Hey, I am new here so if this has already been addressed, I apologize, but I haven't seen this posted yet~
Well, I had a question about the red tape that spells LIFE across it~ Is there a certain day that Pro-Lifers wear that tape? A special occasions? And have you ever worn the red tape with LIFE on it before? And what kind of remarks did you get?
Sorry for all the questions... ^^; I am curious, though! :]

I don't know but I think there is a special day they do it, it may be in October but don't quote me on that as I'm most likely wrong (I never done it, I don't seem much of a point in it).

I'm a big wimp, so I've never done it. ^_^;; There's definitely a specific day, although I can't remember what it is. Look up "Red Tape Movement" and you should be able to find it on Google.

It's supposed to be October 20th this year, which makes sense because I knew it was October twenty-something. I think the red tape is optional; the main point is just to remain silent, but the tape is a physical reminder and keeps you from forgetting and opening your mouth, literally. ^ ^

Not specifically October 20th. It's the Pro-life day of silent solidarity. The day is the second-to-last tuesday in October... I believe the site it http://silentday.orgEdited - thanks LymeladyI might be wrong, and I hope that's not the GSA day of silence, I can't really check because I'm at burger king right now.

i plan to do it this year which is october 22 i thought?
but i think i might be the only one doing it at my school, and i'm proud.

I did it twice, once with just the tape, once with a shirt with abortion statistics-

Yes its a special day. We do it at my school since i go to a private catholic school with 100 kids. But i havent done it in public...i will this year though! It resembles how the baby cant talk nor defend itself!
