Oh my god, I saw Jim Walker, only the greatest flutist ever, on Thursday. Also, he is from Kentucky, the same state I'm from. He was playing with our high school's symphonic band. He had American Flute Salute memorized, though it was nearly ten minutes long. Even the amazing solo. He pulled a pennywhistle from his blazer and played a short part in it, then picked up a piccolo on the stage and played a part. This guy was amazing. I ordered a CD of the concert, I'll upload the files somewhere and post them after I get it.
