Barton Town, Gaia- Ever since the arrival of the Animated, reports of property damage have skyrocketed. The Barton Regulars have released that vandalism reports have increased by 263%.

"Before these monsters showed up everything was pretty calm," says Lt. Clara, "A couple of taggers here, people destroying some n00bish threads in the forum, you know. But now... the property damage is just TOO much. The city doesn't have enough gold to pay for all the expenses."

Barton residents may be shocked to learn that about 80% of this damage is NOT caused by the Animated, but in fact by residents themselves.

Here are just a few reports on the long list received just this week!

Zen Gardens- Katsumi has filed a lawsuit (of all things) against 5 anonymous new gaia users who mistakenly destroyed several of the Garden's lantern racks. She also claims that the water in several of the small ponds around the garden have been polluted by what appears to be used ring canisters and batteries, but the issue is still being looked into.

Bass'ken Lake- The Bartonian Tree-huggers Association is likewise filing a lawsuit against several popular zOMG clans (that would also like to remain anonymous) for miscellaneous damages done throughout the forest and surrounding areas. These reports mostly consist of the destruction or over one hundred trash cans and recycling bins scattered throughout the south side of the lake. About a half dozen trees will also need to be replanted do to an accident with a Fire Rain ring.

The BTA is also debating whether or not users who have attacked Carrion Flower Fluffs are liable to be sued for reckless endangerment and willful destruction of an endangered species.

The Barton Guard has responded to the claim saying that, "The [BTA] has no basis in [filing such a claim]. The Animated are monsters, not animals you [CENSORED] tree huggers."

The City and County of Barton is also looking for leads in a vandalism case involving the sewer lids in many areas being broken into.
