The sandy male had been doing his best to raise his family. He had been doing everything he could to keep himself from listening to his wandering heart.
The female lion cub Valenera had ventured out on her own, and he had not seen her since. He wondered how she was.. He hoped she was okay. But in truth, he had six pups with his mate, that he had to worry about slightly more.
His deep red eyes glittered as he kicked at the sand. He blended in quite well. He was a handsome male, mated with a family of his own.
Though every now and then, he had to get away.
So here he was, a little away from home, lying upon a rock, and kicking at the sand under his feet.
Giving a deep sigh he smiled. He enjoyed this time to himself.

For a rouge he surprisedly didn't do all the wandering that the others did. He had picked himself out a small territory and settled into it. What good was wandering anyways? He thought aimlessly to himself settling at some point in the grass. As long as the prey was good he couldn't see much of a point to all that moving anyways.
His nose then quirked as his head finally hit the dirt below. There was something else nearby in the lands he was sleeping in. So pushing him self upwards he went to investigate it. Could make for a fun adventure. Expecially if he got to show off his coat.

The hyenas crimson eyes caught hold of the lion instantly. He was roving over the lands.
Geheim's ears perked, and he narrowed his eyes slightly.
This wasnt really lion territory.. But he knew that some made their way around the area.
He had hoped this one wouldnt try to take his rock.. He'd fight for this heat rock.
He waited for the other to get closer, getting ready to be defensive.
He blended in quite well, but lowering his body to the rock, and praying that the lion wouldnt see him.

His nose quirked not really needing to 'see' the other. He then wuffled in some more air over the roof of his mouth. Hyena? Oh dear those were vicious wern't they. He then found himself walking closer and closer to where the other was laying. He hoped that he wouldn't get attacked. Scars never made the man.
"Hello....?" He questioned curiously. "Is anyone there? I mean you no harm?" His ears then moved about looking for any rustling that would give away the others position.

Geheim held back a chuckle. So the lion knew he was close to hyena territory..He was a bit..what was the word..afraid of the thought of Geheim being out there and unseen.
He lifted his head, red eyes opening to reveal themselves.
"Im am right here. I mean no harm either, but one must always be cautious of a lion."
He said, looking at him with a nod. His brown mane bobbing up and down with his head.
"They call me Geheim, or, Secret."
He said, introducing himself.

"And a rouge must be cautious of the Hyena." He nodded glad the other was now in site. His ears still continued scanning for others. As if he was waiting to be ambushed. He never did have much liking towards Hyena's. Then again it was probally because of all the stories his parents had told him 'Avoid Hyena territory young Feleji. One Hyena may be dangerous...but a pack of them could kill you.'
"Well thats good." He let out a weak smile towards the other- still under the impression he was going to be jumped from behind. "I'm Feleji." He twitched his tail back and forth nervously.

Geheim felt the nervous energy around the lion and did chuckle this time.
"You know, you arent actually in Hyena pack lands.. You're in neutral territory.. I only come out here to laze around."
Which, was true. He didnt see many packs around here.. He had left his family in that place. They would be safe with other hyenas. They would not be safe here.
Lions could pick off a little family so easy out here.
"Its us who should fear you out here."

"Well thats good to know." He gave a small sigh but continued to flick his tail back and forth like the thought still danced in his head. Hyena territory...His eyes looked back in wence he came. Worse came to worse and he did get jumped he'd bolt out of there and pray the pride leader he ran into would be far more forgiving then the Hyena nipping at his heals.
"Well I think we are in the same boat. You fear me- and I fear you." He nodded back and forth.

Geheim smiled, jumping off his rock.
He was a bit shorter than the lion. He was also skinnier, and a bit.. well he was just all around littler.
"I, do not fear you my friend."
He chuckled.
"I choose to be cautious."
He flicked his tail.
"So Feleji, what drove you out here?"
He asked, with a c**k of his head.
"Odd place for a rogue lion."

"I was actully thinking of giving up on being a rouge and claming some land for myself. I'm getting to that age I'd like to raise a family. And I want to keep them safe in lands I own." His tail stopped flicking so fast. He doubted the other would attack him; and his ears would never let him down. And as far as they could hear nothing was about the two.
"So do you have a family?" He tilted his head curiously.

Ah, the family thing. Geheim could understand that. He had been a wanderer all his life, until finally he had been given the chance at having love and a family.
He smiled, with a nod at the thought of his family.
"I have six children. Four girls, two boys."
He said with a grin.
"I also have a pretty little mate. I feel you though dude.. I was a wanderer, until I met Chipo."
He smiled thinking of her.
"You got a female in mind?"

His eyes went wide at the mention of so many children. He wished he'd be prosperous as that when the time came. "Well I have one I fancied. But she was a little younger then I am...So I figure I'd wait and hopefully she remember me when she grew up. The waiting is the part that kills you in all this." He nodded now with his tail laying flat on the ground not nervous at all.
"Yea I'm looking for a nice place to raise them. Someplace out of the way of Lions and Hyena's. I've never really trusted either of them- no offence."

He said with a smile.
"That wont offend me. Im pretty laid back and all."
He said with a flick of his tail.
"Well Im glad you have someone in mind. It makes things easier. Best of luck to you!"
He smiled, nudging him with a paw.
"I have nothing against lions. I raised one in my day."

"Really? You raised a lion." He chuckled at that. "You must have been the talk of the hyena community with that one." He could only envision it in his own mind seeing the hyena infront of him with 6 of his own species and one lion troding behind. "Though thats kinda funny- the lioness I met says she was raised by a hyena....we wouldn't happen to be talking about the same red and white female now would we?"
He cocked his head curiously at the male. Boy that would be some story and some coincidence if she was the same female that this male knew.

Geheim grinned.
"So Valenera worked her way into your heart eh? I dont blame you much there. She was a sweet little thing. But she wasnt happy here. So she left. But I do wish you the best of luck."
He said with a smile.
"But if you'll excuse me, it was a pleasure to meet you, but my family will be missing me.. If Im not back, Chipo will have to come searching, and an angry female is not fun. Remember that."
He said with a grin, before heading in the direction of home.
