It was a lovely night! It was cool, and just... So nice. Astrophel wanted to test his spirit form that night, but felt that finding a good place, hidden to try would be best, so with a beating of his wings he took off into the skies to look for such a place. His dark eyes peered around.. Seeing the fires of the two leggers. Oh, thats right... He wanted to stop by a teepee that belong to a herd of friends, but they were in another direction so maybe a little later would be good... If he could get his form down, it could make for some fun...
Finding a field that had no one in it, he walked himself onto the ground, his wings flexing out, and the fog at the ends of his hair gathered together finally. Not having been able to while he flew... "Good of a place then any..." He commented looking around. The moon was shining brightly on the clear night. Not to many of those these days.
With a snuff into the air he found himself distracted by the sound of a nearby river. With a twitch of his ears and a flick of the tail, he headed off toward the sound. He was very thirsty apparently. but as he did the other being in him stirred, and he twitched.. "Ahh.. go away." He grumbled. He wondered if the other would be able to take the form of the spirit as well... that was something that bothered him.

The night was beautiful again, as it had been the past nights. Unlike in her native land, the lands of the Soquili did not stay in a constant state of scorching heat. Even the desert where she had made her home was cool at nights. Often on nights like these she would wander, seeking nothing but company and conversation.
"Ouch." Pyre hissed, turning her head to see her singed back. Her tail had been burning her more often than not nowadays. Was it because her mind always slipped to him whenever she wasn't thinking of something else? She didn't deny it, but she was too embarrassed to admit it to herself. It was probably just a girlish crush anyways...
She hissed again, this time flicking her golden eyes upward at her burning mane that had clipped her ear. Not that you could really tell, since she was covered in soot all the time, and had a coal black coat underneath. It still didn't take away the pain though. She heard the mumbling of a river nearby, deciding that water would best heal her wounds. And she hadn't gotten the soot off herself in a while either...
"Mmm...agua." She whispered, stepping into a shallow part of the river, closing her eyes and enjoying the sensation of flowing water. When one is constantly burning, the cool water feels like paradise.

Not to far up the river, Astrophel had been drinking. Thats right, he remembered the dessert was to far off. He had never been here, seeing as in the day it was just to hot, and at night other creatures were about. Taking in the liquid, he raised his head, and his ears twitched hearing someone else near by. His eyes would open, and the darker orbs scanned the area. Going right over her at first, until he realized the flames.
"Ah..~" He gasped. What was... that? He couldn't see her, because herself blended in but the gold on her was slightly visible. He stared. "Is that a horse...?" the flames moved with her body, but not seeing them he was a little spooked. Taking a step back, trying to avoid what happened next.
His back hoof stepped onto a large stick and snapped it, causing him to shriek and dance himself into the river, a bit closer to her before he realized he was getting closer to the flames. Hos heart was throbbing. "Whats going on~" Shaking his head, it was turning into a strange night for sure!

"The hell?!" Pyre shrieked in response at the snapping and shrieking that wasn't too far from her. What in the name of the Gods was going on? Had a Skinwalker just brutally murdered some innocent mare? A Kalona snapping the head of a foal? Or one of those mutated horses that were carried on hushed voices? A sickeningly sweet potion of adrenaline and fear pumped into her brain, her heart pounding faster, muscles tightening, mane and tail roaring to the point of a bonfire. Her nerves were shut off by the adrenaline so the feeling of her head and rump being barbecued didn't reach her brain until later.
"QuiƩn es?" She demanded, hitting herself for letting her native tongue spill out just because she was afraid. She restated the command in this land's tongue. " Who's there?"

When he realized he was closer to her then planned. The voice slipped into his ears. First a strange language and then something he understood. So it was a horse after all. The bonfire was so bright he was able to see her completely for the first time. "You're a horse." He stated the obvious at this point. He wasn't to sure if sh was friendly or not, not tha he gave a much better impression with a girlish shriek like that. "I'm sorry... I startled you. I saw your flames, and I wasn't sure what they were so I was trying to back away and stepped on a stick..." He sighed, it was embarrassing yes.
"Doesn't that hurt?" He asked about the flames that were lapping at her skin. that must have been tough to live with it they did. You would have though to her, they were feel cool, or she might be able to control them. His large wings folded down and against his body.

Oh good, it was just an Angeni. Wait...just an Angeni? Weren't these supposed to be the most graceful creatures in the land, the holy ones? And he had frightened her, nearly causing her to burn something? An Angeni?
Another pop and flick of the embers, a dull pain on her leg. Watch it girl, at this rate, you'll burn the forest down. And this Angeni was sorry for it...it wasn't his fault the stupid stick was in the way.
She composed herself, putting a forgiving smile on her face and softening up her eyes. She shouldn't have thought ill of hm, what would her family have thought?
"Es no...oh, excuse me, I slipped into my old tongue. Its no problem, I shouldn't have been so frightened." She giggled at this statement after that. "Yes, I'm as horse as a horse can be."
This question again? She often wondered how many times she would be asked it in her life.
"Ah, so many people have asked. But no, the don't hurt, anymore. When I was a young filly they burned like the sun on a dry day, but no longer." She observed him, noticing the mist that circled around his feet and clung to his hair.
"Um, may I ask about your...mist, is it?"

He looked at her, so she spoke another language. That must mean she wasn't from the area originally. He tilted his head some and nodded at her, with a little bit of a chuckle. "Well I'm glad to hear you're all horse." It was true that the night could play some interesting tricks on the eyes. The Sound of the river caught his attention, as he looked down to see he was still in it. This actually only made the mist on his hair worse.
"Well I'm glad to hear it doesn't hurt anymore" Thought it was a strange thought to think of her as young, getting burnt, such torture. It was almost a shame, because she might not have been able to play or do certain things. Though now he wondered if it burnt others.
"Oh, yeah..." He looked down to the hair. "Well right now its getting worse because of the moisture in the water... But Ever since I became an adult I've had it. I think its because of what I am. But Its part of my hair... It's a bit moist, and a little chilly. Nice on hot days..."

Her golden eyes surveyed the Angeni before her more. He looked right in place, a heavy mist falling into the water from his hair, like a brilliantly white waterfall. She'd never seen an actual waterfall, but she had been told stories of them.
"So it came when you grew? Strange, I've never heard of that happening before. Then again, I haven;t heard of many things, such as other flaming horses." She blushed a bit at the last part, remembering Fenuk'. He was like her, he understood her.
She mentally slapped herself. Now wasn't the time to be thinking of her girlish crush. She was in the process of meeting someone new, someone different. She needed to focus on him.
It had been silent for a bit. "Excuse me, I tend to get lost in thought a lot. If I don't concentrate, these flames tend to get...dangerous." She apologized, dipping her head slightly.
"Wait...Un momento, one moment. What you are? You mean all Angeni have something like that?" She nodded towards the mist, then remembered something from her meeting with Fenuk'. "Umm...would you mind terribly if I felt your mist? I'd let you feel my fire in exchange."

He nodded at her some. "Well I don't know if all Angeni have it... I think I could have it because of my domain." It was true, as a foal he didn't have hair like this. He tilted his head at her, from the water. So she had to focus to keep the flames tamed? He blinked at her again and then smiled. "Sure you can. It might be a little chilly. Though I'm not to sure if ... I'd be able to touch your flames... you know that saying. Don't play with fire?" He laughed a bit. Though he did wonder if her flames would burn him. He tilted his head a little to her, and then moved near by and partly out of the water, getitng closer to her.

Not all Angeni had defining features then, only some? Even the heavenly spirits were such strange creatures to Pyre. Then again, she had no room to talk, as she was strange too.
She giggled at the joke Astrophel had made, glad to have found that holy creatures had a sense of humor too. Hopefully they all did, or she might face righteous fury after trying to joke with another of Atrophel's kind.
Watching his movements, she mimicked, positioning her body to where she would be able to n** at the mist in his mane and if he wanted, Astrophel could feel her flaming mane. She let her nose touch the mist first, then she breathed it in. It was cold, just as Astrophel and said it would be! But it was refreshing, and it smelt like the fresh waters of a spring.
She looked up at Astrophel, giving him an inviting smile."I don't think it burns others, unless I want it to. When I met another horse, the flames didn't burn him."

Astrophel stood still when she moved in toward the mist. He didn't want to spook her by suddenly moving. When she looked up he nodded some and leaned forward to move hos nose to the flames. He hoped he wasn't falling gullible to a joke, and he would burn him... As his nose touched the flame nothing happened. This was a wonderful surprise to him. He was glad it was like that for him. Though he still didn't like that the flames burnt her once on a while.
"I-it didn't burn me." He informed her, looking down at the mare. Though unlike her, he wasn't going to test the theory on trying to breath in the flames. It was nice meeting another that had some strange elemental thing going on with their body. As weird as that itself may be. Though he was curious as if this was something common she let Stallions do.
"By the way... My name is Astrophel." He figured since it seemed like they would be engaging in conversation that this was something important to get taken care of.

"I told you it wouldn't." Pyre giggled, looking up at Astrophel. "Me llamo, oh, so sorry, I'm Pyre. Final Pyre All Expired. Pero, Pyre will do." She snorted mentally at herself. Slipped up again, didn't want to confuse the poor guy, especially since he shared her experience of having an element as part of your body.
"So, um...not to be rude or anything, but this position is, how do you say, awkward?" She giggled nervously a bit, realizing that they hadn't moved yet. She took the first step, moving backwards and lifting her head up.
"So, Astrophel, is it? Would you mind if I called you Astro?"

"Pyre?" He liked the sound of the name. Then he blushed some at her next statement, and he backed off. He hadn't noticed really how close they were, or how that could have looked to others.
"Astro?" He tilted his head a little and thought. "Well I've never had a nick name before..." As he said that, his other half stirred. Almost to deny that statement and say that he did have a nickname."But I guess Astro isn't all that bad." He gave her a small smile. He wondered if this would be the start of a friendship, seeing as she was giving him a nick name.
"You keep talking in a different language, what is it?"

"Ah, bueno. Astro it is then." She giggled again, shaking her head as if she had hair to get out of her face. She was glad he had accepted the nickname that she gave him, maybe they could be friends? Or better yet, he could be part of la familia!
The family was quite small right now, consisting of her two 'brothers'; Van and Akuba. Another addition would be great!
"Oh, si, yes my native tongue. In my homeland we call is 'espanol', but I believe here it is called Spanish? I come from Mexico, you see. Although I've already begun to lose my accent." She sighed happily, remenescing of Mexico. "The beaches there, they are so beautiful, and the people are so kind. And they have such an abundance of precious stones and metals there, a horse could accessorize as much as she wanted."
She realized she was ranting, something she tended to do.
"Oh, forgive me. I tend to get excited when I talk about Mexico..."

"Oh, no no. It's quite alright!" He laughed a little watching her. He wished he could have that kind of memory like her. Of where he came from, a sense of who he was... He lacked it all. Not that it was a truely bad thing. But he would have liked to understand himself more. He wondered if she knew how lucky she was to have those memories.
"It sounds wonderful there." He commented to her, he looked around seeing that he was still on the water, and he made to move past her.. "Pardon me. I Just want to get out of the water." he laughed some. "So with beaches it was usually warm there?" He thought of a tropical paradise. He wondered if he'd get to see other parts of the world. He could go alone, but the idea of traveling with another was more appealing.
