Tiger Nilla walked through the forest with his orange coat lighting up the woods a bit in the night as he walked through the darkness of it. He didn't have his basket with him since he picked the perfect spot to hide it and knew no one would find it there. He snorted as he climbed through bushes and was poked a bunch of times by the sticks there. "Ugh damn you sticks! D:<" He shouted and tried not to be super loud since he didn't want any predators to find him or anything. Flicking his tail, he proceeded to just trudge through whatever brush he had to cross since he was only trying to go get some water. Shaking his head, he stopped at the pond and bent down licking up some of the water feeling more refreshed now. Turning away from the little pond, he yawned and looked around only hearing silence at first, but then he heard an owl making sounds. He was only scared that he would be attacked more then his fear for the dark. Snorting, he began to walk back to where the basket was hidden and hoped it would be a safe quiet journey back.

Beldam had made her way towards the forest, not in search for a drink but for other reasons. Mostly it was out of boredom; life at the edge of the desert with that overly silent two-legged creature was anything but interesting. And more often than not, the usdia with button for eyes found few things to hold her attention.
Perhaps places with more signs of life would be more interesting.
With this notion in mind, she planned to travel the entire land. Go as far as she could see. Unfortunately, under the veil of night, her eye sight failed her terribly. Her ears flicked as she heard the snapping of twigs. Instinctively she thought of heading away from the sound, in case it was a dangerous creature to be avoided.
But she decided it was unlikely for it to be a real predator as they would have taken far more care in keeping silent. So she headed for the source, though she herself was far from stealthy. Her coat brushed against foliage, rustled leaves and made her own presence very audible. This was fine, it wasn't her intention to catch anyone by surprise.

Tiger flicked his ears some when he heard annoying noises enter them making him stop his tracks a bit. Flicking his tail, he looked around some before catching a glimpse of a body of white shambling through the woods making him follow. "Hello is someone there?" He called out feeling his heart racing a bit since he was a little scared of the dark oddly and this figure seemed like a ghost with how they were moving through the forest. Following slowly, he dipped a little lower and sniffed the air smelling the scent of another, but wasn't sure if this being was it or if they were somewhere else. "If your another Usidia then can you just say you are. I don't need to be killed or anything walking back to my shelter." he called out again to the white being as he lightly stepped after whatever it was.

Beldam whickered softly, amused at the rather direct demand made of her. She was in an accommodating mood and so responded appropriately, "Yes, I'm another Usdia." She stopped in her tracks to allow the approaching figure of stripes and color to get a better glimpse of her and vice versa.
"And it's quite certain you don't require being killed. It's very fortunate that I do not require it as well." She smiled with a tilt of her head. "Do you frequent these parts?" she asked, idly glancing at her dark surroundings.

Tiger looked upen the female feeling a little more at ease that she wasn't some beast in the forest and sat down for a moment to regain his frightened posure. "Yes I normally am in the forest here, but it's mainly because I need to find a good resting spot or place to raise my child." He told her and spoke rather differently to everyone depending on how they acted towards him. "So why do you roam around here at night? Any reason?" He asked her as he stood back up and stretched a little bit with his tail flicking behind himself.

Beldam's ears flickered in interest when the other Usdia mentioned raising his child.
"A foal of your own? How wonderful for you!" she congratulated, her tail swishing behind her. "I roam at night when the weather is more pleasant. The day's glare can be quite harsh." she explains.
"But enough about me, tell me of your foal! You must be quite the proud father."

Tiger looked at the female trying to be as cautious as he could since he didn't like to be completely friendly at first. It was his way of not getting into some kind of trouble. "Yes I have two children actually. Thank you very much." He said trying to sound as happy about it as he could. "Well I don't blame you to be honest. The sun is quite annoying. I myself enjoy sleeping for most of the day so I can be more active during the night." He said and had more of a cat like quality about him. "Oh there isn't much to say really. I love them both to death. I never actually thought I would be a father so soon. I mean me and the mother of them don't really get along too well. It's rather odd." He said nodding and nuzzling his basket a bit.

"Oh I have no qualms with the sun itself unless I'm wandering about," Beldam listened with a smile on her lips, ears flitting every so often in a show of interest. And the conversation certainly took an interesting turn when the other usdia mentioned his situation with the children's mother.
The button-eyed usdia whickered again, "You and your mate don't get along? How curious an arrangement that must be. But do you stay with her and your children? Or has she saddled you with the responsibility of raising your young by yourself?"
