Pilate, as usual, was following the wind. It was what the cub had done and known all of her short life. Why stop now? The wind stopped for a brief moment and then blew in the opposite direction it had been blowing.
"MAKE UP YOUR MIND !!" The green cheetah cub yelped. It slightly echoed across the African plains. The cub had already been in that direction and didn't care to turn around. There was nothing new there, she had seen it all. Long grass and rocks and more long grass, desert patches and trees. She growled lowly to her self in displeasure and picked a new random way.
Not following the wind for once. That was a big change for the cub indeed.

The son of Codail had finally set out on his first adventure. Though it wasnt neccesarily something his mother was very fond of. .But he had chosen to do it despite what she had said to him.
His little body was dark grey in color, his paws white, along with his tail tip and a whisp of white atop his head. His eyes were a deep sapphire blue, and he had a bright pink nose.
He reminded himself of a raincloud, but then again..it was only because he was grey.
He kicked at the sand under his paws, throwing dirt this way and that..Even managing to get a little in those sapphire orbs. He blinked, sneezing a bit, and shaking his head.
When the offending dirt had finally been wiped from his eyes, they were red and burning.
"Aw man.." He pouted. Mother was right. Sometimes it wasnt fun being out alone..

Pilate paused, hearing another, and dipped low down in the grass. Her ears laid flat against her head and her tail wrapped close to her body. If what ever was out there was bigger then her and hungry, Pilate would be an easy prey at such a young age. That was not on her to do list to get eaten. Not now and certainly not ever.
Her curious nature got the best of her, and before Pilate knew it, she was creeping along the plains low on her belly.
"Hello?" The cub got down lower after she had called out to what ever was. Not smart at all to cry out when your trying to hide.

He perked his little grey ears and listened for the voice to call again.
"Hello yourself?" He called back, looking intently.
The creature sounded small.. They also sounded female. He had begun to notice the pitch differences in some. And it was a good indication of gender.
"Where are you?" He asked, circling himself.

The cubs head popped up faster then a weed in an over watered garden. Pilate was a little over trusting and still pretty innocent, not a good feature to have when your so vulnerable and small.
"I'm here!" She was out of her frighten state at almost a switch of a button. She was still a little hesitant but she didn't feel to threatened.
Whether she could out run this new comer was a different story. Sure she was a cheetah but she was still a cub and awkward.
Hesitation crept over the young cub as did shyness, but she stood up in that tall grass and peered at the other with huge bright pink eyes. Even if she had stayed in hiding her bright pelt and eyes would have given her away at some point.

He saw the head poke out of the weeds, and he almost fell over backward in surprise. But instead he giggled, and walked closer, sniffing the air for some kind of smell.
She looked like his cousins that were around his family most often. She must have been a cheetah. He had never met a cheetah that was not considered cousin. Was this a cousin too?
He doubted it, but he happily would speak to this one.
"Hi!" He said, a smile forming on his maw as his eyes sparkled.

Pilate took a few small steps forward as well as she studied the other. After a short while she smiled at the other.
"You don't look so scary," She laughed, "I thought you may have been .... " Her words didn't form to the word 'dangerous' cause her brain caught up with her mouth.
She was being rude making such conclusions, at least in her mind at least. Safe, rude at the end of the day it was all said and done.

Chincha was not one to find anyone rude. He was a friendly male, who didnt even like hunting for fear of hurting something. But he knew he would enjoy it when he was old enough.
"Im not scary!" He giggled, shaking his head.
"You're silly. Im not big. Im very small." He said with a little nod.
He was being rude now, not giving her his name. He shook his head with a little grin. He was a bit bad socially, he only really stayed around his mother. He loved his mother. She was an amazing lioness. He had no idea that one day his social dyslexia would be even worse.
"My name is Chincha'Jibari. What are you called?"

Pilate chuckled, she had forgotten to give her name as well, "Pleasure to meet you," Her head dipped down some in a friendly nod jester, "I'm Pilate," She smiled.
"Nope suppose your not so big... but your bigger then I am." The cub got low to the ground pretending to be littler then she really was in a playful way, "Your taller then a tree from down here~" With that, Pilate rolled onto her back and giggled.
"So what are you doing out here on your own, Chincha?" Her eyes looked up at him completely focused.

She was indeed a playful thing. It made him smile, and he flicked his tail.
"Its good to meet you too!" He said with a purr. He loved meeting new people.. Though he was fearful of strangers. Somehow, he wasnt sure how that added up.
He laughed out loud. "Taller than a tree?"
He rolled over onto his own back in a fit of giggles.
"Well, now you're taller than me!"
He rolled back over, but stayed in his lay down position. His blue eyes glittered as he spoke.
"I went exploring. Momma knows when I should be home. She'll call for me." He said with a happy nod.
"What about you?"

((X" 3 Since this was before her and val were sisters just gonna have her as a wander still in this rp))
"I'm defying the wind." She said plain and simply. "I'm glad I did or I'd never meet a fun new lion," She giggled as well and pawed toward him playfully and rolled on to her tummy.
The thought of family struck a ping of envy in her but she let it go. Being envious of others for a family wasn't something she enjoyed doing. It just caused unwanted heart ache and head aches.
"Exploring huh? Want to go explore with me for a little while?" She stood up and craned her head to the side with a giggle.

Mkay<3 If you want, we can start another with Val and Pilate today, Im free<33]]
The little cub grinned. "I love to explore!" He said jumping up and putting his little rump in the air, his tail swishing in the air.
"Im glad I met you too. I have never met a cheetah who wasnt family before.' He said with a nod. He had cousins who were cheetahs, though he had not met any of them, his mother had told numerous stories about them.
He blinked a bit, he did not know what defying the wind meant, but he simply nodded, and continued to smile. He just couldnt stop smiling, he was just.. Happy.
Not everyday he got to make new friends.

Pilate giggled and jumped about , side to side, pleased. She loved making new friends. She, in truth, had never meet another cheetah either, but she liked all the lions she was meeting.
"Alright," The jumping came to a pause, "Where should we go?" That was the million dollar question. To bad the poor cub had no idea what a million dollars was. Or maybe that was a blessing.
She swatted at him playfully, "I'm not familiar with this area all to well, do you guys have a swimming hole maybe?"
((= D Sure, I'll start a new one))

Chincha listened to her speak, and when she spoke of swimming, he shook his head quite sternly.
"I..I dont swim. You see, I am my mothers protector.. If I drown, well then..Im drownded. Or what if a Crocodile got me!" Instantly he was drawn back to the conversation with the big old male Feleji.
Fel had tried to make him swim, and Chincha had not given in.
"I cannot leave her alone.' He said with a smile.
"BUT." He said with a little mischevious gaze. "I DO know of a game called Hide and Seek!"
Mother had taught him that special game.

Pilate's ears perked up and she smiled. This was a game she was familiar with, and so was wrestling and tag. For a cub who traveled on her own, she knew a lot of games.
"Oh hide and seek! Thats a great game!" The cub almost chirped. Her excitement was hard to keep out of her voice though, truly, she loved to play games. It excited her to find such a willing and friendly playmate.
"And no worries about the swimming thing," In all honesty, Pilate wasn't the strongest swimmer any how. She knew how to, but, she wasn't that great at it.
"Sooo who's it?"
