wiggled free from her mother's grasp and her body up on all fours. Her tail wagging hyperly. "Momma he knows your name! How does he know~" She looked up..
Nanu couldn't much speak of course and her children all knew this. She simply smiled.. This male in front of her was meant to be her future like the spirits had once showed her in her dreams. But it seemed somewhere along the way- someone or something made their threads of fate twist and pull.. but still. Somehow.. Now look. They were now in front of each other again. Slowly she pulled Imamu back in. Trying to tell her with her body to bow. And the little one did. Just the same.
Subira on the other hand was taking much time in following her sister's foot prints. Since she darted away- this twin lagged behind since she wasn't the type to run about. Nope. She wasn't like the others. Hyper and crazed.. She was in tune with the spirits and going to be a shaman. So things were taken in stride with her.

He couldn't believe it! It was her, in the flesh. How could this be. He was so sure he would never see her again-yet here she was to tug his heart strings. He simply stared at her, his golden eyes telling her all she needed to know. He also, had always felt that way to her. Always been thinking and hoping that someday he would see her again, fall for her again.
He looked down to the white pup and simply stared at her. That could have been his pup. "I'm Gin. I knew your mother... when we were your age!" He said simply, looking to the other twin just as straightly, rather sadly. "I see your mother has been doing well."
He lifted his eyes and looked to Nanu; something else lingering behind those golden orbs. "But I really don't need her to explain it to me... I think I can figure it out!" He said simply, sitting down and looking sullomnly at them again. What lovely puppies.

"Is that true momma!" She exclaimed as she turned around- surprised muchly about it all.
It felt like her heart had tugged.. and pulled.. in a way she couldn't understand. She.. faced with puppy love. Then to be claimed by another. It was always like that.. they couldn't ever be just one.. She nodded to her pup then looked away.
Imamu of course didn't full understand the situation. How could she? Just a pup.. and not the real chosen one. Imamu was something like a fake.. and she'd learn that as she grew. "Well. My name is Imamu. The White dragon!" She introduced herself proudly. "Twin of the Black Spirit dragon! And if your momma's friend then I am yours friend too!"
When she finally arrived.. she saw her twin .. and as she slowly came up. She had a real animal skulled head... connected with the bones of a spine and ribs.. "This male.. was had his fate tied to mother's." She blunty said as she bit Imamu's ear and pushed her down. Putting a paw over her neck as she looked at the other. "Your lying out of your teeth..." She lightly growled.. then quieted down. Flicking her tail.
Nanu's eyes went wide as she squeaked... What else could she do! Swirling around in front of Subira and made a very shocked yet hurt face.. Of course she would. It was a defense for her heart. She looked at Gin and let her tail go between her legs.
"Your lying to mother and yourself." From only meeting him.. how did she? It was the aura he gave off.. the love he had once experience and see it taken away by his very own eyes. How she could tell. "Its no use trying to act in front of us..." She looked up to her mother and gave a dismissing look.. before a wave of her tail.. "Im Subira of the spirits and its useless to lie. You should know that Silvertongue."

Gin looked down at the two pups and could not help but feel sadness creeping over him. Why though? He hadn't seen her for so long... it was just the way things were. He shut his golden eyes for a painful moment. So he had to get over her then? He opened his eyes at the little skulled ones words. He looked down at her long and hard... confused. Then, he looked up at Nanu and some other emotion crossed his face.
"Well then, since they some how already now-" He looked down to the pups and with his usual, cold hearted, squinty eyed look. "-Me and your Mother used to be in puppy love... i suppose that is what it is called." He said bluntly, looking back up to Nanu. He didn't know how the little one would know such things.
He lifted his head and did a double take at the little girl. How did she know his wolf name? He had just decided that a few hours ago. He stood up, looking her up and down. "I am sorry... but that name is something personal to me at this moment. I'd appreciate if it wasn't spoken aloud... It is my new pack name and It is something that is not certain! I don't know how you know it but... keep it secret!" He said quickly, looking to Nanu with a confused gaze.

She got quiet. Scared a little.. like her bones were being crushed under their words. How did she not understand. "But.. what about father!!" She growled. "Subira stop!"
Subira smirked under her skull hat. "Heh... That isn't a secret." She chopped her teeth together.. and crawled over her sister's body. "The real secret is ... whats in that fake face of yours. Is it that I made you realize it clearer.. Should you so use it.. A wolf's name." She sang- in a sing song.. yet creepy sorta way. "Finally your in a pack.. so what have you now."
nanu slowly swiped Imamu from under Subira and hurled her over her shoulder. She stood behind Subira.. the only connection to where she could speak. By means of her own child as a tool.
"Heh.. Puppy love.. You don't know half of it. Your fates were tied together from the beginning.. but it wasn't only that." She bared her fangs. "Betrayal happened.. " Then she shrugged a little.. taking a step forward. She wasn't scared.. Not with all the spirits around her.. she could feel them- hear them. The winds.. "As if you could see my mother's emotions. If you didn't notice. She still has feelings for you!" She gave out a howl. "But your time is up." She turned to her mother.
She foresaw this meeting so long ago.. and to finally have it happen. She closed her eyes..then looked away.
"Did you know my mother is a seer... did you know that your fate was already set in stone." She lifted her head to look up at the male.. absorbing his look.. his smell. "I wonder who did it... but the spirits won't tell me..."
Tears started welling up in her face and she could only move back and whimper. Her daughter.. was so cruel to say such things...But that was them. They were brought up in the truth.
"Subira! If we tare him apart we're only gunna tare momma apart too!"
With those words- her eyes widened.. it was like she was possessed.. and they let her go. "Mother.."
Nanu was extremely hurt.. the harsh reality.. she didn't want to admit. Seers knew things that others could not bare to understand. Their calm.. their abilities .. but not even that she could compare with her daughter that did not have these abilities. She knew the spirits.. were awakened in this child. From the dead dragons of the children's father. Or so they believed... and he was in a pack!? the one rogue that she thought would never.. what she tried to escape from then was now in another. Look..how the roles changes..

Gin had to take a step back. These pups were freaking him out! He lifted his muzzle and showed his teeth a little in disgust... in fright and in fear. He narrowed his eyes at the chatty pup, before looking up at Nanu. His heart was beating, out of rage and betrayal... and some other emotion that was seething through him. How could she? How could he have let her do this!
"A wolfs name! Its what I am now! A nightwalker! Its a pack thing-you wouldn't understand child!" He said harshly. His golden eyes flashed. "She still has feelings for me! HA! Yet she sidles up to any old male that comes her way! I understood her! I understood you Nanu. I loved you... I always have-and this is what I get!" He tuned side ways and paced for a moment, obviously seething.
"No... I didn't know she was a seer! I didn't care! I loved her for who she was! Quiet and kind and sweet... but.. that means nothing now!" He tossed his head side to side in a fit of rage and jealousy. He was so jealous of this stranger who had stolen his Nanu from him.
"We didn't see eachother... I wasn't allowed to... I was a rouge and she was a princess! HOW was I suppose to keep my sights on her! And here she is, with pups in tow!" He looked to Nanu and the pain that seeped out of his eyes was evident. "I-I-I thought of you so much Nanu... " He drew his head away.

Imamu gave out a growl. "We're from a pack too! Where the dragons will surely prevail!" Her claws came out. "PAPPA SAVED MOMMA!" She jumped down and looked up at the other male. "I don't know much about spirits~ fate. What ever! But momma .. love?"
Subira's eyes widened.. "Mother!"
She couldn't help but cry..
Subira went over to her mother and nuzzled her paw.. But nothing .. she hurt mother in taring apart this male. Momma's friend. Now she felt bad.. "Im sorry momma! I didn't mean to! Im sorry!" She exclaimed. Turning her face to the other. "Seers have the worst fate! She probably knew this all was gunna happen! " She bit the air.
Imamu growled. "Don't you think MOMMA SUFFERED TOO! Wolf's name.. words. Packs.. But momma has feelings! And your hurting them! To give her a foul name!" She darted to hit but only was swiped away.
Nanu's eyes darted to the male.. tears rolling down them. It was her past yes.. When he tossed his head aside.. Nanu moved slowly towards Gin. It hurt to see him hurt. What he said about her- but once her daughter went for an attack she moved forward swiftly and snatched her out of the air..putting Imamu behind herself.. as she stood up tall.. on all fours which she was still pretty much smaller than him. Lifting her chin as only moments did she bow her body down. What he wanted to say.. let him. It was her pride ? No her kindness..
Subira's eyes went big. "No.. But mother!"
Nanu's tail hit the ground angrily.
Imamu was just as shock.. but bowed too. Usually being the angry one.. but this time the twins switched roles.
Subira did the same after.. with a light whimper. This hurt.. how could her mother do this! Bow down to someone whom bad mouthed her! Making her body tremble.
Nanu looked up- still close to the floor. It is what you wish- your judgment. She really was the same.. Except with pups now.. If his judgment fouled her.. she would only accept it as what she will live forth when she thought of him. Her daughter said truth though.. Seers would hurt the most to see before hand what will happen.. then be destined to leave it but she knew her fates were still twirled around each other.. but in a thin line.. she had saw many things on her journey of becoming a shaman. One was this meeting.. another would be when the tables have turned. When a pup from Gin's blood wonders to their lands.

He had no clue what a dragon was but for all he cared, why bother. He sat in silence, listening out of his left ear as the puppies mingled and spoke. The sad sad truth was that he still loved her, despite this betrayal, this coming forth as a mother. Inside, his heart beat against icy blood, as his breaths were almost gulps for relief. He gazed sideways over at Nanu and saw the tears and had to look away quickly, the pain his own eyes so great he may start to tear...
Then something else hit him. Why was he crying? He looked over at the three of them, a small family. Was he angry because he was jealous of them... being together. He had no one. "Well she certainly has a reason to have pups with him now." He said simply, almost in a daze. "Nanu never suffered when I was around... I thought I made her happy..." He said softly, looking hurt over at Nanu; his golden eyes wavering.
He made a grimance when they began to bow to him. "Eih?" He took a step back. "Oh, stop it Nanu. There is no need for that... you are the princess after all... I am just a lowly rouge... If anything I should bow down before you and your princess's but forgive me if I don't. I am not one of your pack mates, so I suppose that would be inappropriate; wouldn't it?" He asked, his golden eyes starting to hide under his eyelids, becoming the usual slits. "Well, I can truthfully say I am happy to see you are alive at least Nanu... even if I may not see you again. I don't think I shall intrude on your life anymore..." He gave a quick bow himself.
He then quickly stood up.
"But let me ask you Nanu. Does he love you like I did.. like I could have! Does he understand you, care for you... love you like I do--did... No, I still love you... Even though I am now a story teller, I suppose I should get all my truths out before I begin my new life... my lonely life." He paused. "Does he care for the puppies like I would have? Would he protect you from a storm like I once did? Remembering the rising water! Remember your fox guardian... how cruel I spoke to her because i was defending you?

She looked up slightly.. princess. Loth didn't know.. But how would she be able to tell him? Her body trembled at the mere thought of him knowing.. But what else could she do? Ban herself from ever falling in love? She couldn't.. Because her children made her so much stronger.. This love she couldn't trade..
She cringed.. no. Her mother can't do this.. lay before this male and expose herself as if he had her fate now in his paws.. He could attack and they wouldn't be able to do anything! She wasn't a seer.. no. She couldn't have been... since birth that was not her path- but surely Subira knew.. that Seers had the worse fate. Looking inside her mind for answers.. It was true. How could anyone hold the mere fact that the one whom says they love them.. will leave them? And know it!
This pup couldn't take it- she pushed herself under her mother's head and lifted it up.. whispering. "Mother.. you did nothing wrong.."
She slowly got up.. but instantly looked away.. Letting her tears space down her face.. What he was saying.. was true. There wasn't love between her and loth.. was there? he just.. treated her like an object. One of his many treasures but in her own way.. she wanted to accept it was love. She was owned at least! He protected her! Her body shivered.. but then looked back to him surprised when he confessed.. these feelings. Concerns.. Questions he knew she could not answer.. She moved her paw to scoop up her children.. and bring them close to her body.. hiding them from such those painful words. Did he love them? Did he love the children she bared from him? The most painful look crossed her face as she remembered giving birth.....alone.
How the instinct of being a mother flowed from the very first time..
But betrayal lingered off between Loth and herself.. and she didn't even know it. Her sister. Being involved.. but not ways she would ever suspect. But that never crossed her mind- nor would it.. but she had seen many things.. and it always seemed to have her sister.
She nudged her white skulled face out of her mother's grasp to look at the painful look.. Then she bared her teeth to the male.. How could .. those words. What weigh did it have on her mother!?
"Stop.. saying..such hurtful things.." She looked up. "I thought you were cool.. but to make someone cry- when you say you love them..Is unforgivable."
Black charcoal eyes opened wide as she looked to her sister.. She hadn't heard such.. tone. voice.. words ever come out from her sister.. but that was the just of it. Her sister surprised her.. and nodded.. looking to the male... then covered her face with her sister's fur..
"I would never ... make Subira cry. Because I LOVE her.. Was this what you wanted.. To see my mother cry.." her eyes went cold.. emotionless as she said this.. She couldn't permit someone to take love and run it through the ground.
Many things he said were truth.. Maybe he would have loved the pups better- or took care of them better.. She blushed lightly.. But he was not the one she chose .. she didn't even know this would happen to her.. But it seemed fate was terrible to her.. and made her suffer way too much. But.. alone? She looked to her children.. then at Gin.. he through it all out... did he feel better?.. She put her paw on Imamu's black face..
But when alone..
She shook her head and slowly got up.. over her pups and softly nuzzled him.. Nudging her cheek against his.. to comfort him- for he really was not as alone as he thought..
Your not alone..Im still here.. She tried to convey..No matter if she had children.. Their friendship in her mind would never be .. broken.
She was bout to burst after her mother to not go towards the male- but she was stopped.. "Why .. sister."
Her soft eyes.. went to Imamu.. "Mother doesn't want him to look sad.. no matter how much she hurts.. look." She trailed her face to her mother- which leaned against him just a little.. her kinda hug.. "Mother's kindness... is unwavering.
Shocked.. but knew it better.. She gently pulled Subira in to her arms and curled around her.. She wanted to be like her father- so she would be able to be strong enough.. to protect Subira with all her might... This is what she thought love was.

He sat in his depression and sadness, his eyes now completely hidden to the world. Was this a cruel trick that the gods played on him! What had he done to deserve such cruelty. His heart trembled inside of him and such sadness and fury filled him, he almost stood and ran away from her but he didn't. He didn't have the courage.
"I will stop saying them because I have nothing more to say!" He sat to the pup. He was unnerved by them-something about them. Perhaps it was the thought of them not being his-the pups of Nanu. He felt instant sadness again and his face showed it. He would never be her mate now. Ever.
His head hung and his ears were flat against his skull as he shook his head side to side slowly. He was about to lift his head and try to say something when Nanu's cheek met his-and he paused. What to do-listen to his heart-or listen to his soul. He felt the urge to pull away but, did not. Her touch-it was like a sun beam against him-warm and lovely. "Nanu..." He murmered... "Your children are lovely."
