Tyranny was born into a long line of wandering rogues whom praised and worshiped Lyradis, god of darkness and night. He was the new prince of this pride along with his brother Jeuri Akida the very first albino of this long lived pride. His birth, by the elders were taken as a bad omen but the King an Queen would not hear of it. They could never consent to exile of their own flesh and blood and while still so innocent. Naturally Tyranny and Jeuri were competitive towards one another but that did not affect how close the two were. If anything, the two constantly trying to one up each other is what made them so close.

As the two grew older, the personalities became more prominent. Tyranny was more interested in the ladies than he was into learning how to be an effective and reliable ruler. He was a bit arrogant then. Where as Jeuri was the apple of his fathers eye. Never slacking and ever diligent to be the greatest King in history. Yet things grew sour for the family when the oracle had a vision. Jeuri was destined to be on the path of destruction. She foresaw a battle between he and his brother, one where one of them came close to death. From what she could see, Tyranny was the one who came close to dieing and so his parents had no choice. They exiled their albino prince fearing that if he stayed and continued trying so hard for Kingship of the pride all would suffer.

Tyranny concerned of this informed his brother and even questioned his loyalty even though he shouldn't have had to. This very action caused the two to bicker and in a fit of anger that was not only directed towards his brother, but the entire pride, Jeuri left forming a hate for all lions of color. Tyranny on the other hand, stayed behind and in time became King of his wandering pride. With the newly acquired title, he grew to be very mature and during the year of the hunters moon, they came to new lands. It was there that he met Valora. Still having a bit of a hound in him he wanted her. At first it was in a fashion of having a trophy wife...but when she did not throw herself at his paws like so many other females he truly fell for her. He convinced her to join his pride and for a while travel with them, promising that if she did not like it, he would bring her back home.

She took him up on his offer and as her time spent with him grew longer, she came to love him. They eventually were mated making her his queen. Almost a year after Valora birthed him two healthy sons and two daughters one of which was white. Though she was different from all others. She was to be their oracle. She was born blind and with a third eye. On the night of their birth Valora was presented with a vision. Something horrible was to happen and she'd lose two of her cubs because of it. Fearful she informed Tyranny and so he had to make the hard decision of staying put for much longer than he intended. The cubs were still much to long to travel.

Sadly a group of poachers found the pride and took to picking them off one by one. Valora gathered her cubs and hid them away as best she could before rejoining her love and helping him fend off the two leggers. During this time, the youngest male Desero awoke and wandered off oblivious to what was happening. Not even five minutes after he left, a poacher came upon the hiding spot, took not of the albino and decided she would be sold on the black market. The other two were of no importance and so they were killed. Once everything died down Valora came back to the spot she hid her babies and cried out in pain to see two of them slain. First they lost their pride and now her babies. She knew her albino daughter would have been taken away by the poachers and unable to be tracked and almost lost hope.

However the paw prints of a cub caught her eye. Desero was still alive? She and Tyranny began their search for their son. Months passed and soon those months grew into years. The two grew hostile towards one another and chose it was best to split up. Another few years had passed and Tyranny came to find Valora again and was about to apologize and confess his love that never really died for her but she was in love with another. He supported her love for the other male much to his dismay but grew a great hate for him as he watched from afar how he hurt her with his treacherous acts. When Valora learned of the males deeds she ran off heartbroken. He took chase not wanting her to be alone and found her plagued once more by a great evil force she'd had to deal with since cub hood.

It was because of his valor, because of his love for her that she survived the ordeal and the two renewed their vows so to speak. Come halloween night Valora birthed him two daughters. Furia and Devin whose appearance were influence by the hellish night spawned because of Nightmare. Devin unfortunately has acquired her mothers curse and an ancient evil has his eyes for her.

Tyranny and Valora have now turned their attention to rebuilding the once proud pride that had existed previously, and seek out those willing to join them in what will become an battle between brothers. The life will be tough, but the rewards will be many, and the bonds of family and friends are strong.

Below are the various ranks you may choose from when applying to be a member of the pride. If the rank is crossed out, it has been filled.

• King
  
  • The King is the main leader of a pride. Not only does he finalize all decisions, but he patrols the territory and protects the members within. Although prides are usually lead by one male, sometimes a group of males, brothers or friends, will be deemed as Kings.
  
  
• Queen
  
  • Queens play a very important role within the pride. They help lead the pride and keep watch on all the members. While the King is away patrolling, the Queen will take over his duties of protecting pride members. She will sometimes lead the hunt and will also tend to the cubs - her own or not. There is usually only one Queen within a pride.
  
  
• Adviser
  
  • Advisers are usually older and more wise adults, male in gender. They help oversee the King and give advice as needed. Advisers will also witnesses all treaties and alliances. Only one pride member can be an adviser.
  
  
• Shaman
  
  • Whether it be a vicious battle or just an injury from playing too rough, the Shaman will always be on hand to tend to the wounds. This lioness oversees birthing and will try to revive the sick and dying in hopes that they recover. There is only one Shaman in a pride.
  
  
• Royals
  
  • These are the offspring of the King and Queen. They are usually cubs or teens that don't have another role within the pride. Once their father has retired from his duties of being King, his role will be passed on to the oldest son.
  
  
• Hunt Mistress
  
  • This lion must be an adult female. She not only leads the hunt, but plans it forehand and then executes it. There can only be one Hunt Mistress within a pride.
  
  
• Hunters
  
  • Hunters aid the Hunt Mistress during a hunt. They follow her direction, help bring down the prey, and also help bring back the kill to the rest of the pride. In addition to that, they must teach the younger cubs how to hunt. Hunters can only be teens or adults.
  
  
• Lead Warrior
  
  • This male is the second in command to the King. He will fight along side his leader and also direct the rest of the warriors to attack whatever may be invading the pride. The Lead Warrior should be a male and must be an adult.
  
  
• Warriors
  
  • These lions fight along side the King and the Lead Warrior, defending their pride with honor. Although the warriors are usually male, it is not rare for a lioness to help fight. Warriors must be adult or teen in order to be worthy of this duty.
  
  
• Den Sisters
  
  • These lionesses stay close to the pride at all times, helping the Queen with her daily tasks and especially babysitting the cubs. They are also in charge of keeping the den safe and clean for everyone.
  
  
• Scout
  
  • A scout will patrol the lands with or without the King, making sure everything is intact and everyone is safe. A scout will ward off any unwanted guests and keep a sharp lookout for anything out of the ordinary. Scouts must be at least teen or adul tand should be male.
  
  
• Spy
  
  • A spy is similar to a scout in that they patrol the lands with or without the King, making sure everything is intact and everyone is safe. However, they mostly spend their time away from the pride, and doing their best to learn of what Jeuri's next move is, and then inform the King/Queen with the news so that action can be taken immediately before harm befalls the members. They are truly the first line of defense. Any sex can be a spy, however best chosen are those already dead and therefore 'untouchable' in a sense.
  
  
• Pride Brothers and Sisters
  
  • Pride Brothers and Sisters must be able and willing to help out with just about anything at any time. Their job is universal and can change at any moment. This including babysitting, hunting, leaning, fighting, etc. They must be teens or adults.
  
  
• Familiars
  
  • A hornbill or mouse of the King or Queen, a familiar will act as a messenger to the pride. Because of their size and speed, they can oversee other things that a lion may not be able to detect/get to fast enough.
  
  
• Visitors
  
  • Males or females who have friends or family within the Pride. If welcomed by the King and Queen, they may stay for any length of time (unless you become a member, leave, or are kicked out).

Position(s) desired: Hunt Mistress or Den Sister
Why: I feel Tufa would be a good hunt mistress as she was taught to hunt and kill by Jeuri. She is fierce and smart when it comes to bringing down any living thing.
Personality: Tufani has a tough exterior and a soft heart on the inside. Depending on who she faces depends on whether or not she'll treat them with kindness and respect or take out a piece of their hide with the sharpness of her tongue.
Brief Bio: Tufani was taken from her parents as a cub and raised by Jeuri and in a way taught to fear him. She lived as his queen for many years only out of fear of her own life. Not long ago Jeuri attacked and raped her and that was when Tufani had had enough and ran away in the night.

Why: I want Kombo and Kosea both to know combat so they'll be able to face their father someday.
Personality: Kombo is mean and that practically describes him. The only respect he gives is to his mother because she demands it not because he wants to. He's vicious and rough in play and takes every play fight seriously.
Brief Bio: Kombo was born to Jeuri and Tufani. He knows not of his father as his mother ran before he was born all he knows is the cruel stories that his mother tells that leaves hate in his heart for his father.

Why: I want Kosea and Kombo both to know combat so they'll be able to face their father someday
Personality: Kosea is sneaky and secretive. If she feels someone doesn't need to know he doings then she'll refuse to tell them. She can be very mean if she does not like someone in particular and when it comes to pain she enjoys giving and recieveing it.
Brief Bio: Kosea was born to Jeuri and Tufani. She knows not of her father as her mother ran before she was born all she knows is the cruel stories that her mother tells that leaves hate in her heart for her father.

Position(s) desired: Spy
Why: For the simple fact he's a ghost, and knows the inner workings of Jeuri's pride..he'll know what to watch for, and what information is important. That, and he has a loyalty to Tufani, his old Queen, and has vowed to protect her and her cubs from harm.
Personality: Mischevious by nature, he's also very pure-hearted and means no one harm, except for those that purposefully harm others.
Brief Bio: Originally, he was a rogue, enticed by Jeuri into joining his pride as a warrior (or so he thought), finding out the truth was that he was only wanted because if he bred with the females of the pride, he'd be able to produce more white cubs for Jeuri's twisted plans against colored lions. Sickened, Koi escaped and his once cyan markings that had been placed on him by the mages of the pride turning to a glowing red to signify him as a traitor to his pride and thus marking him to be killed. During this time, he finds and falls in love with a beautiful (yet niave) lioness named Nebula who was a Guardian from the stars made mortal. Their short time together was wonderful, but over all to soon when he got word that Titania was on his tail. Knowing she'd kill his mate and newborn daughter if she found them, he set up a distraction allowing them to escape, and gave up his life to protect their secret. Since then, he made decision to remain upon the lands instead of continuing into the next life so that he could put a stop to Jeuri's plans, continue protecting his old mate and daughter who've since moved on with their lives without knowing his fate, all in hopes of being able to make a difference now that he couldn't do when he was alive.

Why: Because it is his rightful position, this being his family's pride that he's once more rebuilding from scratch.
Personality: Gruff and stern, quick to anger, he seems very intimidating at first glance, but deep inside he's more like a father and cares for all the members in his pride. He's unafraid to do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals.

Personality: Aloof and Intuitive
Brief Bio: Desero awoke as a kit unaware of the battle that was going on between poachers and his pride and wandered off. He was found and raised by Reid, though a part of him always yearned to find his parents and one day with the help of Venya who is now his mate, he found them.

Personality: Viciously loyal
Brief Bio: Devin was born to Valora and Tyranny on a cursed night. She was an undead thanks to her older sister Furia killing her within the womb and being brought back by an ancient evil. She can see ones fate and has accepted the dark one that is her own.

Brief Bio: Valora lost her first litter due to some poachers, split with Tyranny for a time, found her son Desero, fell in love with a sand demon whom broker her heart, rekindled her love with Tyranny, birthed him two daughters on a cursed night and aided him in reforming they pride they lost so long ago.

Why: Well she IS a Seer and she DID help Des find his parents...>.>..XD
Personality: Venya is a bit of a mother and a dreamer. She can't stand to see anyone hurt. She likes to put others before herself, especially cubs and the elderly. Her first priority is Desero's happiness as well as her new "parents", Valora and Tyranny. She would be best described as a martyr.
Brief Bio: Her pride was attacked by warring humans working with poachers at the dead of night. Surprised by the attack, Venya’s family had no time to react therefore, losing many. The cub’s mother sacrificed herself to save Venya. With the words “live free and never forget” still in her mind, she is determined to follow her mother’s words and avenge her pride’s memory. As Venya matured, she acquired special abilities that caused her to “see events” before they happen. Something like visions, what she calls “mind pictures.” To her, they are confusing, but can come out true most of the time. Now that she’s been training herself, she can see full events without fainting, but it takes vast amounts of energy.
Extra Notes: Whenever she uses her "powers" to see "visions", vasts amount of energy is used on her part draining her life force. She'll lose this ability if she is pregnant, but only for the duration of the pregnancy.
