The town square is in, well the center of town just as you'd expect it to be. It's a large cobbled square with a fountain in the center. There are benches all along the sides and trees line the outside. This is where most events are held, and people come to meet and greet each other when they have free time.

Toby had just gone for a nice long walk this beautiful day.
He reached the little cobble stoned square and smiled.
Sitting down he pulled his rucksack around and pulled out a sandwich he had made especially for his walk.
He watched the fountain as he ate his sandwich - Chicken, Lettuce and Mayo - and smiled as the water trickled out of Kalista's hands and out of the sprites ears.

Lilah, having just finished her milk deliveries would pull her cart through the town square on her way back to her ranch. She'd pause at the fountain not quite noticing Tobias, but merely wanting to cool off after all the hard work of pulling a cart without the help of a horse. She'd walk over after placing her car down and take off her bandana to dip it in the cool water and then tie it back around her head, sighing in relief as the cool water trickled down her forehead and hair. She'd suddenly notice Tobias and jump slightly.
"OH! I didn't see you there! I'm sorry!" She'd say and then wave.

Tobias looked up when he realised he was being spoken to.
A girl was standing there, her face and hear soaked, standing next a cart.
"Oh hello there," He said giving a small wave back.
"I didnt realise I even had company!" He exclaimed, re-wrapping his sandwich, then putting it in his bag.
"Do you need a hand with that cart?" He offered politely, hoping she wouldnt be offended or anything like that.

Lilah would smile and wipe her face dry of the water.
"Nah! I'll just take a quick little break and then bring this back to the ranch." She'd say with a nod of her head. She'd sit down on the cool stone of the fountain for a minute with a heavy sigh of relief.
"Urh.... Can't wait till my little foal grows up. Dragging that cart around is gonna kill me one of these days." She'd say as she'd crack her shoulders.

"Alright" He said with a smile.
"But why on Earth would you agree to pull around such a heavy cart without a fully grown horse?" He asked, a little perplexed.
He looked at her and grinned, then asked "Would you like half of my sandwich? You look like you could use something to eat."
He pulled the sandwich out of his bag and held it out to her.

"Well... I sell the milk from my ranch through a delivery service! I had a horse up until a few months ago, but she was getting older so I didn't want to make her pull the cart anymore." Lilah would say with a nod as she'd look at the Sandwhich.
"Really? Thank you! Heh.... forgot to pack my lunch today." She'd say with a bit of a sheepish smile.
"But yeah, Like I was saying. I ordered a new horse, but they had a mix up and sent me a Horse that is a bit too young to ride yet. She'd say as she'd let out a sigh.
"He'll be ready in a couple of months, and I'm getting him ready. Till then I'm stuck with the cart." She'd say with a bit of a laugh.

"Goodness." He said passing her the sandwich.
"Thats no good for you, but if your horse is old, its old, right."
He looked at the cart then at the girl.
"oh how rude of me, I just realised that I havent introduced myself yet."
He grinned and bowed a little.
"My name is Tobias, but you can call me Toby. I live on Farblegone farm, just at the edge of the hills."

Lilah would take a bite out the sandwich and then try to speak right after as he introduced himself. She'd quickly realize her mouth was full of sandwich, and swallow.
"M'name is Lilah... there's really no making a nickname for that short. I live on the White-Horn Ranch." She'd say with a bit of a bow.
"Just on the outskirts of town. I sell all the livestock supplies." She'd say with a smile.

Toby smiled.
"Great, so I shall have to come to you when I get my livestock. My parents only wanted to raise chickens, but now that Im older I decided I want to raise some cows, and maybe some sheep."

"Ah! Cows are great! I love having them. Sheep are a pleasure too." She'd say with a wide smile.
"They all have such individual personalities." She'd say with a firm nod. She'd smirk.
"Like I can't go a day without my little black sheep getting herself caught up in something. She's worth all the trouble though. Such a sweet little thing." She'd say as she'd finish eating the sandwich and stand up.
"It's really worth it to keep em around. They're good money and they really liven up your farm. I couldn't imagine doing just crops."

"Phew..." Mei sighed as she wiped her forehead with the edge of her sleeve. She had been sweeping the shrine grounds for a couple of hours. Now not even a speck of dust lay on the stone floor. She leaned against her bamboo broom, feeling quite accomplished. Of course, there was always the rest of town to keep unsoiled. Not that she minded, though. She enjoyed cleaning. She approached the entrance to the center of town with broom in hand, not quite noticing the people over yonder, and continued her cleaning at a steady pace.

"I enjoy tending to my crops, but they dont offer much in the way of company." He chuckled at his comment and stretched his arms out.

Mei kept her head down as she swept, moving to and fro from one end of the square to the other. As she moved along she bumped into something behind her. "Oops..." She turned around to see what she hit, when she realized it was a gent stretching his arms out. "Ah, sorry..." Mei bowed her head quickly in apology.

"Oh my!" Tobias exclaimed, spinning around so fast he had made himself dizzy.
"Im so sorry miss. Are you okay?" He asked, ignoring the fact the town seemed to be spinning.
After a moment he didnt feel so dizzy and he looked at the girl properly and smiled.
"My name is Toby." He said with a grin, "And this here is Lilah. I dont know if you guys have met or not."
