A moon had passed, and Dios was finally starting to show signs of improvement. His movements were still slow, but he was able to walk on his own. He still depended heavily on Nyuni for everything, but his personality was starting to show. Or, really, it wasn't. It was apparent that though he wasn't horribly fond of the red lioness fawning all over him, he didn't have the heart to tell her otherwise. So instead he was being a good sport, and it was paying off in the way of real steps towards a strong self again.

He sought out the Nyuni's brother, Jicho, in hopes of being able to talk to him one on one. While they had visited together, Nyuni had always been there, and Dios was wary of exactly what he told the black lion to avoid hurting Nyuni's feelings. She was a sweetheart, but sometimes one could be too much of something.

Jicho's surprise when he saw Dios coming towards him wasn't the most guarded. Instead, he looked slightly relieved. "Dios, please rest," he said, inviting the lion to recline next to him in the shade of a dry bush. "How are you doing today?"

His pale silver eyes scanned the form of the lion, but he didn't see anything wrong. There was still an uneasiness there, but the strength was starting to return. Slim features were beginning to flesh out, the hint of returning muscles. Thankfully Nyuni had been taking her job seriously, and the young male had finally begun to recover. There was no need to worry about the chance of him relapsing into any sort of fever and perishing.

"You are looking much better than the last time I saw you."

Dios winced slightly. "Well, that's because I'm not with Nyuni today." He chuckled. "I know she's your sister, but she's driving me nuts. She means well, but she just won't leave me alone." Covering his face with his hands, he buried his face near the ground, playfull groaning. "I don't know what it is! She's so helpful, but she's boarding on the way of being too helpful. I feel like I can't do a single thing without her here, and it's really starting to get to me. Is there any way that you think you can say something to her to get her to....just leave me alone for a bit?"

"Oh man, Dios," the lion laughed. "You are in way too deep. And you didn't even try to get in this, either." His laughed settled down and he began to grow more serious. "She has fallen in love with you, Dios. Now, before you really put up a fight, you should know that she's hopefully just going through a phase. She swears that it's 'meant to be', but knowing how girls are, she's just excited to meet a male that's outside of the ones she sees every day."

Oh, man, Nyuni, what did you get yourself into? The poor boy seemed horribly confused, and on more levels than just the obvious one. A girl interested in you was something that was obviously new to the lion, lost memory or not.

"R-really?" He didn't think it was because of that, but then the thought never actually crossed his mind. All of this felt so new to him, including the fact that he couldn't recall ever feeling like this before. He looked around, just making sure that she wasn't lingering. It was one of the few times where she actually granted his wish, and let him spend somet ime alone. Surely because he could be spending time with her brother and not with anyone else in the pride. "What do you think I should do? I'm worried about everything...I'm not sure if I feel the same way."

"I mean....how do you love someone when you don't know anything about them? What's her point of thinking right now?"

Jicho chuckled. "Remember when she stared at you blankly when you first met? She claims that that was when she decided that you two were meant to be. Odd, since I assumed she just tripped over you and decided right then and there that the world stopped for you two." Oops, maybe he was having a little too much fun with this. Time to tone it down a little.

"But back on track, I'm surprised since you did exchange some words before you both looked at each other."

"Oh. Well, I surely didn't sound like I do now, that's for sure," he snorted. "I was a lot worse. Weird, though. N-not in a bad way," he said quickly, trying to backtrack. "I'm just unsure as what to do with this situation. What do I do if I start to feel like she does? What should I do if I don't?" In this point in time, he didn't think he would. She was sweet, and he did like being around her, but it almost felt like she just moved around him. That level of commitment when he couldn't remember anything before the last moon frightened him. It seemed...wrong.

"Don't worry about it right now," Jicho said easily with a wave of his paw. "Love is something that might take a while to hit. I'm quite interested in Siri, if you've seen her around, but I wouldn't say it was anything like Nyuni. She's the kind of girl that takes everything to the extreme, as long as it's positive. Her heart is in the right place, but her attemps are a little out of the ordinary. Don't let her scare you. While I don't know if you'll ever really feel anything, just take it easy. If she becomes too much, let me know. Even some sort of signal. I can put her in her place." He laughed again. "I am not insulted if you make a comment about her. She gets herself into all of this."

Dios sighed. "Well, I hope that I don't have to worry about it. Thanks, though. I don't know what I'd do if she was alone and she found me. I think I'd be chained to a cave or something!" The thought made him shiver, and Jicho laugh. "I'm serious!" His eyes opened just slightly wide, looking directly at Jicho. "I'm just scared that she's going to put me into a situation that I'm stuck in. I don't mind it here, I just wish that it felt like I had more of a choice with all of this." He ruffled the ground below his paws, focusing on it instead of what his thoughts were. "Oh well. I guess I shouldn't listen to myself when I'm so worried about everything."

Jicho nodded. "Seriously. Just let it go. The future is something that no one can guess on, even the seers that are blessed with the power to do so. The future always changes, and you can't keep guessing, or you'll never stop. She'll be there for you, whether you decide to stay there with her or not." Sadly. Hopefully she'll learn that she can make everything what she wants. Being sheltered from what life was really like hadn't helped, and Dios' memory loss made it seem all the more possible that she would get what she wanted.

He almost wished he had the talent to see what she would do, but then he dismissed that thought. Jerking his head, he sighed.

"Hmm?" It was odd for Jicho to suddenly seem upset over something. "Did I say something wrong here?" He didn't know if he had said something rude. The culture here almost seemed normal, but he still wasn't sure what 'normal' really was. He could be living completely different than he had before his accident.

"No, no you didn't. I'm just thinking about Nyuni, and what she could possibly be up to. You know that she doesn't think everything through. I hope she doesn't get impulsive."

"Oh." Well, that was something obvious. "I hope not either. I'd hate to make her upset over something I did, what with how helpful she is."

"Dude, don't. She'll totally take advantage of that if she notices. Not maliciously, but she'll do it without even thinking about it." Jicho shook his head, his mane shifting around his shoulders as he shook it so much.

"She's more complicated than she puts on." Dios snorted. "I thought she was simple as could be, but obviously there's more here that I need to pay attention to. Thanks."

Jicho laughed. "No worries. I'd hate for the two of you to get into some serious trouble. Our father will watch over her too, so as long as you keep yourself where you are now, you'll be good."

Dios cracked a grin. "Thanks. I'm depending on you too much. I guess I should go back before she comes looking for me, and interrupts us. Especially with that little bounce in her step."

Jicho settled down now, noting something he didn't want to mention. "Makes sense. Come visit me again when you can get some free time. I'm sure I can make some time for you if I'm preoccupied. Just be careful that she doesn't fall completely in love with you, unless you're completely sure that's what you want." There was a warning in his tone, but he didn't know how seriously it would be taken. Dios didn't seem to have a complete grasp on the situation, but Jicho could hardly lay all the blame on him for it.

Dios nodded. "Definately. Thanks again, see you later." With that, the lion hobbled up on his feet, swaying a bit before making his way to where Nyuni was certainly waiting for him, probably ready to give him something to eat. It was still a little tough to walk, but at least she made it easier to get better. Now if he could only really remember anything about his past.

Jicho watched the lion leave, feeling a twinge of worry. Dios was starting to sway underneath her, but there was still doubt within him. Jicho hoped that he wouldn't have to worry too much about them. If Dios started to show some real interest in Nyuni, she'd probably jump on that, and he'd be stuck with her. Oh well. Why was he worrying so much? It was definately what she wanted, and he really didn't have anywhere else to go. He just wished that it was moving smoother and more...normal than what it was doing.
