Sound of the Earth FestivalCome One come all! To the Sound of the earth festival, All tribes and totems are invited to come and watch the shows, meet others and gather together in this old time tradition.
No one shall be turned away for this two week long event (but this may go one as long as wanted). Put up and tent and stay the night for the night dances and star watching.
The Host of this festival shall be a Shaman totem that has a special connestion to the earth. Avani, a totem blessed by the earth gods, who will be doing shows and showing our future totems and adult humans the ways of the earth.
So Come, Eat and Enjoy!

Over View,
Okay yeah so i made this up to get everyone together and into rping. So come and join please!
Just some rules.
1. If you want to join please send me a profile of who you will be playing. It can be anything, Human, totem, fimilar. Doesn't matter.

Bio: Avani is a totem that was blessed y the earth gods with the tree on top of her head. What came with that gift was the power to control the plants and well the earth. She Became a shaman because she was so intouch with it. And she now has a Guardian, name Malia who is a shaman in training for her tribe. Image: ((to be added))

Bio: Is the guardian of Avani, and has never been to this festival before. Her and Avani travel alot as she is still learning about her shaman traing. For when she takes over her grandmother's place.

Personality: Sweet, funny, sarcastic, has a bit of a wild streak.

Bio: Nahimana is cautious and guarded until you gain her trust. She is very selective with both her trust and her respect. She is looking for change: be it through guidance or distraction. (( just added her myself Zolis, hope you don't mind ^.^; ))

The sound of music the smell of fresh food drew natsu's senses along, feet moving without his bidding as he simply followed his nose and his ears. Wasnt there supposed to be something he was going to do today? Whatever it was he couldn't remember, the sound of voices as he drew closer the sight of a giant festively colored tent.. "The festival.." the quiet adolescent muttered, a slight smile crossing his wary features, blue eyes sparkling at the thought of treats and new people..
He was never one for new people, believed he was cursed really having been alone since birth, yes he was truly cursed. Tail swishing slowly, stopping his own procession by force of will as he glanced along, did he really want to do this? The goddess was going to be there today, or so it was said, the word of mouth word of whispers. Maybe if he was cursed she could lift it? She of all people certainly could do such magical things! Taking a deep breath sighing as he slunk forwards, demeanor changed as he stalked now closer to the entrance now, the flaps pulled back allowing everyone entry a good gaze into the heart of the tent, and it was breathtaking. Tail swishing a bit more quickly, excitement driving him forwards as he made his way into the tent to join the festival of the earth..

Avani had been up the whole night, helpnig others get ready for the festival. Most told her that she didn't need to, she simply said nonsense i am not one to stand by and watch. And now she had ventured into her own personal tent. It was her own personal making, a few tree that she'd grown this morning and then grown into a dome. The door covered by flowered vines. There were flowers and butterflies all over her tent. The sun was shining through the top.
Smiling she opened her doors for people to come and visit her. Later was gonig to be her presentation of the forest. It would be...well magical. And she hoped that some would feel the connection to the forest that she did. She could see her animal friends comming around and curling up in the tree dome. They were always aronud her, but she loved it they were her family. Just like all the totems that came to see her.

Natsu stepped inside quietly, gaze up, eyes wandering as he stood in awe for a few moments, so many things and people and totems and life filled the tent. Careful of where he stepped for fear of trodding on some poor other small animals tail..Animals so many hed never seen quite this many gather before.
Shying away from the sunlight at first, pacing across the tent ground as he made his way to the center of the ring. The floor was lush, all was lush in a way, flowers and scents and fresh earth and greens. "Wow.." he had to laugh at himself, so awed at things that were so simple. He wasnt one who saw much life though, and in one place it threw him off just a bit. Still he was determined, he wanted to meet people, meet the goddess.

"They are comming" She told a little bird that perched at her side, it was a humming bird. It almost smiled at her and she did so back.
There was a placte of fruit in her tent and she hadn't touched it, it was for her guests not her. But she hoped that someone would come soon and talk to her, ask her questions about anything.

Natsu sniffed around softly, following the many diferent scents and noises, seeing animals hed never seen before. The poor thing nearly jumped out of his skin when he encountered a porcupine. Growling at it almost childishly as he skittered away.
Catching the smell of food and happily moving over to it, eyes going wide when he realized who it was sitting near the fresh plate of fruit.."Ah..greetings" the male said with a small bow, his tail wagging slightly as he eyed her curious form, covered in vines and leaves, yet very beautiful.

Nahimana sat in the far corner of the festivities, watching. She was not experiencing the joy that everyone else appeared to be feeling.
Could the end of a life truly be forgotten so quickly?
Nahi shook her head, trying to clear her mood. Of course people were upset by the loss of Grandfather, but he was now enjoying a new life and here she was, probably hampering his passage with her black mood.
Having never been to the festival without Grandfather, the young wolf shifted to her feet and began to pad silently through the crowd; offering a nod when necessary and drifting in more pleasant memories when her attention was not needed. Grandfather had not been her guardian per se, but she had respected him and appreciated his companionship and teaching. Nahi had heard him talk about the Shaman and Grandfather had been invited to see the totem of the Earth Goddess be bestowed upon the Shaman's granddaughter. Well, perhaps it was time to meet the Goddess. Maybe a few words with her would bring Nahimana some closure and maybe...
...maybe the Goddess could help her find a new path to start down.
With these thought in mind, Nahimana slowly, but surely made her way towards the canopy of trees that signified the pavilion where the Goddess would be in residence for the duration of the festival.

Avani smiled softly, her inverted eyes taking in one of her children. "Hello Natsu, i am Avani" She said and walked over to him. She saw that he had been drawn to the sweet smelling fruit.
"Please eat, i can always get more" She said and took one of theseads that was on the table and dropped it into the ground pushing it in with her paw. Almost instantly a pear tree sprouted up, already filled with fruit.
Avani then turned and sat down on a pillow letting the male totem eat his fill. His coloring was very beautiful, purple and white like the sun set tended to be, and black like the night. There also seemed to be something over his shoulder, like a mist of something that was ment to be there but never grew.
She also sensed another on her way to the canopy. A little totem, scearching very hard for something. But also having lost something very dear to her. She was a lost soul.

Natsu jumped a bit as the great earth goddess spoke to him, rather surprised that the wise female knew his name already. Really he was sure he shouldn't have been surprised, she was afterall a goddess.."Ahh..Avani" he smiled slightly, a guarded look on his face "Its nice to meet you" it was so odd to meet someone like her, someone almost intimidating.
Licking his chops as he glanced between her and the fruit, the little purple and black wolf marveling at the magic she possessed, "Wow..heh I suppose you can always get more cant you" it would be wonderful to get to eat his fill, and there were so many exotic looking fruits, they smelled so good. The teen biting into the juicy treats, contently chowing down with occasional glances between avani and the front door, his ears twitching as he caught the scent of another approaching wolf.

Having sensed the... presence of the Goddess, Nahimana had slowed her approach slightly more. She was not particularly intimidated, the aura was certainly a welcoming one; but Grandfather had been one of the Spiritual leaders of the tribe. She had been raised to show a healthy respect to anyone who radiated the kind of power she was sensing now.
Coming around a corner and breaking through a crowd, Nahimana realized she was within visual range of the Goddess' canopy: and that she already had a guest! A young male, slightly older than herself Nahi figured, with a deep, brilliant indigo coat, striking black and white markings, and a shimmer of... something hovering with him. Nahimana certainly couldn't claim any godly powers, but she had been named 'mystic' for a reason. She could sometimes see things, sense things, predict things others couldn't. Another thing to ask the Goddess about the young wolf thought, torn between amusement and embarrassment. She had no desire to appear needy, but she had never felt so lost....
But, the Goddess was already occupied, and the male appeared to have just joined her there, so Nahimana sat quietly; a polite distance away so as to avoid eaves-dropping if the other wanted a quiet, private moment with the stunning, tree-bedecked totem. She was happy to wait her turn.
