I think that Strats are to hard to lug around on stage and are alway's needed to be fixxed.

Well i guess...i can see were your coming from i honestly dont like the sound of strats in heavier music like light rock or they sound awesome in blues.

well my first ever guitar was a fender strat and i still use it six years later, but i agree that it sounds better in certain genres. I think it's one of the lightest guitars I've ever played though, electric wise.

I prefer Gibsons, ESPs and Epiphones. But Fender Strats sound great in some genres. 3nodding
