Aurora Dawn's ProfileClick For My Journal Likes: Getting all the attention. Sneeking out, and doing her own thing. Cat napping durring the day. Chasing her friend. A good roll on the carpet. Dislikes: Baths, being told what to do, dirt, and boredom. Personality: She thinks she is queen of the litter, top of the game. She'll strike a pose, and expect a bow. Fun loving, carefree, and wears her heart on her shoulder. Proud, and never grudging. Gets along with just about anyone, except filth. She will start a fight if she thinks she's right, but generally in the end will admit when she's wrong. Other: She is a Wishling. Simply put she was born from a Gaian Item, and has evolved into the state she is in now. In the future when a bond between Ceres and her has blossomed she'll have one last evolution (Anthro stage)!

It was Ceres' turn to sit the box. Both girls found it to be a slow, and uneventful job.
Ceres had come home from her visit with Ero. She sat the box down on the counter, and turned around, facing the kitchen. It was luch time. Ayisha, Masika, and the twins and droped by; as well as Perian, and Kitty. Each one as they entered the kitchen patted the gift box, each excited about a new sister.
The girls each helped in setting up the table, leaving Ceres to attend to the cooking.
"Mother..." Kitty, the youngest spoke up. "Mother, will it be time soon?"
Perian shook her head. "I don't think so. I mean you know some baby's take FOREVER."
Ceres chuckled. "Human babes take 9 months, and that isn't forever. Earth Elephants take even longer..."
Wide eyed Kitty looked from Perian to Ceres. "So, too is that a long time." Kitty crossed her arms being stuborn.
Ayisha cut in. "Your acting kiddy like again Kitty."
Masika, sat there keeping the twins occupied as she waited. She didn't feel that it was nessary to cut in amongst siblings.
Kitty couldn't help herself, blushed, she looked to Ayisha. "Just because I'm a teen doesn't mean I have to act it." She plopped into a chair sending ruffles through her skirt.
Perian stared at the box in hopes of soon rather than later.
Ceres gave a tsk, tsk. "Now girls no arguing. Besides lets stuff our faces with dinner, and not words." With the word, words she sat the cooked food down.

Ceres was in front of her transport mirror, Gift Box in hand about ready to go visit Ero. It was Ero's turn to sit the box.
Just before Ceres was about to touch the mirror the Gift Box shook. Ceres looked down to the pink box with blue ribbon. The ribbon did appear looser than normal with the lid slightly ajar.
"I'd better hurry. I am sure Ero wouldn't want to miss your arrival." Ceres said with a smile. "My children will just have to wait to see you on your next visit." On the word visit Ceres touched the glassed.
Ceres ever tell many people of her form of transportation, she just normally showed up. From one mirror, to the next it was much like humans described in the Harry Potter books from fireplace to fire place, just cleaner.
Ero was prompt to greet her upon arrival. "Morning Ceres."
"Morning Ero." Ceres said excitedly. "I have good news." She un-tucked the Gift Box from under her arm. It wiggled and shook in Ceres' hands. Ceres could barely hold it. "I think Aurora Dawn is ready to be unwrapped!"
Ero's eyes went wide, and grinned. "May I open her?"
"Of course. Honors all yours!" Ceres giggled, and set the Gift Box onto the table.
Ero excitedly undid the ribbon and lifted the lid; careful every second not to harm what was in side. However, when they both looked into the box all they saw was a black buttom.
Ero looked to Ceres, and said almost in tears. "I... I think we opened it too soon."
"Couldn't be too soon. I mean it was just so lively a second ago." Ceres herself was about in tears.
They sat nervous and stared at the Gift Box for what seemed like an hour. When suddenly with a pop a Nightmare Headband appeared from out of the box. The girls squealed in excitement. It sent Aurora right back into the box shaking.
"Ceres I think we scared it." Ero said with a nervous giggle.
Ceres nodded. "I must be off Ero. I hope Aurora Dawn is a good little Head Band." Ceres smiled.
"I'm going to keep the Box and put some bedding in it." Ero smiled, as Ceres turned to leave.
"Sounds good, she seems to like her box." Ceres smiled, touching the glass, she vanished.

It had been several days, and right on time Ceres had stepped through the portal. Ero had Aurora's box in hand. However, getting her to stay in the box was a difficult task. Seldom did she act like a headband. Instead she seemed most delighted to fly carelessly around the room. Occassionly she smacked into a near by wall or window.
"Come now Aurora it is time to come visit with me." Ceres said softly as Aurora grunted, and strugled.
"I think we'll have our hands full." Ero said to Ceres with a smile.
They both managed to get her into her box, with the lid shut when all of a sudden a thud was hurd from inside.
"You know if we open it we'll be another hour or so trying to catch her." Ero said with a sigh.
Ceres sighed as well, and frowned. "But if we don't have a look... Come now, just a peek."
Ceres sat the box onto the floor. Ero kept her self at the ready as Ceres lifted part of the lid. To their suprise there was no flittering of wings; all was silent. Ero moved her hands, and pulled the lid off the rest of the way, and out jumped a furry black cat with wings.
Together in suprised voices... "Aurora!"

Ero had taken a small vacation, which left Ceres to have a lot of time with Aurora. It didn't bother her or her family, as she was apart of it. Also Ceres' other children loved having Aurora around. However, some days nothing they seemed to do kept her occupied enough. Ceres had, had enough? She went into town; Aurora with her.
"Aurora today is your lucky day! We are going to find you a friend." Ceres said excited.
Aurora on the other hand seemed skeptical. "A friend?"
"Yes, a friend!" Ceres smiled.
"But, I have siblings isn't that enough." Aurora had jumped from the arms of Ceres and stopped in the middle of the walkway.
Ceres bent down, and petted Aurora. "Some times your siblings want there alone time. And, most of the time you don't. It isn't anything person, just everyone needs space. So, since you like to keep busy we are getting you a friend. A friend who will keep you company when your siblings cannot."
Aurora still puzzled by this, but non-the less still willing to try it out. "Can I return it, if I don't like it?"
Ceres laughed softly picking Aurora up. "I'm afraid you cannot. A friend is a commitment. They are something close like a sibling. I am sure in time you'll even feel as if this friend will be a part of the family."
Aurora nodded, and cuddled into the arms of Ceres. Once at the shop, Aurora hopped down. In the back corner was a Gift Box, just like hers. However, this one still danced. Aurora found great interest in it. And soon it became her friend.
Ceres quickly paid for it, and returned home. Ceres didn't understand the amusement, but was happy that she was happy.

It was bath day, and to say the least it was Aurora's least favorite day. Even if considered a child, she still acted (and looked) much like a cat in this stage. Being a cat ment she prefered to take a lick bath, but Ceres always instisted.
"Aurora Dawn, come on sweety." Ceres said in her nicest most lying voice possible.
It triggered almost instantly in Aurora Dawn's mind what that voice ment; it ment bath day. "No way!" With those harsh words, Aurora Dawn skittered under the bed.
Ceres called for Aurora (other daughter), and in almost no time they had pried her from her safety spot. "Thank You" Ceres smiled to Aurora.
"No problem." Aurora Smiled. "You know Aurora if you'd just stop struggling wtih it you'd find out that baths arn't that bad. I myself didn't use to like them." With that Aurora left.
Ceres carried Aurora Dawn to the bath, and after a bit of a struggled managed a bath. "See not that bad."
Aurora Dawn pounted. "Make friend bath!" She exclaimed.
"How shall I bath your gift box?" Ceres asked.
"I don't care just do it!" Aurora Dawn said sulkily, and then ran off to find a warm dry spot to dry.
Ceres shouted out, going to get her friend. "I'll try!"
Once Ceres had found the box, she just whispered. "Let's pretend." With a shiver the box agreed.
Few minutes later they where playing, and Ceres had gone about to do other things for the house.

Aurora lept from her bed, soft velvet paws soundless on the carpet. She crept past each bedroom, even Ceres' undetected.
"Freedom, almost there..." she thought.
The pet door creaked, with a deep breath she waited.
"All Clear..." she thought.
Out side she bounded for it, past the stables, and onto the gate.
Then it happened, Sky stamped his hooves. He had gone unnoticed to her, until that point.
She looked up innocently. "May I help you?" She purred, and kneeded the ground nervously.
Sky snorted his hooves. "It's half past midnight. Where do you think your going? In a hurry at that!" He looked down on Aurora in a scolding stare.
"I..." Aurora paused a moment. She hadn't really put much thought into where she was going; she just wanted to go.
Sky stamped a hoove impatiently. "Keeping secrets?"
Again she gave an inocent looked, still kneeding the ground. "No, not really. I just hadn't really thought as to where I was going... I just wanted to go." Aurora looked around, her tail fell between her leggs, her bat like wings layed back. "I guess I'm out of luck now though..."
She sighed, thinking. "And I was so close too."
"You've got an hour that I'll pretend didn't happen." Sky paused a moment, almost looking friendly. Then with a straight face, he said. "Back at this gate by then, or I'll let your mother know."
Aurora lept up onto the fence post, planted a nice lick on his cheek, with a purr she was off again. "Thank You so much!"
Sky snorted and shook his head.
Aurora paused when she came to the feild remembering Ceres had never taken her past that gate. Excitment rushed through her like icy water, and then as if bricks rained from the skys as well it struck her she had no watch. "Surely he wouldn't be that mean... I mean he was sooo nice." She thought.
She didn't let this stop her for long though, and was quickly back in the groove. She found many leeping, and flying bugs in the field. However, she was sure there must be something more to this island and was quickly poking her nose in and out of tree trunks, and ground holes.
Finding nothing she resumed her play, she was happy enough to just be out. The breeze was nice, and she never strayed from the field. She figured she could save it for another day. Time passed quickly, and hoping that she hadn't missed her time limit she dash back for the gate.
At the gate she noticed Sky was heading for the house, she meowed as loud as possible.
Sky turned his head, and looked. With a nod, he snorted "You'd better hurry, she's stirring."
Aurora nodded, and made a dash for the house. "One in the morning, what's the mater?" She paused, still thinking. "Must be egg checking, surely she'll not check on us as well..." She thought.
As she passed by Sky, she thanked him again, and didn't push her luck to linger. Sky seemed to understand though.
Risking the main door was a bad idea, instead she lept onto the barel and climbed into her window. Aurora cuddled into the sheets just in time.
Ceres HAD decided to make her rounds, but didn't linger long.
As soon as the door shut Aurora let out a sigh, and was soon fast asleep.

"Aurora Breakfast." Ceres called.
Aurora awoke that morning not feeling all there; the midnight runs were starting to get to her. What was worse was that she suspected mother knew since she all of a sudden stopped letting Aurora cat nap durring the day.
"Aurora Breakfast." Ceres called again.
Aurora muttered. "I'm comming." With a streatch, and a leap off the bed she headed to the kitchen
Ceres did not turn to greet Aurora, but in a low voice giving the sense of something the matter. "Morning sweety. Did you sleep well? The other girls have already gotten breakfast. I let you sleep in a bit this morning."
Aurora's ears flattened, and with a semi noticable gulp asked. "What time is?"
"About half past nine." Ceres replied, and sat breakfast on the table. "Is there something you'd like to tell me."
Aurora's feeling of the worst had come to full light, but she tried to hide the look. "No." She knew it wouldn't work this time. I mean after all she'd been asking every morning since the first outting.
Ceres shook her head. "All you had to do was ask. I could have shown you the entire island. Then I wouldn't have been up half the night worring over you." Ceres paused, and then added. "I just thought with your size and all, and seeing as the wings on your back don't allow you flight that you were safer in the confines of the farm."
Aurora's ears if possible flatted even lower, even her wings, and tail folded. "I'm really sorry mother."
Ceres smiled soflty. "Please don't lie to me again. You should have learned by now that Sky tells me everything."
Aurora felt a sudden rush of anger towards Sky. She thought, "He lied to me. I was never late."
Ceres noticed the look, and added. "He mentioned to me a couple nights ago that you were out. Promised a certain time, and wasn't back yet. He was worried is all. But then some ten minutes later you showed up. He let me know you were okay, but neither of us went along with the fact that you were late."
"So he had only told once." She thought, and with that the anger seemed to go away. "He was only thinking the best for me." Her brain was on a roll of thoughts as she poked at her breakfast.
"I'll leave you alone to finish your breakfast, and think over this morning and those last few evenings. If you wish my assistance let me know. Since I guess I cannot keep you from sneeking out." Ceres sighed and left the room.
The last bit hit Aurora harder than the rest of the converstation it seemed. She finished her breakfast slowly. A bit down, she still managed to magic the kitchen clean.
Shortly afterwords to she headed out to find mom. She after all ahw would be better off with a tour guide then guessing the island. Not to metnion she hadn't intented to make her mother feel so bad.
