I see in the guild options you can chose who can send a broadcast to the guild members. Dose that mean we will soon have that ability? I really hope so.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that 'broadcast' is the ability to initiate a guild chat through GIM. I'm not entirely sure though, to be honest. It was one feature they never really explained to us. o_o;

I was hoping this will be a new feature where one can send mass PM's to guild members.

Broadcast is used to communicate with your clan/guild members who are also logged in to GIM.
Log in to GIM and you will see a section for guilds. Note: only users who are online at that time and logged into GIM will see the message. There is no offline storage. The feature is meant primarily for clans use in zOMG (since clans are a close cousin to guilds and share much of the same code).

Wesden_girl has said at some stage that they found the initial framework for this feature in the existing guilds coding, and it was definitely planned to be implemented, but they had no estimate of when it would be released. smile
