Good idea?
Nah, I'd rather charge in and kill everyone I see.
Yes, teamwork and strategy could be fun!

Of all mini games this is my favorite. The second thing I plan to do when I'm a member again is play it but first I plan on getting a dragon spear and weapon poison There are times when I wish I could use some strategy and bring out the teamwork part of the game but most people prefer to do whatever they want instead of winning (which is fine but the people who weaken their own team as a 'trator' is annoying and I dont know why they do that) and I was wondering if anyone wants to join me in making a real strategy to win more games, I think it could make a big diffrence in a game to plan a bit.

Mini, STFU. I doubt you even read it.

Her thread contained many points of views that can't be classified by one forum... it contain goals, event, tips, discussion, etc.

Eevee, I rarely play mini games and I do understand were you are coming from. I used to play castle wars and I wish people used team work but most of the time this team-work based game is not actually team-work based. People stay at the top by flag, a few try to achieve the flag, and a few defend the base. That is all they know how to do... oh and run. Since there is only a few ways to get to a certain location it is difficult to actually call re-enforcement and get aid in the quickest time possible.

Eevee, not to sound rude but may you edit your post and add more punctuation. I had to read it 3 times to understand what you wanted to say.

Very well, then! I assume the thread was moved, as the main forum does seem more suitable. Back on topic: I'd love to help you make a strategic plan for Castle Wars. In the mean time, I'll run through it a few times and see what I can dig up for us to use.

EDIT: I do know that we would need four specific classifications of players. For this information, I am going to assume that the average group for Castle Wars was 60 players.

Flag Runner- obtains the flag, 'nuff said. This person should have
EXTREMELY high defence to combat the barrage of attacks he might
encounter. Min players needed: 5

Base Protector- this should be the largest group of people. They
protect their own flag. High strength and fast weapons would be perfect
here. Min Players Needed: 25

"The Wave"- this group of people should attempt to infiltrate the
opposing faction's base, making it easier for the Flag Runner to capture
the flag. Min players needed: 20

Scouts- Assuming clan chat would be used, this small group of
players would keep an eye about for opposing "Flag Runners"
and "Waves". Min players needed: 10

You do know this thread was in the "Spam and Games" sub-forum so it was moved here right? Mini was right, it was on the wrong forum, so I think you owe someone an apology. stare

As much as everyone hates them, you should add two more groups.

- Ancienters: Because these days, it's rare to see a Castle Wars game without them. Great for defence, and really good for killing the enemy who has your team's flag. Min Players: 4 (I dont know...usually see around 4 ancienters per team)

- Own-flag carrier: Someone who is high leveled basically tanks with your own team's flag, so that the enemy cannot capture it. Usually is protected. Min players needed: 2

I hate these people in Cwars games...but hey, it's the reality of it these days. You are much more successful playing with them. xp

I also would recommend lowering your min players count. It just seems like a lot. o_o

Castle wars isn't my cup of tea, well, I don't mind popping in from time to time.

On a aside note, she seems new, so don't pick on her already.

Castle Wars is okay I guess. I enjoy playing it with my friends from time to time, usually after lvl up parties and such.

Ill never forget the time Felix, H3X, and I played after the woodcutting party. It was 3v2, sadly H3X was on the other team. sad

Good time though, forgot who won lol

i go to castle wars like once a month. when ever my friends just beg me to come. sweatdrop
but im not saying i hate it, its just the rewards arn't the best ever...
but something that i remember well, was when ever the opposing team got a high enough lvl to have their own flag, they would run around the barracks, with like 6 or more people gaurding him. i wish they could just change castle wars into capture the flag on halo. get rid of those ppl. stressed
but currently i've been loving the evil tree mini game. heart

i just love how the trees tiny little arms try their hardest to swing at you, but they never reach. xd oh and not to mention the ways he trys to bite you. lol so kawaii. poor evil tree. whee

Castle Wars has and always be my favorite mini-game. I used to have the gold/blue kite and still had quite a bit of points - hell I was saving up to get all three pieces for my POH. (I lost the kite - long story
From 70 to 92 ranged, I killed blue dragons, every single bone and hide got sold, very little of that money went to equipment and more arrows/crystal bow charges. Everything else went into...

Runes for ancienting at Castle Wars! XD Ranger/Mage hybrid was ownage back then, before the whole Godsword > All crap.

I'm not a big fan of Castle Wars either (I'm not a big fan of anything PvP), but if we got a group together, I guess I could attend.

I love castle wars so much. I used to play it all the time when I was a member. I was really good at getting into the enemy base and snatching their flag. I usually got about 80% of my teams captures.
