Tempeste had felt the moment she was away from her pack, she could smell it in the air. The land remained unclaimed in this stretch, until she reached the border of Agua Azul. Her nose twitched as she let the salty air in and she moved upward where the scent grew stronger and stronger. A strange part of her body welcomed the sea breeze and salty tang, another part begged her to forget all this and return home.
She came with purpose though, she came to see for herself the truth. To see if this pack was as corrupt as her family claimed. Most of all she came to see her birth parents, to see for herself what had created her. She allowed a small crack in her normally stoic expression, the slighest glimmer of home that her birth parents were as good and kind as her own mother and father. She wanted to know that the blood and lessons of four strong alpha's ran in her veins. She wanted her birth parents to assure her that they wouldn't dream of attacking her pack.
So many desires, now Tempeste would have a chance to see for herself the circumstances of her unique upbringing. Compared to her siblings perhaps she was the lucky one.

The Wolf had finally seemed to come into his own. After the meeting with Venda, he was nervous and cautious about everything.
He was almost like a leader, trying to make sure everything stayed the way it was supposed to.
That, and with Twists recent post partem depression, he had been forced to kinda take up the slack. A mopey Twist, was no better than the vile one.
But he loved Twist. Somewhere deep in her heart, he knew she loved him too.
After all, they were mated, they ruled a pack, and they had two litters of gorgeous pups..Even if some of them did seem to have major personality disorders.
Venda had spoken about Tempeste, and quite honestly, it made him hate Alas all over again. He missed his daughter.. Not all his children were bad.. Shezaam had become quite the kind wolfess, always ready and willing to help. Running with her heart, much like he had. Only she had ended up with someone who did not need to brainwash her.
Idogbe was a good boy, though he was a bit odd, he was kindhearted and very protective of Za.
His emerald orbs gazed out at the ocean, as he sat upon a rocky cliff, looking out. He was sitting, flicking his tail.
He looked so deep in thought.
"The winds are turning.."
He whispered.

Tempeste inhaled and moved closer, finally she spotted a figure of orange in the distance. She looked down a moment at her own orange paws, she had thought so long they were passed off from cousin Butterfinger's bright coloration. She had found so many ways that her colors could have come from her family, yet it seemed she couldn't continue with such excuses.
She set one paw infront of the other the texture of sand unique against her paws, yet oddly she moved with her usual grace instead of giving in to the sucking sensation of the sand.
Her eyes narrowed on the male and her nose quivered, she might have dismissed the wolf, but she knew she couldn't. This was Agua Azul's alpha male, this was her birth father. Instantly in her mind she compared him with Crunch, for Crunch was the ruler by which she measured all other wolves, her father was who she strived to embody.

Wazaam was so deep in thought, he did not hear nor did he smell Tempeste. He was hurting in his heart. He was full of bitterness and rage, but it was hiding behind a handsome face and a quiet voice.
Then a bird let out a loud call, that made him tilt his head to the tree line, and made him gaze towards the sky.
He smiled, watching it fly, wishing he could fly..Fly fly away.
"Run fast little bird, for if she finds you, you may not be able to run anymore."
He said with a sigh.
Then his head lowered, and his eyes met hers.
His eyes widened, and his breath caught in his throat as he gazed into the eyes that she had gained from him.
"Tempeste.."

For a moment Tempeste was shocked to find herself looking into eyes the same as her own, not the soft blue of her mother, not the dark blue of her father. She couldn't find anyway to deny it, her ears pricked to hear her own name from the soft voice.
"I am Tempeste...you must be Wazaam...You are the Alpha of Agua Azul." Her voice was steady, certain, a reflection of time spent with her stoic aunt Twix.
She moved closer and sat before her birth father, she did not lower her eyes or her muzzle in the way she might have normally for another alpha. Her eyes bore into the ones that seemed identical to her own trying to calm the raging emotions within.

Wazaam could see the turmoil going on behind those eyes. What was she doing here anyway? Surely she did not want to see the failure her blood father had become..
Not that he had ever heard her call him father.. She had been stolen so very young..
"I am Wazaam, Alpha of Aqua Azul."
He said with anod of his head, but his own eyes bore into hers as well.
He noticed the lack of caution that she protrayed when she stared at him so boldly.
She did have Twists determination..
So what if Tempeste had not been raised by them..Deny it all she wanted, she was the blood of their blood.. She had no blood ties to Akiiki..
He would not feel guilty for seeing the good things of Twist in her.
"What have you come for?"
He asked, not demanding, but his voice was strong.

"I have come to see this place for myself, to see if this pack is as torn and corrupted as I have heard. I would not care...except that it seems I am your daughter. I came for that as well, to see the parents that gave me life." She frowned at Wazaam for a moment before continuing.
"My other told me, she explained why and when she took me and adopted me as her own. I cannot deny that it pains me to know that I am not hers in truth. I hope that meeting you and my birth mother will not cause the pain to deepen. I hope that I stand before a strong alpha, one who can tell me in truth that his pack is not torn, that families here can be happy, that no madness runs in the blood born on this shore." She waited her breath soft almost baited with anticipation.

Her voice was so intelligent. She seemed so wise beyond her years.
But unfortunately what she asked for was not what he could tell her.
She was not born of a close pack..
But that didnt mean she had not been loved.
"Tempeste, as much as it pains me.."
He said with a gaze back out towards the water, then back her direction.
"I cannot tell you the pack is not in turmoil.. There is a clashing of minds. Unfortunately, I see a battle.. and its not a good one."
He said with his head still high.
He had nothing to be sorry about..He had been a good father to his chidlren.

"Then my mother spoke true, this pack destroys families. I will ensure that it does not destroy mine, should Agua Azul rise against Akiiki Chibale...I will not hesitate to defend the family that raised me from the family of my blood. You should know that I bear this pack no ill will, and I am open to learning to love those that I was seperated from. Yet I fear that if those raised together cannot even get along, then what chance have I?"
She looked down disapointed to hear that the things whispered about the pack by the sea were true. She had wanted so badly for it all to have been some misunderstanding. Yet now she felt no ill feelings for her mother, at last she had been given a chance to love and be loved in a pack united.

Twist had been stuck with a post-pardum kind of depression. She suspected this might have been caused by Za's newest choice of mate- Chocolate. She and her daughter had finally seamed to reach some understanding...some brief connection. Then like the tide it was to be swept out from under her paws and carried away. She sighed to herself on the way back to the cliffs she had left Wazaam. Who was going to carry on her line if this war went sour? What was the point of it anyway? Was she that mad for power she'd send her family to fight in a useless war? Then again were these signs of an emerging heart? Or was this the depression talking.
She missed having her children around. Idogbe now with his own kids. Hurricane with his own pack and mate. And she did have to admit to herself that aside from her son this entire litter had born huge duds. Her daughter didn't even inherit Wazaam's heart- it was purly all her hate- was she REALLY that evil? She stared at the water as she continued to self evaluate herself. Where was the strong alphass that had stood up to the handsome tirant Chunabog? The b***h that cast out her mates own siblings? And the murderer that would rip out Alas's gullet when the time came?!
Her nose made a slightly weird quirk in the air approching her den. It was Wazaam and one other. One that she hadn't smelled in a long time. Her brow raised with curiosity and her tail rose behind her feeling somewhat smug. She could now finally see her daughter- Tempeste. "So Libenalas finally told you who your real parents were? Or did we just get lucky and happen upon us?"

Wazaam felt a pang of pain in his heart. So Tempeste was dissappointed in him. He could see it in her face.
"I want it to be known, that I loved you more than anything."
He blurted, looking into her eyes.
"Just because I could not raise you, does not mean I was as bad a father as some say.."
He said, with a nod.
But then a scent caught his nose, and he turned to gaze at his mate.
"Twist."
He said with a nod, before looking back to Tempeste.
It was somewhat a warning tone, asking her to at least be civil. This was their daughter, and he knew that Twist's sorrow over losing her could prove the reason for her to be snide.

"Wazaam, I know...I don't doubt your love for any of your children. I just, I was happy with the family that raised me, and I don't want you to think that they deprived me of anything either." Tempeste turned and frowned at the female that approached.
The stormy coat revealed exactly who the alpha female was long before her words came out with such bitterness.
"You must be Twist, my birth mother, the alpha female of Agua Azul. My mother told me the truth, she wanted me to know once I was old enough, and now I am. I came to see for myself the pack, and my birth parents. Yours lands are...beautiful."

Twist took Wazaam's nod to heart, but it still hurt to see her daughter there- raised by Alas the one wolf above all others that she hated. Stolen from her when she was born. "Why thank you. But I must applogise for not being plesent. If your mother has told you about me. You can see why we might have some problems there- but I thank you...my lands are beautiful- like my daughter is."
She stood back and resisted the urge to nuzzle her. Being affectionate to her was like loving Libealas. It was one of those things she could never bring herself too. Instead she nuzzled her mate instead- continuing to stair at Tempeste like she was a ghost risen from the dead. "So what were your plans comming here. I really hope it wasn't because your mother wanted you to spy on us..." She mulled out knowing that Alas must have known she was planning a war.

Wazaam smiled at his daughters words.
"Knowing Alas, she took great care of you. I understand."
He didnt want to intrude on her meeting with her mother. She needed to see that Twist wasnt all bad.. He had fallen in love with her for a reason after all.
He too, wanted to snuggle his daughter since it had been so long. But he resisted the urge, and stayed still, watching the conversation between mother and daughter.
It took alot of courage for Twist to say Mother when not referring to herself with Tempeste, so he gave her a nuzzle as well.

Tempeste frowned and shook her head "No my mother did not send me to spy, she would have rather I remained at home. I came to see the pack and you for myself and make my own judgment."
She remained sitting aloof despite the emotions raging through her. This then was Twist, she seemed a shadow of herself somehow. Her eyes flickered to Wazaam and she nodded softly.
"I was well loved, well cared for, I couldn't have asked for better. My father named me heir to our pack, he loves me as if I were in truth his own. Still I had to see my birth parents." She stood and moved closer to Twist meeting her eyes and trying to see for herself.
It was frightening in some way, within the alpha female she could see some of her own ferocity and emotions.
