How to Apply for a Character
Please title the thread with the name of your character, their craft and rank, and if they are a candidate, please also put candidate. Once the character has been approved, the title will be altered to indicate approval.

Rules
1. Just submitting a profile does NOT mean you are approved to RP. You must receive staff approval before you can create IC threads with your character!
2. Fire-lizards are not acceptable pets unless you already have one from the shop. Applications including a firelizard pet without a firelizard cert (holiday ones must apply to be recerted) will not be approved.
3. These threads should be profiles! We discourage having conversations in the profile threads.
4. Please read and fill out the form in full-- you're more likely to be approved that way. Thanks!
5. Please be realistic with your ranks. Age plays strongly into what rank your character is likely to hold, and if they are young enough to be candidates, it is unlikely they will hold very much rank.
6. Mastercraftsman will not Impress. Lord/Lady Holders, or heirs to major Holds will not Impress. Journeymen Impressing will be unusual.
7. Dragon names end in -th. Wher names end in -sk. Flitter names shouldn't end in either- otherwise, go wild!
8. Candidate profiles will be considered for the current clutch up to five days in advance of the set Hatching date- after that, they will be eligible for the next one. They can stand for the current, but will not Impress.
9. For now, the 'abused character that runs away from home' background is prohibited... because we have far, far too many for a relatively peaceful little planet where running away is generally fatal.
10. We have a LOT of shy characters, so they are being discouraged, though still allowed. PLEASE think twice before bringing a shy character. We need more strong-willed candidates to match up to stronger-willed dragons.
Character Traits Requiring Justification in the Profile
- Physical deformities or abnormalities- Candidates with these will NOT Impress.
- Holdless-ness.
- High-ranking parents. (i.e. a Master, a Lord/Lady Holder etc)
Disallowed Character Traits - Exceptions RARE
- Unnatural hair/eye/skin colors.
- Hear all Dragon characters (HADs), Hear all Flitts (HAFs), etc.
