Looking for someone to play the Narcissa to your Draco? Or maybe the Snape to complete your Snarry? Perhaps even the BFF Luna to your Neville? Would you like to discuss your Sirius's background, detailing his past occupations and relationships? Are you curious about another member's original character, and how they got that scar? Make a Connection is the discussion thread for all these needs and more, helping roleplayers bond and form associations between characters, building families and founding relationships that help develop the Wizarding World character community.
 • Describe your characters' backstories, from their early childhood to their first time in the backseat of a car. • Discuss the relationship aspects between your characters; seek out companion characters from other roleplayers. • Request or offer your characters as family members, lovers, or friends to other members' characters. • Outline character family trees and discuss character cliques. • Discuss the inside jokes and trivia of characters' workplaces or classes that have built up over the (unroleplayed) years.
 • Follow the Terms of Service, Rules and Regulations, and Guild Rules and Regulations. • Please keep in mind that nothing discussed in this thread is set in stone; posts are considered brainstorming. • Members are welcome to change their characters' backstories at any point for any reason. • There is always a risk in threading another member's character into your character's history. Roleplayers may lose interest, become too busy for roleplaying, or quit, which could leave a large hole in your character's backstory. So be cautious and have a back-up plan.

8D A place I can blather specifically on about my characters and their family structure, history, and angst! YES! All without having it scattered across profiles! And to ask that all important question: gonk IS YOUR CHARACTER FRIENDS WITH MINE OR CAN THEY BE AND HAVE THEY EVER SNOGGED IN A DARK CUPBOARD????
O_o
I'd like to start off with requesting a discussion with Janine! Specifically about Molly. I know we played her and Godfrey meeting briefly in Diagon Alley, but I was wondering if they were friends or not?
At the time Godfrey's only got Spica and Josh and Voldy as friends. I was wondering if you think maybe Godfrey just joins Molly and Roxanne on pranking stuff sometimes, if they prank each other, or if there's just a sort of 'association' going on. They might wave or study together in the library. Or there might have only been that one time and then at school they see each other in the halls and stuff but that's it.
Godfrey's a pretty social little bug, so it'd be nice to start working out the last eight months and crazy stuff. 8D He's my main character as well, (HAHAOBVIOUSLY) so I'd like to prod at that.
O_o And I tend to leave Adela alone when I do Harry/Godfrey/Baby/Xeno stuff, because I control the four of them, and I don't want to do things that'll control Adela. So I was wondering if you wanted to discuss Adela and stuff she's been up to, her feelings on things, and the like.
I was kind of thinking Gilderoy has been in St. Mungos since they were 11. And Harry started going out with Xeno about a year ago. And the baby is about 3 1/2 months old.
I think maybe Adela and Godfrey would be closer if the kids didn't go home for weekends. But since they do go home and have more than each other, they might act more casual and maybe sit with each other sometimes, and do homework. But they have their separate lives.
What with me having so much control over pretty much the whole family, I really don't want to dictate more than a little and would like your input. biggrin
That is, unless you don't mind me dictating. biggrin

As long as Godfrey isn't a tattletale and is okay with Molly being reckless and occasionally complaining about her parents, then they can be friends. XD She's friends with a lot of people.
Molly and Roxanne are sort of like, partners in crime. They won't really let anyone else be on the level of friends that they are, but they might indulge some prank info to Godfrey if he was interested in participating.
Uhmmm . . . well I dunno how Adela feels about everything. She's sort of the kind of person who doesn't do well when attention isn't on her (That's why she's always so dramatic--she has low self esteem and needs the attention to be on her to feel valuable), soooo . . . .

Godfrey wouldn't tattle. But if they did something he felt uncomfortable with, or were doing something, he'd just go do something else. And he wouldn't mind her complaining about her parents at all. ^_^ He'd love to be there to listen to her and talk adn stuff.
I was kind of thinking it might be a kind of casual 'Hang out sometimes' kind of thing. :B Godfrey's busy a lot so he doesn't have a whole lot of free time. But he'd be up for a rousing round of pranks.
*Hugs Adela*
Well, Harry's been paying more attention to his kids as of late, watching where they go and wanting to know what they're doing, and being a bit overbearing about it. But is willing to spend more time with his kids. Godfrey doesn't really want to though. So Harry'd have a lot of time to do things with ADela.
Harry has work too, and Xeno usually is at the house, taking care of Roddy. Xeno can do his accounting job from home, and he' sort of moved in. Since he was living in an apartment before. :B
Xeno's really wispy and casual though, and always wears white. He'd sort of be more like a ghost around the house.

Random Information~
Virgo's little brother is Dame. Their mother could no longer care for little Dame, and dropped him off at Virgo's home not long after he'd gotten the job as healer at Hogwarts (since Poppy went to work at St Mungo's.) Which ruined Virgo's happy solitude, but, hey, what can you do?

Question for Kat (even though I could ask her in real life instead lol):
Would Clay get along with Dominique?

Percy, I imagine, is quite affectionate in private, and very devoted. I base this on his actions in Chamber of Secrets, where he spent his summer "shut up in his room" sending letters to Penelope. I've always imagined him as the sort who will be very reserved with a lover, very conservative and business-like, but surprises them behind closed doors with something thoughtful like flowers and a book. He also knows how to have fun with them, though, such as when he and Penny had a bet going on Harry and he pushed past Harry to happily collect his winnings from her. But that is in private as well. He's quite devoted to his job and to maintaining a strong and successful family (I think Crouch's issues spooked him since Crouch was his idol) so he's strict, and probably expects his wife to be the same, but also have the flair of a good tea party host so as to charm their politician guests.

I disappear at the time. :o (HE BETTER HAVE LIKED IT BECAUSE I DID AND I'M LESBIAN JESUS. AND LESBIAN JESUS IS A GOOD JUDGE OF PROM DRESSES.)
I have only ever written Percy in porn. XD And he was being molested by the twins, all "I say, knock it off! Fred! George! I don't find this funny at all -- I -- I fully intend on telling Mum -- I--- *melts*" like since that's what was asked of me. X3
Audrey was one of the only names Rowling brought up that I didn't want to spit on when first reading it. I even like "Albus Severus" now though. X3

(He did like it, but then told me I had too much cleavage, of which I had none, showing and that it needed to be taken in a bit, then I explained to him the wonders of a strapless bra.)
Yay, Percy porn! heart And I think this gives me enough to work on for an Audrey . . . >:3

Yay! ^_^ That will make Percy's family complete!
...Jeez, I haven't been on Lucy in ages. I imagine she and Molly don't spend much time around their father (happily anyway.) Percy reads Lucy a bedtime story, but he's frustrated with Molly I'm sure, with her rule breaking and such. It's scary since he knows now how delicate the bond between family members is -- he saw what happened to Crouch, remembers what he did to Molly and Arthur, and I'm sure Fred's death still stings every day since he blames himself for it.

I think Molly's into those years where she's really anti-parents, even if she does really like them. I think, for now, at least, Molly is more a fun-oriented rule breaker--breaking small rules for pranks. But now she's gotten a little too deep (cue suspenseful music!). She's naturally good at most subjects so she doesn't really see why Perce gets his knickers in a twist over it.
