It was time he got over the past. Dwelling on it wouldn't really solve anything. He sighed and decided he needed to get out more. Leaving his teepee, and everyone in it for now. He'd be back later, when he collected himself again. He took a deep breath and started to smile the first time after a few things had happened. He thought he could never get over them, well he really couldn't, but at least he was smiling again. The day was beautiful as any. Winter was going into spring.
It took him a few moments before he could fully get himself moving again. Seeing the beauty of the world again, had just happened to stun him in his spot. He smiled wider. The faster winter went, the faster it meant for spring to come. His favorite time of the year. He loved flowers, and spring brought flowers. He had some flowers in his mane and tail, but he wondered why they were always fresh and never died. What he didn't know, was that his two-legger put fresh ones in his mane every chance she got.
Mostly when he was sleeping. The trees seemed to have already started to get their leaves. He walked through the forest easy, and slow to admire the land he hadn't seen for so long. He'd sat in the teepee for so long, he seemed to have gained a bit more wait then he already had. So he wasn't just a massively huge soquili, he was also a little chubby. His icy blue eyes scanned the area for a chance to see anyone who might have wondered by as he walked. He thought it was time he got out and to meet others.

Glad to see that the snow was melting and the trees once more coming to life Toyla smiled. He rested just out side of the teepee he shared with his two-legger, and from time to time his father. Looking up at the sky he was glad to see the sun. It was here to help melt the snow away and bring the warmth of summer to the lands. He knew his two-legger was happy about the close arrival of the warm season.
Glancing back at the teepee he decided it was time for him to talk his walk. It was something he liked to do daily if he could. Raising to his hooves he shook himself, letting out a huff of air before he started through the forest. As he moved through the trees he noted that the ones that seemed to dye as the winter chill had rolled in where coming back to life. Tiny leaves and shots emerging from the branches. In some small area’s where the snow had lot since melted away there was fresh green shots of grass. Spring was an interesting time of rebirth, and he liked it. He couldn’t wait for the rains to come.
Stopping to rub his side against one of the trees Tolya’s ears swiveled at a sound near by. It echoed and bounced off the tree trunks so he couldn’t tell exactly where it came from but it was near by, the sound of hove steps, the sound of another Soq walking the forest. He grinned a little, perhaps it was one of his friends. Taking a step away from the tree his looked about but the other still was not in him view. “Hello?” Maybe they would hear him and come closer.

Cualtzin, without seeing the other, almost ran into him as he stepped out from the tree. A reaction, he jumped to the side to get out of the way with a startled look. When he actually got over the shock of almost running into the other, he laughed. He couldn't help it. He always was so careless sometimes. It just seemed funny to him. He smiled a apologetic smile to the other before any words came out of his mouth. "I'm sorry! I didn't see you there!" His voice was a bit too loud, for that's how it always was when he first started to talk with anyone knew. He got to excited.
He shuffled is front two hooves, as he stood there. It was another habit of his when he met new horses. "Hello there! I hope I didn't scare you! I totally didn't see you there!" He started on. He didn't want the other to get mad at him for his carelessness. The other was a mixture of cold and warm colors. Almost as if he was water, with the suns reflection bouncing off of it. "I'm Cualtzin!" He said with inclining his head to the other. He was always polite, even if the other was mean. Hell, most the time he didn't know if the other was mean to him at all.
Cualtzin saw only good, even if he met a Kalona, he'd probably die from trying to become their friend. Sometimes, others would find him too friendly and would think he was annoying. Though, he'd never know it. Not even if they said it to his face. He'd think that they were just having a bad day, and everything would be better some other time. Cualtzin noticed the other's mame. Some bits were long, and others weren't. It was actually quite nice to see. "I have to say, your mane is just awesome, how do you get it like that?" Cualtzins was just curly, and his two-legger could never really do anything with it. Probably why she stuck flowers in it, other then the fact that he loved them. He always went picking flowers with her when he could get away with it. He never knew why she picked flowers. But they were for his hair as she replaced flowers every few nights.

Toyla took a few steps back at the other male startled him. He looked the darker horse up and down, an apologetic smile on his face as well. “No need to apologize, I should have taken better care as to my surroundings. Just a little startled.” He again gave the other a looked over. He was a mix of blacks and white mostly but in amongst the white and black strands to curly hair there where some reds a purples. Tolya even thought he could see a spot or two of yellow. Flowers adored the stallions mane and tail, an arrowhead hung around his neck and a bandage dressed his left front ankle.
Raising his blood red eyes to meet Cualtzin’s icy blue ones Toyla nodded a little and bowed his head. “I’m Toyla, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” Turning his neck a little he tried to see his own mane better. “I’m not really sure how my two-legged gets it like this. She likes to play with it a lot and letting her do so is kinda nice. Calming sometimes. I don’t care how it looks as long as it’s not under my hooves.” Turning back once more the the darker male Tolya smiled at the others excited energy. He seemed upbeat and lighthearted. A gentle type of Soq, which one points in Tolya’s books right away.

In Cualtzin's world, there was no evil. If he had his way, everyone would be just like him, or maybe a little different. He wasn't sure if he'd like too many others like him. "Well, it's very nice to meet you Tolya!" He said with a gentle smile. "and that's awesome. My hair is too curly for my two-legger to do anything with it."
He wasn't jealous of the other's hair. He was just admiring it. He never knew how other's got their hair so long. His hair never seemed to want to grow. Though that was just fine with him. How he was, he was sure he'd trip over his own mane and tail. It made him chuckle a little.
