I am a girl, I freaking love saiyuki,
My best friend is a girl, but she hates it.
My little brother loves it.
So I reallly think that it is all about personal preference. However, maybe girls might like it a litttle more than guys, but who can say?

I'm a guy who loves the series - i read the manga for the awesome arties!
But i have a friend who is a girl who thinks its all yaoi and doesn't like it.
Its a cool series, i guess the fanbase is mainly girls cos the guys like sanzo and hakkai are quite attractive looking

I'm a girl with a guy's avi too, but im still considering myself a girl for the poll. Anyway, I think this series was actually targetted toward female fans, but I see a surprising amount of male fans too.
