It was cold, flat, and almost seeminly colorless out in the open, and truthfull Faline almost felt as if she was naked standing there. They had finally left the forest and everyone had seperated from one another and now she wasn't sure were the rest of the great herd had fled to. The events that had led up to it were still a little foggy in her mind, she could remember breaking through the edge of the forest into an almost blinding light of the sun, it was strange and overwhelming to embrace something that was usually dimmed out by the canopies. She wasn't sure if she would postively enjoy it or not, but she would continue to remain under it soaking up its radiant heat.
Faline pawed at the half frozen ground before she flattened her ears down and broke into a full run. The flat land allowed her to gain speed that she could never have reached in the forest, however, it was effortless. There was nothing to leap over, nothing to avoid, it was plain, flat and somewhat boring. Faline's heart felt a flutter of sadness before she slowed down to a trot, nothing could replace her home and she knew it, but even most of all, she hated this feeling of empty loneliness.

Kacdaninymila kept telling herself over and over in her head that everything would be ok. It was different in this new world, as she saw it. Were she remembered vast amounts of forested grounds, and a few fields full of grass here and there. But complete fields and hardly any tree cover made her feel uneasy sometimes. Though she had found another forest, not quite like her home she lost and missed. She only remembered bits and pieces of the night that they left.
She had only seen one other of her kind since that night. At first she was beginning to think they all died out. Which saddened her. She even once thought she was a deer, in forgetting what she truly was. She always wondered why the other deer made fun of her, and why she couldn't prance like they did. She was searching for anyone else. Irena was the only other she had run into yet. She truly hoped the other was right. That their kind was only hiding, or trying to find peace and a good place to settle down. She sighed. Her black and orange body stood more out here, then it did anywhere else it seemed.
Anyone could spot her for miles. Her glowing pinkish eyes were upon the little bit of grass she had found. She leaned forward to n** at it here and there. She wasn't too hungry, there was plenty around, she just felt like she should do something other then just stand here this morning. With almost all her hope gone to finding someone.

Faline gave soft sigh before allowing her body to slow down to a slow walk, her bright blue eyes could see an edge of a smaller forest, she shook her head and avoided it, she wouldn't allow herself to go to a place like that yet. Instead she turned her head in another directon and allowed her pace to quicken. She took off in another full run as fast as she could, her slender feet pounding against the half frozen ground the wind whipping around her head. She could hear the wind howling in her ears, it was a strange noise, not displeasant but strange noise. She kept her pace, she didn't want to slow down, she didn't want to quit, she didn't want to lose this moument that she had gain, it was almost as if she was running towards something, but of what she didn't know. She knew though if she kept her body moving she would get somewhere, maybe somewhere differnt, or maybe the same edge of a forest that she had already greeted.
It didn't take long though before a different sight came to the corner of her eye, she could see a figure, dark and four legged. She slowed herself down into a light enough pace of a prancing trot. She couldn't tell what it was, was it one of the soquili's she had heard one of them call themselves, or was it one of her own. She gave out a sound in hopes that it would respond back if it was Cerynei, and if it wasn't she was prepared to run even farther away.

Sound of thunder came to Mila's ears. Though it didn't come from the sky. It was the sound of the ground as if someone was running on it. Mila looked away from what she was grazing on. Her ears went straight up, eyes scanning the area. Though as she did it, the sound disappeared. She couldn't hear the other trot from such far distance away. Her eyes found nothing at first, but then something moving towards her. It looked like a deer.
A smile went to her face, then faded. What if it was a deer instead of what she was thinking it was? She didn't like deer too much. They were horribly rude to her and made fun of her for thinking she was a deer at one point. She watched carefully as the creature came closer. Perhaps it was her own kind? That'd be much better then a deer. Though, she didn't hold her breath on the fact that it probably wasn't her kind. She just watched, not wanting to move towards it just in case.

Faline bright blue eyes remained glued to the dark figure, her ears still perked, the four legged creature didn’t respond back. Maybe it didn’t hear her, allowing her head to look around before slowly heading forward, she allowed her nimble feet to slowly move forward her eyes focused on the four legged beast in front of her, if she allowed herself to slowly move she could understand more of what this thing was. Faline’s body gave a small little shiver, she was a little nervous moving forward to a shape she didn’t know, but she was determined to greet this four legged creature.
“But what if it attacks” a voice crept into Faline’s ears, she shook her head. Maybe it was a risk worth taking or maybe it wasn’t. A small wind crept up and caught the forlocks around her leg , it did the same for the figure in her sight. Faline sniffed the air her ears remained perked, the scent was lightly familiar, like the ancient forest mixed with new. Faline gave another whiffle of noise before creeping forward even more, it was a Cerynei, a doe black with a hint of almost light orange. Faline gave another whiffle of noise towards her, she didn’t want to spook her like she had been before by others.

Mila's eyes never left the other as it crept closer. Surely it had to be someone of her own. She'd watched some other's in this land. Most didn't seem nearly as skittish as her kind were. Maybe once they settled down they would be back to not being totally skittish. She moved finally, convinced the other was surely a Cerynei. Especially as the other moved closer. It had no horns, no manes, so it was surely one. She smiled at the other as she moved closer. "It's good to see another." She spoke since the other hadn't.
"I'm Kacdaninymila" She told the other. It was rude if you didn't introduce yourself. Or that was what Mila always thought. "You can call me Mila" She knew too well that her name was almost impossible to pronouce. Most of them said it wrong, but she didn't mind, She liked her nickname more anyways.

A smile spread across Faline’s face at he voice replied to her. She wasn’t spooked, thank goodness and she seemed friendly by her repsonse. It was like a small relief that allowed itself to flood over Faline’s body almost causing her to give a small shake like a shiver down her back. The light tanned doe gave a small paw at the earth before prancing gaily over to the other doe. She was a little overjoyed that she had meet someone like her, though she was sure the little prance was probably a little odd giving that she was an adult and probably made her look more like a small fawn then anything. Either way, she was a little happy to finally meet another doe from the forest.
Giving the doe another sweet smile she replied, “It is a pleasure to meet you Mila, my name is Faline,” giving her a small bow, “forgive my little prance, its just been a while since I have met another Cerynei.”
