Though the idea has been passed up many times in the past, I was at first attempting to apply to Role-Play an NPC/Canon Character, Ichigo. Jan had brought up a good point, if we integrated these characters into our guild it stands a good chance that all future plots will be altered a great deal.
But before I get into details about how these characters would change the guild, the most important aspect about this thread in particular is the fact that applying for one of these characters... well... doesn't exist. Sure people have tried in the past, but before they could get any where a guild crew member or vice-captain would shoot them down simply saying that it cannot be done here in our guild.
HOw ever, the guild rules state that it can be done if a guild Vice-Captain or the guild owner approves of it. Instead of going directly to the only four people trusted to keep this guild whole, this application should instead, be voted upon as a whole (and within a set time period); meaning that any guild members with a rank of at least Crew votes on the application.
Here is my proposal for how the application period should go for the NPC/Canon character application. There would be three steps:
FIRST - A person must do as much research on the character as possible, being able to cite all of their resources, all of which must be reliable and trusted. (BleachWiki for example) but it would be unquestionable if the citation where from the episodes or manga itself. Here they will need to apply within the Character Profiles thread within the main forum of our guild.
SECOND - At least three different Crew Member or any higher ranking members of our guild must judge and/or critique the profile as a whole; making sure that it flows smoothly and has been completely re-worded from where ever they retrieved their sources.
THIRD(last) - If the profile is acceptable they must make their own profile flow smoothly with our own story line here in the guild, but just as importantly their profile must flow with the already created NPC/CANON characters. If this last portion fits well enough, and the three judges accept this last section of the application the person may RP the character.
So far this is what I have came up with, I'm open to ideas or even different forms on how to get NPC/Canon character integrated into the guild smoothly.
By doing this, I am also applying to RP Ichigo.

Physical Description:
By far Ichigo stands out from the common Asian male, with an extremely athletically toned body and his seemingly bleached Asian hair makes him stand out like a sore thumb. His eyes are the common hazel brown, but that is easily the only common aspect about this young man. Hidden within him lurks a demon hollow, that radiates a powerful energy constantly; this trait makes him easily detectable by those that are spiritually inept. Though his face is normally masked behind an angry scowl, his personality is nothing compared to his physical appearance.
When “not in uniform” he cloths himself with normal high school attire, wearing the basic high school uniform or a simple t-shirt with a pair of jeans and sneakers; it’s suggested because of his hair that he attempts to blend in as much as possible because of his unnatural hair color.
Unlike many of his class mates, he carries himself as though he doesn’t have a care in the world, and has stated several times that he doesn’t care much what others think about him. Knowing anything about him would prove his statement wrong completely. However, his physical appearance is as normal as any other Japanese high school student.
Zanpacto:
SHIKAI -
Zangetsu (Moon Cutter) – His sword is always within it’s Shikai state (2nd Release) meaning that once he understood the name of his weapon it never reversed to its sealed state. It’s hinted to that his weapon is unable to seal itself away because of its power combined with its wielder; which easily trumps nearly both shinigami and arrancar alike.
The blade looks like a more curved and elegant cleaver, having more of a sleek katana look to it. The blade is as tall as he is reaching nearly six feet long, from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. Half of the blade is silver while the rest of the blade is black which resembles many of the Arrancar’s blades. Zengetsu is easily handled with one hand, proving Ichigo’s physical strength, combined with his raw strength, behind each slice is the powerful attack of his overwhelming rietsu.
The spirit of the sword looks like a thirty to forty year old man, and stand extremely tall. Shrouded in black robes with a white collar peaking out from the neck of his robes with the final touch of long flowing black hair and tinted sun glasses give’s his spirit a slightly mysterious and powerful appearance. His voice his deep and strong and from time to time he has been known to challenge Ichigo in un-usual ways. Having a cool tempered and intelligent persona make’s Zengetsu an inspiration upon Ichigo’s fighting style; always pushing him to be all that he can be and nothing less.
Unfortunately Ichigo was forced to become Shinigami when he was near death, by taking part in the training process and forcing his spirit to “die” a hollowfication process took place creating an inner hollow which shares the same spirit body as Old Man Zangetsu. Whichever spirit is stronger at the time determines which spirit is revealed. On most occasions’ the nameless hollow is the dominant spirit claiming that it will one day become the king of Ichigo’s body.
The special attack in this form is his Getsuga Tensho (Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer), which fires a crescent moon shaped blast that is made up of concentrated energy that works like an extension of his blade, it works much similar as if he were to throw the blade of his sword at his opponent. This attack can be slashed through the air to send a piercing shock wave, or through the ground that is able to cancel out most attacks that run through the shock wave…
BANKAI -
Tensa Zangetsu (Heavenly Chain Moon Cutter)
Though Ichigo’s Bankai is extremely effective as any other form of Bankai; his does not create a dramatically different effect due to a different change that occurs. Instead, his large cleaver shaped sword shrinks to what appears to be a Japanese Long Sword (Daito) keeping the same color pattern his hand guard changes into the shape of the Manji (meaning “full”), and the cloth covering the hilt is black. On the end of the hilt is a black chain that ends with a broken link that resembles a plus.
His uniform also changes that to resemble Zengetsu, a long flowing black trench coat with a dark red inner lining makes him appear taller and more disciplined…
As the young man performs Bankai several different effects takes place; first his spiritual pressure is condensed into a more solidified form making any attack have an extra kick to it, enabling him to easily deflect most “weaker” attacks with his bare hands. To put it into numbers, his strength, speed, and durability is nearly tripled; but because it is condensed he is able to remain in release for a longer period of time. When he first achieved Bankai his bones cracked because of how much his spiritual pressure was being condensed. Though with more training and discipline this draw back was overcome…
Bankai Special Ability – Kuroi Getsuga (Black Moon Fang), drawing upon the inner hollow’s power he can perform a devastating slash attack that works much like his Getsuga Tensho it is also tripled in power and has the same elemental properties as a Cero but with the added effect of the piercing spiritual energy behind the attack.
Inner Hollow / Vizard:
Though his shinigami power is overwhelming by itself Ichigo packs even more power within his soul when he had successfully harnessed the power of his inner hollow using the Hollofication process that he and other’s trained and harnessed together. Before he was able to harness this taboo ability he was paralyzed on several accounts attempting to keep the inner hollow in check which was ineffective due to his lack of knowledge about the hollow itself. Though he tamed the inner hollow before the extent of his power could be released, the hollow within proved that it had nearly instant regeneration, body shaping, in-comprehendible strength, shape shifting, and being able to fire a cero from just the tips of his fingers.
After completely mastering the control over his inner hollow, his already tripled abilities are then easily doubled giving him an even greater advantage over his opponents. When he activates his Vizard abilities by pulling and forming a mask over his face a list of added attributes alongside added raw strength, Ichigo’s combat style shifts from his training to instinct, making his movements more fluid and natural, and he also shows signs of showing less interest in worrying about sustaining injuries making him a full out offensive fighter. Aside from his fighting technique is a layer of shielding that is added by the applied mask, making his flesh seemingly covered in a hollow’s natural body armor (Hiero). Lastly his Vizard attribute add to his Getsuga Tensho, also doubling that in power, strength and speed. Proving to be able to kill a foe with one strike…
Special Accessories:
Modified Soul (Kaizo Konpaku) –
Brief Bio: Kaizo Konpaku, or named Kon by Ichigo, this plush toy is actually a mod soul, placed within a toy to make sure he cannot make too much trouble for Ichigo, though at times the plushy finds himself way over his head when getting involved in any situation and creates more of a hassle for Ichigo and friends. To put it bluntly, he is the comedic relief in any situation with his bold and perverted sense of humor or interests. Saved accidentally, this Mod soul possesses extremely powerful legs, being able to kick off from the ground and jump and land safely over long distances…

Overall Fighting Ability -
Though he has had little official training in the Shinigami disciplines, he can easily fight a captain one on one in a battle without using his added Vizard ability. Alongside his ability to fight toe to toe with any captain he can move just as quickly as the fastest captains using Shunpo. In past fights he was easily able to defeat three vice-captain ranked character with his bare hands when they had activated their Shikai release…
Growth Rate -
What makes him stand apart from most shinigami warrior at his level is his ability to learn and absorb the techniques that are taught to him, proof of this was his ability to learn his Bankai within a two day period when for most it takes years of training.
Intellect –
Though he easily resembles a punk, Ichigo is extremely analytical, perceptive, calculating, and deductive. Easily finding a counter attack for every attack placed upon him, to either completely defeat the attack or at least effectively block it. With the added benefit from his growth rate, he quickly learns the techniques of his opponents and if it were not for so many unknowns, many fights Ichigo has taken place in would be over fairly quickly…
Determination –
Even in the most disappointing situation Ichigo has seemingly always pulled through with an iron will. Being able to prove to all of his opponents that he is extremely determined and bull headed. What astonishes most people when watching Ichigo is that he seems to have an endless supply of hidden energy, despite what they see he is just as mortal as any other Shinigami, but his determination is un-natural; always driving him forward to victory.
Enhanced Strength –
Even within his mortal flesh he is extremely strong; when in his spirit body he was able to break a Zanpakuto with a single punch with his bare fist and defeated three Vice-captain shinigami in a row one right after the other. This strength and disciplined comes from his Dojo training where he is even a better fighter than the second strongest girl in Japan.
Enhanced Durability –
On many occasions he was able to sustain injuries that would easily put any other Shinigami out of a fight or even kill them. In one instance he was easily able to withstand a Cero and appear as though he were completely uninfected…
Immense Spiritual Energy –
Commented on many captain classed characters, Ichigo has by far the most spiritual pressure for a person of his class of Shinigami, surpassing that of even most Captain’s. Unfortunately because of this attribute he is unable to mask his Rietsu (sprit energy) from any spiritually aware individuals, even summoning unwanted attention at times… Time and time again Ichigo has drawn upon this source of energy to continue fighting, and in some cases this attribute alone was the only trait that kept him from defeat.
Swordsman Ship Specialist –
Simply because of his master over flash step he is able to keep up in a pure swordfight against even the best swordsman in Soul Society, though he isn’t the most advanced warrior, alone he can defend his own, but given his other attributes he is no person to doubt when facing in combat.
Flash Step Master –
Again, there was no official training, but the fastest woman known in Soul Society, Yoruichi Shihoin, trained him herself. Giving him the edge on most other Flash Step warriors…
Substitue Shinigami Status –
Though he has no real rank amongst the Shinigami class warriors, he is accepted by Soul Society as a well-trusted ally. Though he is considered a Shinigami, he is treated more as an outside ally where he can receive orders from Soul Society and work on his own personal agendas. Because of his action’s it is speculated that Soul Society trusts him enough with his responsibilities as a Shinigami and the protector of the human world to let him do as he pleases (most times.)
Pure Blood Shinigami –
His father, Isshin is a full blood Shinigami; even though he lost his powers several years ago…
Personality:
Though his exterior personality is “scary”, Ichigo is actually extremely caring and understanding; and once he fully understands the other side of the story he becomes extremely understanding and forgiving. Loyal and honest to the core, Ichigo would easily give his life to save a friend or loved one. As the big brother within his family he acts the same way with his friends; making sure that those he is in charge of stay in line, and those that follow him are also loosely his guides as well. Though in dire situation’s his word goes without question because he thinks clearly (arguable) even when his anger gets the best of him. Though he is short tempered and driven, he has a heart of gold, and only wants the best for those he is with; to be short, Ichigo is not selfish and self centered. On several accounts he is able to sway the opinions of even his greatest foes…

Despite his rough past where he lost his mother, the one thing in his life he truly and honestly looked up to, Ichigo has made several successful leaps despite his dreadful past that would drag many people back. Time in, and time out, he has had to battle his past and his enemies have used this weakness to nearly defeat him in battle, but what most underestimates is his driven personality. Like any other person he has had to defeat his enemies, and inner demons. With the help of friends and family Ichigo has become a very successful individual. Drawing upon the knowledge of his past he even has been given a few chances to teach those what he has learned…

Without any real official training, it is surprising that Ichigo can keep up with the level of warriors that he does. Fighting even some of the strongest character of Soul Society and defeating them in combat…

Role-Play Example:
Captain Daven Moto  The shifting and flowing of the reiatsu was like reading a book to Daven. He knew what was happening and he was trying to fix it, but there were other problems as well. He wanted to help Toshiro, but he knew that it was going to be a case where he had too many irons in the fire. Kurai was in trouble, but Daven couldn't do any thing about it. So while his attention was focussed on Triox, he yelled orders. "Kurai, get Toshiro out of here back to Earth. If you can't do that, SNAP OUT OF IT. Get the hell out of here! Retreat!" Daven blocked several strikes by Triox, he took a couple others in various parts of his body, all of them minor strikes. I didn't want to jump to the End Game yet, but it looks like I have no choice.He shunpoed to a location that Triox would Sonido to, and he started a dance to trap Triox in such a way that he could be on top of him. Each chance he had, he blocked a punch, tried to punch at him, stepped in the path of a Cero fired by others, letting his reido cancel it out. Finally he managed to jump to a location where Triox jumped to microseconds later. He was close and it was time. He fired a point blank Reido blast at Triox, equivalent to the Grand Rey Cero that the Espadas could do. It flashed out of his left hand, enveloped Triox, blasted around him and hit the other Espada in the area and blasted Toshiro out of his Vizard state. Daven jumped to the opposite side of the battle area, and fired another one almost simultaneously, trapping everyone in the blast range again, hitting everyone from two sides. He was tired, but he had to keep the pressure up. There were too many people in danger or who needed to die. He knew that the shinigami would be okay, that Shiboo would be more than fine, and that those who had hollow energy would be really messed up right about now. He hoped that this attack would be enough to take most of the hollows down, so he didn't have to go to his bankai release in this state. He didn't want to destroy all of Las Noches.   Ichigo was way out of the loop, the attacks on Soul Society where driven back as if nothing had happened, and now he found himself requested to join the attack on Las Noches to rescue captured shinigami. Though he was hesitant to perform such an act out his line of dute, those in Soul Society relied on him more than he even could behind to imagine. It didn’t take him much time to debate his choices as Kon pointed out the facts ever so clearly to him, easily, but as always the small stuffed animal broke through his hard exterior and told him all of the horrible things the Arrancar might be doing to the Shinigami. With a huff of anger he stole the pill out of the toy and into his mouth. Reluctantly Kon agreed to stay behind and act “cool.” Using the same portal he had before to enter Heuco Mundo, he went through Urahara’s shop, expectantly the man let him in. Within nothing more than a nod of good luck from the all too familure group Ichigo set off into the darkness of the hollow safeguard.
Just as soon as his foot escaped the darkness and onto the soft white sand of Heuco Mundo Ichigo sat off at great speeds towards Las Noches. Using the Soul Phone he was temporarily given to use for this current objective. It wasn’t like him to venture off on these sorts of missions by himself but reluctantly he accepted these missions as a personal challenge for himself.
It took nearly two days before he reached the walls of Las Noches; surprisingly there were no interruptions on the way to the hole that was already made by shinigami. Before entering the make shift entrance he let his spiritual pressure echo into the empty halls of the Labyrinth, warning whomever inside to let him through without question. To be sure, he activated Bankai and took his leave and into the entrance.
As he blurred through the halls he fond himself at the same place at least three times before luckily finding the exit. Another four days had passed but his determination had driven him to find the kidnappers. His curiousity was also getting the best of him, he hadn’t been able to meet this new Captain Daven Moto, or any of the new captains of Soul Society. Ever since the change it was like they didn’t need him any more… It suited him just fine, he was able to get through yet another year of school and even get closer to some of his friends and family by being able to spend his free time with them.
As he darted from the exit of the Labyrinth or whatever it was he just stepped out he quickly glanced over the situation, but as he began to let what was happening sink he quickly realized that this new and strange attack leaving his shock to be pushed aside for latter. Oh yeah, Ichigo had questions!
As he quickly stepped out of the way of the attack he quickly realized that Daven was attacking yet again from another angle, he was going to bath the rest of the shinigami in his wrath. He quickly realized that the situation was dire, and he didn’t want to see a dozen shinigami destroyed simply for a few espada. Activating his inner hollow he growled as he blurred from spot, his reverberating voice echoing from behind his mask as his pushed his own aura against Daven’s.
Reappearing in front of the small group Ichigo sliced the energy around them and protecting those that were in the fight. Looking up to Daven he growled up to him, ”OI! The hell you doing up there!? Trying to get all of your soldiers killed by your hands!?” Blurring from spot he re-appeared just in front of the man and nodded to him, ”Sorry I’m late…” Turning back to the group of hollows he faced his attention at Ishi, ”Worry about the Esapda, I’ll get your shinigami out of Las Noches safely.” Blurring from spot he re-appeared just above her swinging his blade in a wide arc to cleave her direction down the middle...
