So I was at another site and they were posting creeps they found there so I figured I would check out what is in my area. eek Some of these people....anywhere, lets say I can see why these people are single.One guy even said he would not post his picture because woman are shallow and only care about looks but meantions he does not want any ugly chicks messaging him.What do you guys think about Craigs List personals?Ever checked out your own area?

Oh, and a 62 year old man is offering to pay $500 a week for any young lady around her twenties or younger as longer as they are "of age" if anyone is interested burning_eyes

lol no I haven't ever checked out craig's list for personal's I'm having enough problems keeping my neighbor under control ... Hell he asked MY 20 yr old daughter to marry him O_o and he's older than i am...

I don't care much about age, but that seems like a really weird personal ad.
Not that I can say much... I'm 28 and I still wish for someone around her 20s. If I don't find anything permanent, I doubt that will change once I reach my 40s... or 60s... But I do hope to have someone aging with me instead. =p

I always wonder when people get old and start dating old people their age(like my grandpa who is in his early 80s and has a mid 70s girlfriend) does their standards go down or does taste change over time where if you are old other old woman start looking more attractive.

A buddy of mine just learned about Craig's List. I mean as in like last week. I havent been on it since Ive been in the military, had no idea it grew so big. Last time I was on it was shortly after they started and just covered the SF bay area (where they started). I think they just added a couple of new cities to the list at the time.

Although, I always see women complain about men wanting younger women, but I also see a LOT of women wanting older men.

Last time a checked (few months ago) the craiglist personals were scary for my area. Craiglist would not be my online choice for posting a personal add ever. It seems most there are only looking for sexual encounters.

I was just reading in the paper there is a city thats suing craigslist. They say that it provides too easy of access to prostitution and other things.

Well that is true, I seen on a episode of cop's a 16 yr old girl was selling her self on craig's list since its not moderated. She ran away from her family and started prostituting, well that is after her family found out she was inviting them to their house, then she ran away.

Don't know about jobs. I have heard that some people are successful.
I was reading in the news today that there was a post in North Carolina:
8month old baby; free to loving home. I'll have to try to find the article. It was a hoax though, so don't go thinking there's someone that bad of a parent out there (there are some that bad, but this wasn't one)

Craigs list started out as a really good website especially for posting employment opportunities... now its just a smut sheet.

Me and my husband post adds in the personals on Craigslist and we get allot of weird people replying and some normal ones, its just like anything online, you just got to weed through them to get to the good stuff 4laugh
