Niele layed on her side beside a bed of leaves near by the teepee.She started to think about all of her and Aku's differences.He was young,she was old.Mares loved him,Stallions didn't like her.He had more of a chance to finding someone better than she was,she didn't even have 50% chance to being any better.Niele layed on her stomach and layed her head to the ground.Something was happening between her and Akuba.It's something different than most of their times together.What was going to happen to their relationship?
Niele stood and took off running.She bucked around.Heck she didn't know what was happening.He was just acting so different around her.Niele was confused,angered,depressed.Tears flowed from her purple eyes as she kept running.Her man and tail trailed behind her as she ran faster.Her heart was raceing,not even knowing what was going to happen to this special thing she had with him.

Aku did not feel the difference in their relationship.
Although he knew he must act tougher, and not get to passionate about nie's beauty around the children.
Ever week he met mohana the orange mare.
Now their friendship was at a good level.
Niele knew about mohana, but hadn't met her, he knew she was worried about it.
He once said they could meet up, but he found it hard to bring up in his and mohana's conversations and so he didn't.
He couldn't just stop being friends with her either, he tried to reassure niele that everything was okay, but she seemed skeptical and unsure about it.
Akuba was asleep alone in the cave in which his children were born.

Niele was running along until she tripped and landed in a pile of leaves.She whinnied lightly.Her back was hurt.Niele tried to get up and keep running.She didn't know what was going to happened to her.She was in the forest,skinwalkers,kalonas.What was going to happen.She whinnied loudly to see if anyone could hear her.No answer.Niele shook worriedly and her hooves clamped together with a clicking sound."AKUBA!"She snorted and yelled.Maybe he was around.Maybe only one of her ribs was broke.She didn't know.Niele was just...Scared.

Even though he slept, as soon as his name was called he awoke with his ears tuned in on the voice.
He recognized the voice an rushed to his hooves,"Niele."
He rand following the voice to see her on the floor,"what's up?"
He calling had alarmed him.

Niele heard Akuba's hooves clamping agenst the ground.She stayed where she was.She knew he'd find her.Winceing slightly she tried to move,no use.Knowing any of her bones could be broke or she just pulled something.Whinnieing for Akuba she shook worriedly.Niele looking to the little spaces in the trees could see it was going to rain.Noticeing Akuba near by she looked at him."I cannot get up..."She pulled onto his mane lightly and winced.

Aku had never tried to pick up an adult mare before, no doubt it'd be a tough job doing that, whilst trying not to hurt her.
"why,what's wrong? Niele tell me. Your in pain, is it your legs, back, neck, ribs? tell me where the pain is."
Aku blew out of his nostrils inspecting her.
"I wouldn't try and get up is the pain is that great. not yet."

"I had fallen.And I was in a rush."She whiped off her face the guilt in her eyes.She knew he had been seeing another.Niele tried to get up and whinced in pain,she whinnied loudly.Laying back down onto her side she breathed heavy."It is my chest and back.."Niele looked up to him.She seemed to be weak.Niele nuzzled him lightly on the cheek.Niele didn't want to tell him why she was so worried lately.

"Rush? Why were you in a rush? If it was for me I was only alseep",Aku looked along her body.
"Then please down move", he nuzzled her back,niele I care so much about you..."
He was now cantering away,"..I'll be back, don't you worry."
Akuba knew what he had to do, bring the teepee to Niele.

Niele looked at him."please don't leave..."She watched him run off.She layed down on her side and looked at the sky.Niele had never hurt this much before.Dozeing off to relive the pain she started to dream about her teepee and her family.Niele was worrying about Akuba and him not leaving so much she had hurt herself.What was she suppose to tell him.She would tell him soon enough.

Akuba soon came back with supplies, bansha helped him put up and extra teepee that Aku used for travel.
"This'll have to do, I'll build more soon, the foals are with Brian", Akuba looked at her back and sat next to her, putting down hay for her to lay in or eat.
Akuba's smile faded,"talk to me, why were you in a rush? You seem to be everywhere I turn and you are acting so strange."
The big pools of water which he called eyes searched for her gaze.
would she lie or tell him the truth.

Niele looked at them both.There was that familar wolf again.She didn't trust wolves.She stumbled around at the sight of him."Okay.."She looked away from him."just...You said you..."Niele could not say.She knew he'd get upset.Niele was afraid if she told,he'd leave."I just...didn't like the fact that you told me you've been seeing someone else.And you've been telling me how great she is.."Niele tried to stand to run away she only layed back down in pain.

Akuba sighed and flicked back his hair,"I've told you, she's a great friend,
I've had friends that are mare before you know, like Aiane, etcetera."
She doesn't trust me...?
"Niele if you feel uncomfortable with it, I'll stop talking to her."
He looked at her standing up surprised,"don't you'll only hurt yourself more, please niele."
Her assumptions hurt Akuba, because he hadn't intended to mate with the female and hadn't mated or flirted with her anyway.
"She maybe an angeni, but she's too pretty princess, arrogant and royalty and all..."

"No, your always the one for me, there is no way I could lay my eyes on anyone else in that way. You're the only one, and most of the are nut cases."
Akuba looked away, when she said 'please forgive me', a tear rand down his cheek,
"don't ask for forgiveness", he said flatly, never had he spoken to her like that,"I don't need to give you forgiveness, you didn't do anything wrong, it was me, and technically you did have a right to ask..."
Akuba let out a big sigh, puffing out through his mouth.
"...I'm sorry. Do you forgive me?"

Niele looked at him and nodded.Then she noticed a tear.She nuzzled him quietly."I always will."Niele pulled on his mane and noticed the wolf still near by.She started to feel safe,are cared for by these two."Am i something this special to you?Don't believe I am Special at all."
