The Electric Field!
The field is completely flat; no bumps or hills can be located. Standing at the four corners and at the exact center of the field on each side are six electrical towers that stand at six feet in height. These create a static discharge across the field and in the air itself for one reason: a metal piping that outlines the edges of the field floats several feet above the towers themselves, held up by the discharge. During the battle, the piping can release lightning at random points on the field due to the amount of buildup them possess. This ensures that your pokemon stay moving during throughout the entire battle.This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ELECTRIC type attacks.

Sienna was filled with nervous excitement as she took her spot on her trainer box. Her first assistant battle! This was going to be tough, but with Frey's training and Luna's Ram there to help they might just make it. She stood and waited for the challenger to appear on the trainer box across the bleak electric field. Frey might have a bit of a problem with the electric field, but Ram would probably be okay.

Renekai skipped onto the field. Ah, electic. Well, that wasn't good for Sienna's pidgeotto, Frey! Renekai suppressed a confident smile. She had to get that badge!
In her hand, two minimized pokeballs wiggled a little with excitement. This would be Faye's very first battle, but Anima was used to it by now.

"Hmmm..." said Renekai, wondering who should go first. At last, she switched one pokeball from her left hand to her right and pressed the button to enlarge it. "Let's go, Faye!" she called, pressing the button again to release the beam of red light.
Faye blinked his mismatched eyes as the light of the electricity almost blinded him. He swished his tail and floated around, giggling. He was a shiny mew, extremely rare, but just then he just wanted to play. As one of the generators sparked dangerously in the corner, Faye laughed and clapped at the show.
"Faye, this is a battle, remember what we practiced?" Renekai said. She hoped that it wouldn't be too difficult to get Faye to battle; it was important that he did. She grinned. A mew! She had one! And this was his first fight.

Sienna cooed out an 'aww!' at the adorable mew. He was so cute! But she would have to defeat him, Luna probably wouldn't be very happy if she lost just because of how cute a little mew was. Decisions decisions...Sienna made hers quick and tossed out Frey's camouflage pokeball. "Let's go Frey!" The trainer called out her pidgeotto. Either way he was going to get hit with some electric attacks, that was for sure. But Frey knew plenty of Dark attacks and some bug, too so he wouldn't be too bad off.
The pidgeotto appeared on the cackling electric field in a flash of red light. He immediately deadpanned in his head 'The electric field again? And another Mew!? Ugh. Is this lady trying to get me killed?'
"Ottooo!" He groaned at his trainer.
Sienna snickered "Come on Frey, have some confidence!"

Renekai bit her lip. She would have preferred Faye to fight Ram, but it was just as well. Faye might have gotten scared from the scary rock face... Anyway... "Faye, use Thundershock, please!"
Faye giggled madly, waving at Frey. Ooh, birdy! Then he heard the command. Wiggling in the air and pausing in his giggles, Faye caused the electricity that was around him to direct itself at the bird. Faye seemed to think it was a game and smiled innocently at his new "friend".

"Fall towards the floor and dodge!"
Frey's eye twitched as he quickly dodged the bolts of lighting by falling towards the floor as his trainer suggested, and pulled up in the air before he got too close. Not only was it a Mew, it was bubbly too! For some reason the bird was in a negative mood and this positive Mew wasn't helping it.
Sienna considered her next move quietly. They could try Feather Dance, but it would probably end in a status battle. That was never fun. It seemed like this battle would be mostly more damaging attacks. "Thief!" The trainer commanded.
Frey shot forward in the air towards the Mew. He then banked slightly and stretched out his talons to swipe at Faye.

"Try it again, Faye!" Renekai shouted.
Faye, who had been giggling as Frey sped towards him, suddenly stopped and fell several feet. That had... Hurt! Big tears filled his pink and purple eyes. He sniffed and suppressed a little sob, running a paw over the spot that Frey had hit. ".... Mew..." he said, about to burst into tears.
"Come on, Faye... It's okay..." Renekai said soothingly. "Just make the pretty electricity for Renny, okay?" she said in a baby voice.
Faye nodded bravely, rubbed the tears from his face, and fired another bolt.

The pidgeotto was promptly zapped by the bolt of electricity. Dodging lighting was hard stuff. He shook it off as quick as he could, singed feathers drifted down to the floor and disappeared with a sizzle While he was feeling little sympathy for the baby Mew, he trainer was.
Sienna had to coach herself over the pangs of guilt she felt from hurting the Mew. 'Itsabattleapologizelater!' The trainer squeezed her eyes shut and gave another command "Thief again!"
The pidgeotto rolled his green eyes. His trainer was pathetic when it came to cute things. Nonetheless, the pidgeotto flew high this time, so instead of a direct on attack he would aim to scratch the Mew from the air.

Faye had watched fearfully as Frey started flying at him again. He did NOT want another boo-boo! Faye teleported out of the way and appeared again at the other side of the field, close to Sienna. He turned around and gave her a shy smile, a tiny laugh escaping him.
"Introductions can wait!" Renekai called in exasperation. "Thunderbolt!"
Faye faced the owwy bird once more and sent a crackling javelin of light at him.

Frey blinked and the Mew was gone. 'Wha- Oh. Teleportation.' The pidgeotto regained his bearing quickly and found the Mew close to Sienna's trainer box. He fell through the air once more to dodge the bolt. His eye twitched again as he saw how his trainer was reacting.
Sienna's face burst into a smile of joy. Faye was so cute! She waved back quickly at the Mew. She grinned before her mind returned to the battle. 'Okay.' She told herself. 'Focus, Sienna, focus!' "...Sorry, little guy." She whispered quietly to the Mew.
"Mirror Move!"
The Mew was slowly getting on his nerves, distracting his trainer like that. Not that he was jealous. Frey just needed his trainer to concentrate!
The pidgeotto mirrored Faye's last move and directed the dancing sparks of electricity from the field into a bolt that shot towards the Mew, aiming to paralyze him.

"Mew?!" Faye squeaked, putting up a light blue bubble around himself. The electricity was deflected by the force field. Still in his bubble, Faye turned around slowly to gaze at Sienna with his big, big, sad kitten eyes.
"Faye... Don't try to guilt trip people..." Renekai said, knowing exactly what Faye was up to. "Just use Thunderbolt again!"
Faye put his force field down and turned sadly away from Sienna. He fired another crackling yellow beam at Frey.

The pidgeotto was zapped once more by the bolt of lighting. His luck with all these electric attacks probably wasn't going to get much better at this rate.

Faye almost really did cry that time. He had thought that it had hurt the first time. But this was a BIG boo-boo! "M-mew..." he whimpered, lower lip trembling and big tears gooshing out.
"Hang in there..." Renekai said, her own eyes not exactly dry at the sight of such a sad mew. "Thunderbolt!"
Wishing that he could hug Frey instead, Faye fired another bolt.
