This is just a simple run-over about how to roleplay. there will be addings of this, so check this a few times to see what might be new. Crew members might also be lending a hand to this post.
So lets start off with a FAQ (frequently asked questions) type of thing;
What is RolePlaying? RolePlaying, RPing for short, is much like creating your own story, but with other people. RPers (roleplayers) both work cooperatively and create one large story of some sort.
Why RP? Well, RPing actually benefits in some ways. one is t being more 'literate'; it helps with your grammar most the time, as well as your thinking skills and creativity. Its also a social benefit, if youre being conductive with other people.
What is needed for a RP? Just a few basics are needed to make a simple or general RPG (roleplay game). These include a Storyline, Rules, and characters. Of course, with more advanced RPs comes more advanced subjects needed, but well start with these first.

I cant think of any good questions at the moment, so im going to explain a few other things.
RPing, although most the time is much literate or advanced, does have small levels to it. not many people actually "stay" on these levels once they are better with things.
For RPing, there is the classic **....
this is a beginning mark of RolePlaying. you might do things like this in Towns, Virtual Hollywood, or Rally, or some other chatty place. People Dont really bother in RPs with these, so you most likely wont see these in the guild unless for a better practice, or in this guide.
People then start to type out a little bit more, and often might come out in simple sentences. People will begin to use First person, or most the time third person.
OR
Very simple, vague, and straight. from the veiws of first person, or third person, its the same, but will have to vary when it depends on the story, or the character veiw you might be playing. Also, notice when the samples speak, "hi", there are no qoutation marks ( " " ). for this level of RPing, having no qoutes is going to be often. That sometimes confuses the other person or reader of the RP.
Also, please note; Most people, when being as we call "illterate" have no signs of proper grammar. the above examples are of proper grammar, so most likely you will see things like so;
No "txt speak", please. that actually tends to be annoying and it really confuses people. thats the last thing we need; more confusion.
So, we moved from simple ** speak to one-sentence RPing. doing something as simple as that makes things a bit bland; straight-forward; boring. to make things more fun and interesting, we like to use a little somethign called Detail. Adding detail makes people think more advanced, and it shows your level of creativity as well.
so instead of
we might get something like
more detailed. It also adds a better point of veiw. instead of stating the obvious, it breaks the statement into little bits, detailing almost every moment that was happening; slowly and surely. It seems hard to put somethign like this. but if youre RPing in first person, or even in third person, think about the whole thing. think about the little things that happen while youre talking, or walking, or doing something of some sort. its not going to be a simple wave and hello. youre going to feel people stare at you. youre going to feel a bit nervous as you make that move in front of that many people. Think of it in bits and parts, then put the parts together.
Ok, so we have a basic as to being a better, more literate RPer; lets try to work on other things, like profiles for characters, storylines, and interacting with other RPers.

I stood up from where i was sitting. i moved my feet one by one, ailently pacing myself as I could feel eyes on my from attention. From what seemed like forever, i finally made myself move to the front og the room, while others sat and watched. i slowly rose my hand to the same leve as my head. i gestured a welcoming, swinging my hand from side to side, waving at the people that were before me. my lips curved at the end, forming a small but sure smile. my teeth felt a gust of air as i took a breath and then spoke quietly.
"hi" was a simple yet straight word that came from me, and i watched quietly, waiting to see what would happen next.
