The journey had been long and difficult for the Ceyrnei but they had finally made it.Through all the heartache they had arrived in their new home, which had some similar land marks. This both comforted Cheve and dishartend him. For a stag he missed their home very much, there was so much history there. Cheveyo also was anxious about living in this new place, but at least he had travled with friends. That was a great comfort all on it's own.

Kacdaninymila was making herself at home. No matter how much she missed the old forest, the one that seemed to be in ashes now, nothing would change. She'd have to live with it anyways. She couldn't see this as a bad thing, everything did after all, happens for reasons. This was a chance for a new beginning. A new way of life. Weather to continue to follow the Price of their kind, or to move on their own way.
Mila didn't know what to do really. She wanted to see many other's of her kind, but only had ran into a few. She had a small case of amnesia before she ran into one Cerynei named Irena. She brought some of her memory back. Where once for a few days, she thought she was a deer perhaps. She looked like one after all. Aside from her black and orange pelt, and her glowing eyes. They laughed at her, and she couldn't understand why. Things changed once Irena came though.
She knew what she was, and now she knew who she should be looking for. Though, it was almost impossible. Seeing others like her, just they had full sets of hair, and their tail wasn't like hers either. It got her curious, but the better of her stayed clear of them. At least for now anyways.

Reluctantly Chev decided he needed to check out their surroundings better. After all he had helped protect his heard at home from wild animals and the such, he figured he could handle the new creatures that roamed around. Many of his people had gotten seperated in the rushed journey to escape their burning home. Chev wanted to see who had come along and who had stayed...
Cheveyo started out slowly taking in everything he could and commiting it to memory, his ability to remember important things later could mean a great deal. He could help his herd if he knew where fresh feeding grounds were and where to locate drinking water.
Looking up he noticed that he had indeed gone quite far from the other Cerynei he had been with. Cheveyo fought a moment of panick, he wasn't all that ready to be making nice with strange creatures they knew nothing about. Movement caught his eyes and he stopped his internal conversation. Standing in a strong position he could fight from he lowerd his antlerd head and waited.

Kacdaninymila moved towards the other, without realizing who or what she was approaching. Her mind was else where for a moment or two. Then she stopped. Frozen to the spot. What else could she do? All she saw was a massive white and blue body. Though she didn't notice anything else quite yet. Finally went into focus after a few moments of just staring at the other. As if a deer had just noticed a car's headlights coming straight for them.
It only took a few seconds after that to realize it was another one of her kind. With that, she moved elegantly towards him. Her body seemed look as if it was floating as she moved. Though, it was just the way her pelt was. Her orange markings, and orange feet blended well in the dirt below. "hello" She said as if her voice was like the wind, just a little louder. She wasn't too quiet, she just didn't know how to start any type of conversation.

He was ready for anything all his fears were shoved away and locked up, nothing remained but the fierce stag. Cheveyo only got this way when he though he may need to protect the herd. Moments passed, he stood listening and waiting nothing harmful would get passed him. Then a doe stepped out into the open and spoke to him.
Cheve was slightly taken aback he shook his head slightly trying to release the tension. Peeking back at her he took a deep breath and relaxed himself.
"Hello there miss, I didn't expect to see any of our kind out this far yet" he spoke and then chuckled at his sillyness
"You gave me quite a fright" Cheveyo walked up a little closer to her to get her scent and look her over to make sure she hadn't been harmed.

He seemed a little strange, though they had just met. Perhaps he was just over protective of their kind. She smiled kindly at him. "I do apologize for that." She said in response. He was a good mix of blue and white. Out of everyone she met, she still felt like the darkest Cerynei around. She supposed it didn't matter, but perhaps it made her the odd one out of the bunch?
"I'm Kacdaninymila." She spoke. "But you can call me Mila" She told him only because she knew her name was hard to pronounce. She hadn't a clue where she got it from, but knew that was her name. Her tail flicked a bit, as she was excited to see another of her kind. It was good to see more of her kind. It made her feel not alone.

This doe had to be the most interesting doe he had ever seen. She was a very dark color, he didn't doubt she would blend in with the inky darkness that would soon fall over these new and strange lands.
Cheveyo stared as she spoke her name, it was pretty but he doubted he could pronounce it.
"It is very nice to meet you Mila my name is Cheveyo" he dipped his head and antlers to her in greeting. He smiled at her in a friendly manner.
"If you don't mind my asking were you coming from the opposit direction?" he wanted to know if she had been out further and what she had seen if she didn't mind sharing.

Mila had seen much more then she figured she had. She was sure other's had been exploring as much as she. She was curious about the land she was going to live in, though she avoided anyone who didn't look something a bit like herself. She nodded. "Yes, I have a tendency to explore places I will end up living." She spoke with a easy mystic like voice. It was almost like she was whispering, yet it seemed to carry louder then that. "It's good to know about the place you live" she told him to make sure he knew why she ventured off from the others.
Though, she had woken up alone one day. Everything seemed to be different for her, and her past forgotten. Not all regained, but most of it was. Which to her was good enough. "It's quite beautiful." She told him. "Though, there are some things you want to watch out for." She had noticed some nasty looking creatures around with big teeth, and even bigger wings. And their tail didn't look too friendly either. Perhaps she was judging them before she got to know them, but that was her nature. Better be safe then sorry. "They look something like demon creatures. Something out of a story to scare little kids." She told him as she started to tell her warning.
"I've only seen them from a far. But it seems as long as you avoid them, you'll have no problem." Their teeth scared her the most. They looked as if they were meant for ripping the flesh off bones. She wondered if they did eat meat though? She couldn't be totally sure until she saw it for herself. Though, she didn't think she'd want to. Her tail wiggled as she smiled at the other. "It's so nice running into another." She told him. He was so strong looking.

He watched her in awe as she spoke, somehow her voice captivated him even though she hardly spoke above a whisper. Cheve had to slightly shake his head to get his thoughts together, he thought it was very interesting that this doe liked to explore, most he knew would rather not. Cheveyo liked to explore but not as much here because it was so new and strange to him. He mostly did now to get back into a routine to help keep his mind of the loss of their home and to help keep the rest of the Cerynei comfortable. Cheve liked to help however he could.
“I agree it is a great idea to know about your home” he smiled and nodded at the mysterious doe. As Mila continued his face grew solemn and grave while she mentioned the demonic looking creatures. This news troubled him greatly, hopefully these creatures only ate forest animals and not Cerynei, though it troubled him also that they would eat forest creatures.
“Avoiding them is probably the best idea” he spoke softly looking off into the unknown lands he had yet to survey.
“We should probably tell the prince” he nodded firmly still talking to himself out loud then turned with a chuckle to Mila.
“Sorry I think out loud sometimes, it’s nice to meet you as well” he smiled again
“The herd is not far off from here” he told her even though quite a few of their number had gotten lost along the way out of their forest.
