I'm reading it for a private book club.

It was banned, for quite obvious reasons - the explicit sex and use of the C-word kinda grabs you throughout the entire book. It's quite extraordinary how it can be so 1960s when it was written back in the 19..20's, I think?

But what's really amusing is that the C-word is put all over as a GOOD thing. It's never used as a slur or a shame - but as something complimentary.

Has anyone read this? Lawrence isn't the best story writer, but he's definitely on to something related to marriage, love, and relationships.
