Harmony was wandering around the area, humming a tune to herself when she say the light reflect off something and moved closer, wondering what the object was. As she moved closer, she realized that behind the berry bush was a pair of wings, similar in design to hers and she wondered if it was another creature similar to herself. She had not run into another Taestysia in a long time and could never remember meeting another Thasai. She crept around the bush, still humming to herself, wanting to get a closer look at the possible Thasai before he or she fled or at least left the area.

(( Sorry about the picture ... I always do this at the beginning of a RP )) It was the humming that woke Blayze from his slumber. Someone close by was seemingly rude enough to disturb his afternoon siesta and he was not pleased with the intrusion. All he wanted to do was laze about in the sun and this hummer had to stroll along. Peering out from eyes still half-closed a set of wings greeted his vision and soon enough the thought registered that they were just like his.
Guess I can't let this opportunity pass by.
Huffing gently Blayze rose to his feet and stretched. His wings fluttered softly before he allowed himself to gaze in silence at the vision before him. This was a strange sight indeed. Sunlight streamed along the female's wings and highlighted them with a brilliant blue hue. Glints of light winked at him from the jewelry this female wore and his gaze drifted along before ending at the train of ribbon along her paws. Sitting back to take everything Blayze stiffened his own wings out to the side before allowing them to relax. A smile was directed at the female before he spoke.
"Good afternoon. Who might I have the honor of addressing?"

Harmony jumped back in surprise as the other Thasai spoke to her but she walked back to stand before him. When she finally registered his question, she smiled at him before saying, "My name is Harmony, well suited as I love songs and music. What, my I ask, is your name then? And are you really another Thasai? I have not met one before besides my parents and I really do not remember them all that well so in essense you are the first that I have encountered." Her voice was soft and as musical as her humming had been.
Harmony took this chance to examine the other creature closely. By his voice and appearance, she could tell he was definately male. His coloring was quite different than her dark blue fur and wings. He stood proud with a light greenish hue with hitns of orange and white, and he had a white chest, but she noticed his wings sparkled almost as much as hers did in the afternoon sun. He was quite handsome and a blush stole across Harmony's cheek as she thought this.

Blayze pondered for a moment. How much was he willing to tell this seemingly trusting femme. His tail danced against the ground as he thought in silence before he returned his attention to Harmony. It was hard to discern ... but was she blushing? He chuckled softly at that. Well ... this could be real interesting.
"My name, Miss Harmony, is Blayze. It is very nice to meet you. To answer your question: I believe I am really a Thasai. These wings are as real as yours are. Might I inquire as to how you came to stumble upon my resting place? I am not mad ... just idly curious."
Blayze cocked his head at an angle to wait out a response and gave Harmony another look-over. He hid his emotions well but there was an part of him that was interested in this new female. He also had never seen another Thasai before and he was astounded to know that he was not the only one. Growing up alone from birth had been hard. At least Harmony had known her parents.

Harmony thought for a moment before answering his question. "I am not sure how I got here to be honest, was just walking around when something caught the sunlight. I was curious as to what it was so I went to the source of light and what do I find them to be, but your wings. Was not sneaking about or anything, just curious. Especially as I have never seen wings like mine before and yours are so similar. I do apologize for waking you up though. It was not my intention."
Harmony lay down and settled into a comfortable position in the grassy area as she looked up at him with a smile. She had been walking all day and was tired so it was a good time to rest and she could hold a conversation at the same time. She wondered what Blayze was doing in this area as she had never met another here before.

"No harm done Harmony. I usually like to rest in the afternoon and the sun streaming along one's back is such a relaxing feeling. I think I was merely surprised is all."
Blayze tracked her movement as she shifted to a more comfortable position before he eyed his wings. It was the first time that someone had ever stumbled across him by sighting them. It was very uncomfortable to have them lie flat along his back when he slept which is why he left them in their raised state. Perhaps he'd need to find better coverage next time. He returned his gaze to Harmony as she smiled. A shiver went through him as he realized what the smile might mean. He shook that thought away for the meantime. It was no use dwelling on what might be.
"Harmony, are you alone in your travels?"

Harmony watched Blayze closely and for some reason she got the feeling that he was uncomfortable about something but she could not figure out what. Did her presense disturb him or bother him? Was she causing problems for him or hindering him from doing as he wanted? But his next question erased all those thoughts from her mind as she looked at him confused.
Harmony began, "I have always been alone. My parents died when I was but a child so grew up by myself. Who else would I be with? I never knew another Taestysia really and this is the first time I have ever met another Thasai. So I guess the answer is an easy yes, I am alone."

Blayze looked down at his paws as Harmony spoke about being alone. He knew what it must have been like growing up and fending for oneself. Although he couldn't imagine the pain that Harmony had gone through with losing her family. In the quiet that followed after this new piece of knowledge Blayze decided to take a risk. It had been a long time since he'd shown kindness to another Tae ... and it would probably not be the last.
Positioning himself just a little bit closer to Harmony Blayze swished his tail back and forth before letting it fall on Harmony's side. He obviously felt bad for possibly bringing up painful memories.
"Forgive me if I've made you uncomfortable Harmony. I did not wish this upon you. You see ... I too have known the burden of being alone."

Harmony gave Blayze a small smile as she felt his tail move about her. "You have not made me uncomfortable so I have no reason to forgive you for. And it is what I know so it can't be too hard and too much of a burden though it does get lonely from time to time. Which is why meeting others is a blessing and curiosity for me. Besides it is not like you haven't suffered either."
Harmony wondered why this all but complete stranger was worried about her but it made her kind of happy and produced a warm feeling within her emotions. She blushed again and looked at the bush, embarrassed at her show of emotions. She hoped that her dark fur would hide the blush as it had seemed to do earlier.

"I see and I also agree with your conclusion Harmony. I haven't suffered."
Sometimes Blayze was one hold back with how he really felt. He was intrigued at how the blush had reappeared with Harmony's words. For now he was stuck with unraveling the mystery that was this new femme. Relaxing for the moment he allowed room for himself to lie down next to Harmony. His tail swished back and forth before he returned it to lie next to his side ... the side farthest away from her.
Choosing his next words carefully Blayze looked into Harmony's eyes before sighing.
"So ... how did you come to these lands?"

Harmony shifted to give him more room. He still seemed a bit uncomfortable with her and she found that it was annoying yet endearing at the same time and she wondered why she bothered him. She hoped that she was not annoying him and that he wished her away. She kind of like his company and the thought of leaving made her sad.
Harmony smiled at the question. "I travel. With no one to stay with, I have found that I liked to explore new world's and new places. I came into this particular area yesterday and found that I really enjoyed the scenery so thought to stay a while. It is nice being able to make your own decisions."
