 Welcome to the main den of Silver Lined Shadows. This thread is for the general RP of the pride; for those who wish to just interact with other lions without any real cause to make your own RP thread. Because this is an IC thread, please do not start OOC conversations, and remember that the general RP rules apply.

_________‡The plateau is a large rock structure that marks the middle of the pride.
_________‡The main den is a large cavern in the side of the plateau
_________‡A majority of the pride is desert, less than half being savanna
_________‡There are a few clumps of greenery around the pride, living plants in the savanna, and dead in the desert
_________‡Atop the plateau, an area reachable only by those with wings and spirits, are structures that seem like runes, where royalty can sometimes be found

The sun flickered over the horizon. Long shadows were cast form the trees and the shrubs and another, large and encompassing, fell from the base of the plateau. Silent and contemplating, the king looked out over the lands. As he felt the earth shift the slightest amount beneath him, he frowned. Damn Devon, still out. It hadn't been long ago that he had left him out in the forest to talk with the female from his past.
It annoyed him that things hadn't gone as he'd plan.
Still, there was a lot he could do. And from this place, he would do it all.
After giving a slight chuff, Iah turned back towards the den. As he walked towards the dim opening, a second figure padded up beside him.
"Things seem to be running smoothly, father." Lampetie looked from side to side as she followed, falling deep into thought.
"Hnh. One can hope."

Today had been...eventful, to say the least.
Mazin had started the day alone and apathetic, and was about to end it happy and absolutely giddy.
Yep, life seemed to finally be heading in the right direction again.
After she had collected Tabitha and Feldo from the den, she had happily followed Devon back to the pride.....
She had only one thing to say about it.
It definitely wasn't paradise.
"Ha...Iah sure knows how to choose the most depressing spot in the Pride Lands."
Mazin commented stiffly, causing Tabitha to sprout into a fit of giggles. The young cub was extremely excited about this 'fieldtrip', and was even more excited about the fact her mother didn't seem like her normal 'eh' self.
"I think I'm gonna end up starving to death...."
She continued, ushering both her cubs closer to her with her tail. The spirit sniffed softly, and turned to Devon.
"I suppose you need to go talk to Iah now."

Feldo eyed his surroundings with a skeptical look as he kept up closely with his mother and sister. Their glee was infectious, even the shy cub had a small smile on his face, but the landscape was intimidating...and really ugly. He gave Devon a questioning look before glancing back at his mother, bored. After a few moments he began to poke Tabitha slyly, hoping the adults wouldn't notice.
