I can't believe this wasn't brought up already. But really, what garment would be complete without some sort of shoe to dress the foot as well?

I found this picture online at the Kyoto Costume Institute.

It's not much, but so far I found a pair of french kid shoes with silk covered wooden buttons.

Yep. I've found often if someone can't afford the fancier shoes to get a pair of slip ons that work well. I've been able to pull them off for quite a few periods save colonial.

I actually saw a real pair of victoriana inspired shoes on Overstock, 45 bucks, i wanted them, but I was broke.

So, their not exactly the same, but their still gorgeous! And as an extra bonus, The people that run the site are AMAZING. Lol I have bought many a shoe and article of clothing from them ^-^
