Feros looked upon his pack land, it was night and the stars shined. The moons light, and the foggy night gave an eerie glow. He knew in his heart it was time to go...to leave the rain of terror pack. If he should come back was not certain, but he was leaving. He was almost a teen and he felt bounded by chains here, it was a hard life here and it taught him much, his alpha taught him much and helped turn his heart into ice. His golden eyes squinted at the trees, oh how the shadows spoke to him, and told him he needed to leave, to find his old friends. Adolfo, his dear friend adolfo always told him to turn to the shadows if he wished to find him, and this he would do. Feros padded to the end of the trees and looked back. He looked at where his alpha was and waited for him to come out, he knew he would show. Feros was scared slightly but knew that his alpha had expected this, in time he would know...

Chernabog watched the younger wolf from the darkness, his ruby eyes narrowed and his normal smirk was gone. The pup that had once showed promise was not what Chernabog had hoped for, had the male not chosen to leave he would have been banished. As it was he decided to take advantage of Feros departure to teach a lesson, and spread the word.

He moved quietly and quickly murmuring to Valdis and Liriel to follow him as he moved down to face the young male. "Feros, leaving so soon? Your lifes lessons have barely begun...." He spoke with a soft growl, a warning now that he had been displeased.

User Image Valdis wasn't paying the least bit of attention towards the idiots she had some how come to be a pack mate of. All the wolves she had loved to hunt and well rip to pieces seemed to be gathering in this pack and for some reason she just didn't test Chernabog in eating the other members of his court unless they came to her and started to bother her first.

The hellish pelted wolfess looked up from her bored absent minded chewing of her ripped leg skin and swept to her feet in a deadly accurate show of her swiftness. Cunning would come later, as she could hear an underlying tone which was mainly the reason for her to stand up and obey the command to follow.

The red eye and blue eye (though less obvious with out the pupil) fixed upon the young crimson and black teen who stood proudly near the edge of trees.

Soft-skull's words and tone tickled the instinct of which she knew this would lead into and a menacing smirk sprang to her tattered maw as Valdis moved to stand just off to the Lord of the Reign's right.

Dark ears pricked with morbid interest at her alpha's call, and she eagerly picked herself up and slid from her darkened den to see the object of her alpha's displeasure.

Lessons, eh? Her lips curled back into a feral, fanged smirk as her gaze fixated on the young male, just barely out of puppyhood. It mattered not to her what age this pup was, but she sensed that some tough discipline needed dishing out, and she was more than eager to help.

Hungry eyes fixed now upon her beloved alpha as she came to stand by his side, slightly behind his shoulder, waiting for her orders as she fixated on the little male, pearly white fangs glimmering promisingly.

Feros almost a teen now turned to face his alpha, he immediately lowered his head and tail, and even dipped his head in respect. "I must, Adolfo is calling me as I have called to him sir, the shadows have gripped every inch of my heart here and I am proud to say it is as black as the night. You have taught me well sir, but with respect you know my time has come, I wish not to make it permanent...but what is left of my heart is being called upon. I have no harm against your pack, and I wish to return when I am strong and have felt the pain of a loner, to feel the terror of madness and to see death, I feel I will not grow strong here but must leave so I can come back one day" he said as he looked at his alpha with all respect, no pride in him, only hope of leaving unmarked. He looked at Valdis and Liriel, he never knew them well, thus his alpha must have called them to hurt him, but he just put his gaze down. He was not afraid of death for he would go to a dark place anyways, was death as bad as his life now? he had seen many death's here, he had felt his first love die when he was a child, he had felt the grip of loneliness as he was raised alone...no one was his family no one as close as his alpha. "Alpha I have been so cocky and foolish but I now know what it is to taste death to see and hear it, the blood cries of the loners as there throats get ripped out. I have felt pain as deep as a sea, and I know I must embrace it, live it, and learn it...As once many times the shadows have called me forth, and I cannot do anything but follow this time...no matter what happens as I leave I will not regret being raised here under such power and fear" he said as he sighed from being done and only looked at his alpha, his lord who taught him how to kill, how to hate, and how to make other fear. His heart had frozen like water on the mountains and his red crimson eyes bled out pain, his future was all he had left. He red and black pelt half blending with the shadows the night had brung, and his heart tightened with sorrow, he was leaving everything behind for an uncertain future.

Chernabog snarled his eyes narrowing with instant displeasure, he too had come across Adolfo and his sweet little family. It still angered the alpha that the shaman who controlled the shadows with such ease would not feel honored and welcomed into the Reign. Someday he would find a way to lure the shadow master's mate or children into the pack, they would all make perfect additions to the court.

"The shadow walker will teach you NOTHING of pain, or death...he wields a great power...yet he does not use it to it's full potential. You deny your pack for his teachings..." Chernabog snarled softly before calming and raising his head.

"I will show you Feros, pain and death...and you will show the shadow walker. Show him what happens to those who abandon the true darkness, tell him of what you found in our shadows. Do you see my ladies? Valdis is my best warrior, forged of blood and wickedness. Liriel is my ferocious night walker touched with a special gift of rage. And you Feros, remain and you could be a warrior forged in the same way..." The alpha males eyes narrowed dangerously, no matter what the young wolf chose, he would loose this evening.

The hellish hound didn't have to look to know that the purple wolfess had also came at the call of the alpha, the sound of her soft paws on the rocks were enough to alert the sensitive ears to the other female's arrival. At least the silver wolfess wasn't here, the blood and breaking of bones didn't seem to be her style, but that just meant more for her...and this new female.

Her eyes were scaling the little male up. He was absolutely puny to what she wished to eat the marrow of, but he would do. At the whelp's long winded first half, Valdis snorted displeased at his boring chatter.

Did this pup figure he could lull the inevitable to sleep? Or maybe make her bleed out? If he was hoping for either, he was in a rude awakening. Valdis let out a low snarl, if this pup left and lived with the lesson he was to take from her and Liriel, as Soft-Skull deemed the purple one, he would not come back welcomed.

"You talk too much, whelp." Valdis growled, under the words of the King. Her eyes rolled and looking towards the masked purple female, Valdis lifted a bloody brow. Was the other getting as bored as she was after, 'I must' whine?

Rolling her head back to look at the yapper, she couldn't help but cut into what the alpha was saying about being forged into a fine warrior.

"You think your heart is black? I've ate squirrels that didn't chatter this much, actually packs that didn't carry so many words on their tongues." She moved forward, muscles demanding the movement after the long winded speeches. "You say you've tasted death." She laughed dryly, "You don't even know what real death is or tastes like, pip-squeak."

Valdis snapped her jaws in his direction, more just for a scare considering she was still too far from him to actually bite, the white fangs still held the coat of blood they had received from her bored gnawing on her own leg. "You don't know pain at all." She growled approaching the crimson and black youth with stalker like steps and slowing fading bloody paw prints from at least her front right leg.

This was the reason why Valdis didn't socialize with the others of the Reign of Terror except for the king of the land, she would find them too long winded and have been most likely stuck with listening to the King figuring out a means of punishment for her. But the fact she didn't socialize kept her unusual 'skill' more quiet, except for maybe anyone that the Lord himself had told do to his personal experience with her.

"How big of a piece?" she snarled through her bared fangs, impatiently ready to start the lesson, back towards the alpha as to the amount of flesh she (and Liriel) should leave on the bones of the runt, unpleased with the factor of letting such a young morsel leave with his life.

Valdis was unaware of where Liriel was exactly as her single pupil didn't leave Feros as she awaited the answer to her single most important question.

Feros looked at his alpha, it was obvious he wanted adolfo to join but adolfo knew he refused. "He may not teach me death or pain, but he will teach me the ways of his shadows, the way of the night to learn some of his own techniques" he said to him. "I will bare his grand kids as I have seen from the caves of the hooded alpha" feros said sensing something of a dark idea pop into his head 'why not give his kids up to his alpha one day to be in this pack...and learn what pain is like he had' feros shook his head hoping no one got that idea.

Feros listened to his alpha's words of the message "You have showed me enough that I can handle, I have lost my parents, i have lost my best friend, I lost everyone I love and joined here only to feel more pain! does this not pleasure you lord? seeing me suffer to the point I am no longer alive, kill me if you wish but I am already dead...if I am to see adolfo one day I will tell him of your half mutilated warrior, and your dark Liriel...but it will not make him think of how great your group is, adolfo may walk and live with the shadows but his heart is pure" he said defending his long friend.

He listened to his alpha of being a great warrior "I seek more then a life of pain, something I shall not escape from tonight, I will deliver your message if I make it, but here I cannot stay, I have seen my future and I tend to follow it, no matter what, I know you tend to not let me live easy here a decision with no options" he said as his head snapped to valdis.

"Pain, you think just cause I am small I have not felt pain, my life was created for pain, I doubt I'll leave here without feeling pain, but I will not fear you no matter what, you try to scare me with your words but your just another wolf to make my life even worse, I accepted that when I joined this pack, and you valdis are just another soul I looked on as something I never wanna become" He snarled at her knowing he would pay for his words. He thought suddenly, he knew what he did was wrong, not cause he feared her. But because a friend told him to always keep his heart clean and don't let them feel your pain for they feed off it. He had a sudden burst of anger at the female who judged him. He hated being judged.

His claws however dug into the earth as he glared at valdis. His nostrils flared and his lips curled back. His spine bristled giving him a flame in the night like appearance. His frame not badly sized for a pup, he had muscles under his thick long fur. He continued to look at the bleeding 'thing'.

"The shadow walker may be pure, but I will have his family within this pack! You think that there is only goodness within them, but you will soon see, the shadows are much darker then their master." Chernabog nodded at Liriel to move down towards Feros, to Valdis he did not yet signal for her ferocity was such that he would not be able to finish his words before she would fall on the young male.

"You have chosen Feros! You are banished from these lands, stripped of any right to enter the court, should you return it will be seeking death for to us you are as one dead. Valdis, Liriel, escort the little lightseeker into the brightest of lights." He nodded at Valdis with a soft murmur.

"If you take him down, you can have him all...but do not cross our borders." Ruby eyes narrowed to watch the chase. Which of his fierce femme fatales had more passion to her bite? The cries of pain would tell him the answer.

Edit:
Liriel rolled her eyes at the little male's speech. Never in her life had she heard such a long stream of words from a target before she managed to silence them. This young one would learn not to waste his words with her, for that's indeed what she saw them as..a useless waste of air.

A wide smirk of delight played across her maw as she heard the one named Valdis begin her judgement. She flicked her eyes upward to look to her alpha with an expression of pure enjoyment. Her voice was low, but her pleasure was made quite clear. "I like her.."

With that, Liriel took her own turn to slide closer to the male, pacing judgingly around him in a circle, growling and taking light nips at his tail and shanks to spook him.

Her eyes only narrowed at the pup's heated outburst, and her hackles rose daringly as she stared him down, waiting for her dear alpha's command. Liriel swore she could see the deception in this little male, the front that he was putting up. She could feel the hate in is words, and she would have torn his tongue from his maw had she no self control.

Her ears pricked with wicked interest at her alpha's words, and she lurched eagerly for the pup, snapping viciously at his heels with a hateful snarl that completely threw off her delicate appearance, muscles bunched for the chase as she barked venemous words to spur the pup onward. "Run, little whelp! Flee before my fangs find that lily heart and stain it with blood!" She flashed Valdis a feral grin that seemed to suggest the question 'Would you like a wing, or a leg?', before she sped off after the male.

The little whelp had continued to roll words off his tongue. Why did she wait for anything from the Lord of RoT? She never waited for anything, and that was when she saw the purple wolf circling the little morsel. She didn't hear the continued drone of the pup his hate filled words falling on deaf ears, she was listening to what exactly the lesson was to be from the alpha and his words only would slip through her blind craving of flesh, but in the midst of her itching impatience growing, the whelp hunkered down and started to bare his teeth at her.

Oh he looked like a little lynx to her with that look. Young fur standing on end as he bristled up, the left eye could see a blurry face of the masked one. Valdis quickly looked back at Feros with the verdict of the Alpha.

He could be dinner if she caught him before the border. She'd have to stop when the newer RoT member did, after all Valdis had never cared to learn the borders, she took whatever she wanted from whomever she wanted and sometimes, most often, she took that someone as well. She had no respect or care about anyone's feeling and that was what made her the warrior she was.

Her teeth had never faltered in view and they wouldn't for hours after the lesson to be taught, whether she and Liriel took the pup down or if he got away that snarl was going to be there for a while. The warrior's paws swept across the terrain without any caution of the sharp rocks in the grass beneath her paws, or the fact that someone else was on the hunt with her, the only look she would pass to Liriel was, 'Just kill the little pip-squeak'

The sound of her own teeth snapping together and hitting nothing but air was disappointing. She lengthened her strides and easily was next to Feros, swinging her head to the side, she directed a sharp blow straight towards his side. Should her teeth connect, he would miss fur and some flesh the moment her head snapped brutally away, something must have happened, because her mouth had the sweet and favorable rustic taste of blood in her mouth.

((It wouldn't matter to Val, she'd take either. xD))

Feros turned and ran as Liriel gained after him his paws thudding hard as he pressed on, he would be outrun so he would have to think. His thoughts were pushed away as he felt a sharp tear not he tip of his tail as Valdis's teeth grazed slightly, he tripped to the side which only helped him edge closer to the river which he would cross to make it to the border.

He shut his eyes taking the largest stride he could, they threw him off balance as he swayed from side to side which only helped him dodge the vicious snaps from behind. 'Help me Adolfo' his head screamed into the night, he would have to use his head to escape with a few injuries.

He shot a quick glance back to see Valdis on his heals, and blood dripping from his tail, it would heal but it would only drive his chasers crazy. He pushed on swerving under a low fallen tree and even squishing between two huge boulders that the other two would have to climb or go around.

It would by him some time...but how much time? he looked ahead and knew he was edging closer to the border, he just might make it.

Chernabog waited with patience on the jagged rock that covered the main den. His eyes were closed and is ears lifted in concentration he wanted to hear the snap of fang and the crack of bone. He longed for the sound his heart thrumming in anticipation, he should have gone after the whelp himself but he needed to give his ladies a chance.

His legs trembled with restless energy, it was the same pent up energy that had allowed him to take down entire packs alone. A task that would have been impossible normally was made possible by the sudden rushes that overcame him. Still his last such raging moment across the meadows to the east had been hard on him, there had been more then he had anticipated, but the challenge was part of the fun after all. He opened his eyes and narrowed them into the tight knit dark forests waiting.

Valdis' eye turned to track the little vermin as he tripped away from her. She could smell where the blood had come from him, but it seemed more came from the side of her already tattered maw.

Lurching forward Valdis let out a growl, "To the river huh?" Sharp rocks littered the river side, could this pup have more adrenaline to help him by pass those jagged teeth before her shot nerves ran through them like soft grass on normal paws. How would she feel if this rat got to the border before she chewed through his thick head?

Well...angry, but she was always angry and well...nothing else, would she care if Ol' Soft-Skull roared in rage for the failure of the kill? Probably not even flinch, hell, she would accept more grotesque tears into her pelt, maybe one day her marrow, would give out and she would just fail to keep her eyes open. Those were the thoughts that normal wolves would have passing through their mind in a matter of failing.

Valdis though, never was normal, and she was trailing the scent of the young ones blood even as he ran and was getting to the rocks. She no longer had one ear on the purple female, she was allowed to return to the pack lands, this black and red male, however wasn't and so Valdis wanted his meat.
