Septette for the Dead Princess scoring first place at top musical themes was a surprise, but what was most shocking for me was Sanae scoring 4th place at top characters!

Indeed! Since when did the Luigi miko become so popular? In this poll, I would've put her between Cirno and Tenshi as my expectations...

The music didn't surprise me, though. With the recent release of Touhou Sweets!, I think that tune became well-known...

It's good to see Border of Life in second place, though ^^ <-- Personal reasons

Also why is Border of Life in there twice. I am serious it's like Number 2 and then if you scroll down it's like Number 33. What the heck. (I guess maybe one of them refers to Yuyuko's second theme in PCB but still)

Anyway, little comments below:

Number 5 (Satori Maiden ~ Third Eye) I actually wasn't too partial to for a while, but then the Satori EWI came around and I realized, "Damn, why haven't I listened to this song enough before?" Same applies with Number 26 (Green Eyed Jealousy).

Number 16 (Love Coloured Master Spark) is pretty cool but I'm actually more partial to the original Lotus Land Story version (Love Coloured Magic). PC-98 music is actually really great, you know, even if it is old, which is why I was also happy to see Number 32 (Reincarnation) on the list.

Number 21 (Fall of Fall ~ Autumnal Waterfall) was actually one of the first Touhou songs I ever heard (in a way - I mean there was an IOSYS version of it and I loved it so yeah) along with Number 31 (Doll Judgment ~ The Girl Who Played With People's Shapes) and Number 35 (Maiden's Capriccio ~ Dream Battle). I still love all three, although I was kinda left in the dark about where the original tracks came from until someone did a Donations Please music video using Walfas.org's create.swf. That video turned me into a total Touhou junkie.

Number 39 (Beloved Tomboyish Girl) (also it should be 3⑨ not 38 ) was also okay, but the Phantasmagoria of Flower View version (Adventure of the Lovestruck Tomboy) kicks the EoSD version's butt. Ugh. I'm kinda annoyed to see this one down near the bottom. If they were smart like Cirno they'd try to find a way to mess up the results and get this one to be number nine, lol.

On the character poll? Happy to see Yuyuko as Number 10 and Youmu as Number 15. No UFO characters, so that's a bit of a letdown, but only a little.

EDIT: WHAT THE ******** GAIA. WHY DID YOU TURN MY "38 )" INTO A 3 IN FRONT OF A DUDE WITH SUNGLASSES. NOT COOL, YO.

Yeah, they're referring to the final version of Yuyuko's theme, which I honestly find better than the original.
It's just so damn epic.

Srsly.. why is Rinnosuke even on the list =_= Also im suprized Flan didnt score higher. And as much as I love her (flame using tomboys are dreamy) I didnt realize Mokou was so popular..

Really tho, I wonder what ZUN is thinking. Sakuya is still very popular, yet lately shes been pushed aside =_= Touhou needs more knife throwing time stopping maid action *maidmoe*
