It’s the year 2140 below the streets of busy Tokyo, in the old abandoned sewage ways walks the citizens of a different society. These citizens once were all citizens of New York but they were chosen to pass through the manhole and enter this secret society. The members of this secret society are blind, their eyes gauged out of them upon passing through the manhole. The lack of eyes is to prevent distraction in the society. Only the most important members in the society, the people who need eyes as well as a few elite still have them. The rest do not need them for when they enter they are immediately sent to a lab. The lab isn’t the cleanest in the world; it isn’t even comparable to a decent hospital. In the lab the technicians (who do have eyes) slice open the stomachs of the newcomers and infuse “demonic” blood into them. The “demonic” blood doesn’t come from demons, but it is constructed from animal DNA to enhance natural human abilities. Another bonus is that the subjects are then able to control these abilities by will. There is, however a catch. The animal DNA causes change to the subject’s physical appearance, such as the growing of fox ears, a tiger tail or in some extreme cases, paws. Along with these powers, the DNA gives each of these “monsters” a heightened sense of loyalty. They obey their leader/master’s every whim to the death. Since most of the “demonic” blood contains animals which eat meat, these monsters have a tendency to climb back up to the surface world to wreak havoc and devour humans. (They do not eat each other for it’d almost be like cannibalism) This is the result of a result that was abandoned 5 years ago, a research for a superhuman soldier.

The monsters of the sewers used to have a master. But being human, nomatter how he deciplined his creations in the end he was still devoured by them. The monters now have no master. They feast when they choose to. At first the human race was defenceless but now they've decided to fight back. In Tokyo the government has deployed several special task forces to take care of the monsters should they be spotted.
Background info on the "monsters"
They are not wild animals, they are intellegent. However like beasts they do feast on humans with no remorse. They cannot tell the difference between a man, a woman, a child or grandmother, to them they're all just food. They fight amoungst eachother and they can still mate. In some cases the monsters may develop feelings for a human and may try to bond but it is impossible to push aside your hunger. ((Your hunger is for meat but mainly human flesh))
**Note: To pass through the manhole you will recieve a small letter. It will tell you that you have been invited to one of the most exclusive clubs and to meet infront of a small shop. It's your choice whether you go. Infront of the shop there's a manhole and that's where the a team of humans comes to drag you down. Sometimes the Demons would sned out fake letters and eat the people who come down or use them as playtoys then eat them. ((I'll be using red text for Demon sent letters and blue text for Human sent letters))

They call the creatures from the sewers Demons. Also because it is 2140, there are now hovercars. They hover above the gorund but not high up in the sky. Also the way to kill a Demon, although it isn't common knowledge amoungst the humans or even the police is to cut off itd head. ((If you want to be a police member just insert it in the bio section of the character profile. Also humans don't generally carry weapons around. You can have one in your house though. ((Kids under 18 can't have a weapon!))
