I usually think they're lame.
Not a fan of Sweeney Todd.
But this one wasn't half bad.

Haven't seen very many, I liked Across the universe if that counts as a musical.
And Sweeny Todd was ******** HORRIBLE.

It was too... goth... for me. Ehh.
My favorite musical is Jesus Christ Superstar, but that's partly because I played the music for that one at school and it was SUPERFUN. heart

Futon-Revolutionist It was too... goth... for me. Ehh. My favorite musical is Jesus Christ Superstar, but that's partly because I played the music for that one at school and it was SUPERFUN. heart I ******** love JCS. I've seen clips of Repo, but not the whole movie. I'm working on getting it.

I loved Repo! but I'm a general fan of musicals and rock operas anyway.
...I'm still extremely disturbed by how sexy I find Luigi. I know I shouldn't. sweatdrop Ufu.
My favorite musical is actually another rock opera--the Who's Quadrophenia. Most people point to Tommy as being their masterpiece, but it's my opinion that their masterpiece is Quadrophenia.

So I watched Repo.
I thought it was terrible.
But it looked, the visual style, was amazing. The lyrics sucked so much a** - and thats important in a musical.
