As the winds shifted, Kohpi could feel them tugging gently on her fur. It was a pleasant feeling, one she enjoyed. Behind her, Darshana kept pace, ever watchful for the things the lioness missed. It was certainly a pleasant day, one to remember. As she stepped carefully over a log, she stepped right into something that would be memorable

As per always, Haki had a song on his lips. It was turning into something darker lately, though, as he realized his life was missing many things. A home was one, somebody to love him was another. His mind paused on that one. Somebody FEMALE to love him. Jumping over a fallen log, the folliage of the trees around him obscured his view, and thus the rather glaringly white lioness he crashed into. "OOF!"

Tumbling back, Kohpi let out a squeal. When she scrambled up, she found herself staring at a lion she swore she'd seen before. Sniffing the lump of lion, her ears perked. "I've met you before! I just can't remember your name..." As she sat back, Darshana rolled her eyes.

Sitting up, Haki shook his mane out. It had certainly grown... A lot... The deep-brown lion looked over, blinking a few times. When his eyes came back into focus, his ears lifted. "Miss Kohpi! It's me, Haki!" He stopped, looking at himself. "I was a lot smaller when we last met..." MUCH smaller. He was still a juvenile smaller.

"Oh!" A grin lit up her face as she bumped her forehead to his side. "You've grown a lot! Are you still singing?" She wouldn't forget his voice, it was the most wonderful sound she'd ever heard. So good it was, Kohpi had not met another lion that matched his voice.

"Of course I am, I sing every moment I can!" Sitting back, he cleared his throat, considering which song to sing. Not the one he'd been singing... It was too depressing for such a sunny personality of a lioness. "This world is not at ease, we seem to hide the truth, thinking there's only so much we can really do..."

Letting out a happy sound, Kohpi bounced on her paws. "Your singing's as wonderful as I remember it!" Rumbling happily, she butted her head to his shoulder again. When she sat back, something sank in. "Singing... My daughter dreams of singing..." Tilting her head, she considered the idea. "You're the only lion I know who sings.."

He HAD been gone a long time, hadn't he? Kohpi had a daughter... Possibly more cubs than that. Tilting his head, Haki frowned just a bit. "You have a daughter that dreams of singing... Is she a seer?" One of his brothers was a seer. He couldn't remember any visions he'd seen, Haki just remembered his brothers as being quieter than he was. How had that occured, anyway, that he was the loud one?

Nodding proudly, Kohpi turned and motioned. "Come with me to meet her? I'm sure you might get along." The smile she offered was as sweet as that of a cub, unable to be saddened by anything. Without much more chance for him to deliberate, Kohpi turned and jumped back over the log, heading back for the Matembezi lands. Even if Haki didn't follow her, she'd bring Miira out here to meet him!

When the lioness left, Haki considered his options. He was alone, so there was nobody to talk to. He was simply wandering, so he had nowhere to really GO. Besides that, he had... Well, he didn't have much against following her. Standing, he followed after Kohpi. "Okay, I'll meet your daughter!"
