{Intro}ductionLocated in the Northwest tower of Hogwarts, this exclusive ‘Great Common Room’ is shrouded in mystery. Nothing much is known about it, no solid evidence, nothing… until a Year Five girl found an uncompleted essay written on a piece of yellowed and fading parchment stuck in between the pages of a little used History book.
“… the Great Common Room is a room unlike any others in Hogwarts. It is as huge as the Great Hall, if not bigger. It is a room that allows entry of all students, Professors and also the house-elves. It flourished during Tom Riddle’s time on Hogwarts— more and more students knew about its clandestine location and thus appearing there to hang out with students from other houses or the Professors or the House-elves. However, around the time when Tom Riddle took on the alias ‘Lord Voldemort’ and wreaked havoc on the Wizarding World, the Room stopped flourishing. Rife and rivalry was common in between houses, especially between Slytherin and Gryffindor. This led to the downfall and eventual closure of this special Room. It, being a special room, sealed itself and a piece of parchment appeared magically, nailed to its entrance. ‘I’ll open a long, long time after. Once the rife is gone and the rivalry disappeared.’ It is often rumored that…”
Attached to the parchment is a crude and roughly drawn map of Hogwarts, with dark lines circling the Northwest tower. With that piece of evidence, the then Headmaster, Professor Turner and his group of Professors searched high and low for the exclusive Great Common Room. Many months past before their search yielded results. They found the Common Room! However, there is no parchment attached to the entrance and the door gave way easily as Professor Turner pushed it. All the other Professors stumbled through it and spoke of the amazing way in which they could gain entry. “Oh god! This is just like the Fat Lady!” said the Gryffindor Head of House. “Huh? I had to answer a question!” said the Ravenclaw Head of House. “What?! I had to say a password to the Gargoyle!” Professor Turner exclaimed, “Oh my god. So this is the clandestine Common Room! We’ve found it!”
They made an announcement during breakfast the next day and from then on, students, Professors and house-elves alike started appearing in the Common Room…

I need at least one paragraphs of seven lines. Minimum. Please, this is a literate roleplay, even if I didn’t state it anywhere. But it is. Seven lines is pretty much a minimum.
Posts should always be in your house colours. I don’t care. :] This is a HPGoG rule and if you break it, I’m sorry but it’s totally not my fault. Thoughts should be in italics and speech should be bolded. It makes things easier for everyone. (: Font size should be either ten or eleven. No bigger, no smaller. [>Content<]All content to be PG-16. I don't care how, I don't care why. It's in the rules and I want it to be followed. No sexual scenes; I'm fine with kissing, but once it starts to get steamy, just stop, okay? No sex. It's disgusting.
No killing. Who wants to get killed? I sure don't. Minor fighting is allowed, injuries are allowed, but absolutely no killing.
And, please… no god-modding. If someone asked you to, please inform me, or I'll kick you out of this role-play. I'm being perfectly serious. [>Roles<]Applicants have to be students if you’re sorted. However, if you’re not, you have to be a house-elf. For professors, anybody can be one. :] I’m being very fair here. House-elves and students alike can be professors.
