Every time she glanced over at Theros, Mischa growled under her breath. Cela had snickered once or twice but she watched Sam's limo pull around the corner.
Asmodeus found as much amusement in it as he simply watched from the side. Theros was irritating her because of his color choice and he knew it, and even if by accident, that was what made this situation rather fun. Both at one another and he sitting back to simply watch the show.
His eyes watched her closely for a moment, then he turned to Cela. "So what is this Sam like, Cela?" Theros grinned. "Is she pretty?"
Cela turned to stare at him. "Not your type, Theros. She's intelligent." Breaking into laughter, she waited as the limo pulled up in front of them. It should not take more than ten minutes or so to get to the casino. Mischa had said the night was on her, though Cela was feeling a bit guilty about that.
A frown still on her face, Mi waited. Maybe he would find some girl there and stay away from them all night. No. She could not get that lucky. Asmo would be nearby and so would Theros. Mi doubted she was going to have any fun at all now.

Samual relaxed in the back of the limo, truthfully she usually hated such things feeling more at home driving a jeep through some dangerous terrain but after the trip to the Arctic she felt like allowing herself some indulgence. Seere had declined to come along though he had noted that he would be keeping an eye on her. She wasn't sure how she felt about the whole eye thing but considering the source she wasn't surprised, there was no point in being embarrassed or self-conscious either because he'd likely seen her in all states already.
Her normal wear had been switched out for something much more elegant and flattering for the evening. The dress was a deep ebony with a mandarin neckline, it was sleeveless and backless cut short exposing long athletic legs. An embroidered gold dragon decorated the garment the beast wrapping completely around the dress. Her thick boots had been traded in for a pair of elegant black dress shoes that lacked halfway up her calf; they were Italian with a name that Sam couldn't pronounce but they looked good she had a feeling they'd hurt like hell by the end of the night though. Her hair had been smoothed down, and the braids and various charms were removed for the evening instead now it was swept up and back in a French knot. Her make up was understated and accented her features well, if she hadn't put it on herself someone that knew how to apply it had done it for her.
The dress didn't leave much to the imagination but at the base of her back did hang somewhat, Sam had taken full advantage of this. If the spa had taught her anything it had been that no matter where you were you needed to be armed. A small gun was nestled in the small of her back, the folds hiding it just so, unless someone was attempting to be too friendly it was unlikely anyone would find it.
The driver pulled the limo up to the curbside, Sam so far had no problems with him but didn't like that the limo had been rented, there just hadn't been enough time to arrange a private car she'd have to hope that things went smoothly with this driver.
The driver got out and inclined his head to Mi and her group opening the door of the limo for them. Sam smiled and leaned out waving them to join her on the soft gray colored seats.
"Come on in, one of the local services but seems good enough." Sam quirked a brow slightly looking from Mi to Theros, "coincidence? I take it this is Theros?" Her lip twitched slightly catching Mi's mood nodding slightly to Theros before sliding over in the limo to allow the group in.

Mischa muttered under her breath. Cela nearly broke into laughter but choked it back enough to explain to Sam while Theros simply smirked. "Yes. Coincidence. Though I think they make a good couple."
Turning to glare at her friend, Mi's eyes narrowed. "Keep it up, Cela, and I won't be going at all." Then she glanced away.
Theros laughed, shrugging. "Yes, I'm Theros. You must be Sam. It's nice to meet you. I went with what looked good on me. Not what went with Mischa. No time to change now so we will deal with it." He sat down beside her as Cela sat beside Mischa.
"The limo can easily be remedied. I plan to make sure that Mischa has a private car for her own use from this point on. It will be safer for her and anyone with her that way." Theros stated leaning back to watch Sam a moment. Cela had been right. Sam was not exactly his type though he imagined she was not all she appeared to be either, but far more dangerous.

Smiling slightly Sam gave Cela a wink with a chuckle glancing to Mi, "oh your going, we already have you in the car. Want a drink?" She gestured toward the built in refrigerator in the car, "I had Alex stock it before I left so I know the wine is at least decent." There were some things she would and wouldn't tolerate and one of the things she would not tolerate was bad wine; she hardly ever drank so when she did decide to Sam made sure that whatever she was drinking was worth it.
At Theros statement about his clothing Sam grinned wickedly and glanced to Mischa, "you know I hear that they have male dancers off the side at one of the bars where we are going tonight. I bet we could get him something to change into if you like."
Glancing over the limo Sam shrugged, "just a bit too far away from home to bother with my car and truthfully as of late, I find it much more secure to drive myself."

Asmo had followed them outside. He would find his own way there. He glanced in, caught Mi's eye and winked and then laughed when her eyes narrowed in annoyance at him. Then he vanished. Briefly he wondered if he should find someone and walk into the casino another way, just to distract them from her should it be necessary. He could still manipulate the gambling as he saw fit, but if caught whatever poor fellow he had selected would take the brunt. The mortal's life mattered little to him so long as he accomplished what he needed to do. Perhaps he would.
Mischa shook her head. "I don't drink. At least I haven't had anything in the last two years." A faint memory flickered through of a party she and Jeffrey had gone to when dating. Gritting her teeth, she shoved it away. She did not need the memories of a man who had treated her like crap. He had never liked her drinking. "On second thought, I will. That sounds like a good idea. The clothes I mean."
Theros folded his arms and then smirked, his voice silky. "I'm here to please you, Mischa, if a private party is what you want."
She turned to stare at him as Cela coughed nearly choking at the challenge from him. Biting her lip, she glanced from one to the other.
"You wish. Wait for it." Mischa retorted, then turned her attention back to Sam and away from the annoying male in their group. "I like your dress. It suits you."
Leaning back with a glass of wine, Theros smiled all the more. He was beginning to understand why Asmodeus had chosen her. The girl was no summoner but she had a fire that smoldered and waited to be released. The thought of doing that himself crossed his mind, but also the thought of displeasing his prince was prevalent. That he had done in minor ways before but this would not be minor. Perhaps he'd just watch awhile and see what happened. Either way it would be fun.
