It had been a while since last coming to Shikami Mall. Nash had avoided it like the plague only going in to grab a bite to eat and leaving promptly after. It just so happened today was one of those rare occassions that he had forgotten his strike. For lack of anything to do and his need to purchase something he ventured forward. Eyes peeled for any sign of mall girls he really didn't want to be bothered with the strange girls, they... spooked him, made him nervous perhaps? He just didn't understand the females of his species or any species for that matter.
So here he was hands in pocket walking throughout the mall doing a little window shopping as he stopped at each store. Ever so often he would go inside but quickly exit when he didn't find much to his liking.
The book store seemed to hold more of the items he was looking for. Hopefully a book on languages, he wanted to get better at picking up unique and exotic sounds that many languages seemed to have in common. The one thing he learned was that all language had a universal connection somewhere it was a matter of figuring it out and applying it where necessary.
But how was he suppose to do that, he wondered? With a sigh he smiled to himself when his stomach gave a familiar protest. "Alright." He breathed heading for the food courts where he would indulge himself. And if ever a word were underestimated it was this, his usual order of two bugers with everything, two strawberry milkshakes, and a large order of fries with ranch and BBQ sauce; the happiest of smiles crept along the chubby face of the pumpkin headed youth. He didn't waste much time finding a seat and biting into his hamburger with a happy grin.

Scyeth seemed to be showing up at the mall more and more often, and the youth was entirely sure why that was. Though when he really considered it, he couldn't think of much else to do. He already worked out everyday with Cane, and RuiZhi did like to study during the day. While daytime usually meant outside time for the Australian, the island's winter was quickly squashing his need for daily sunshine. The cold was going to kill him.
Yes, that was probably why he kept fleeing to the mall. Try to go outside, need a place to warm up instead.
...and what did we have here?
His lips curled into a Cheshire grin and Scyeth quickly stalked across the food court when he noticed a familiar patch of red hair. Oh, oh, he did have multiple milkshakes! Cackling happily to himself (and blissfully unaware of how creepy that might be), the demon swooped in and snatched the milkshake, settling himself across from Nash as he slurped happily.
"Strawberry today, huh?"

And just as he had began to enjoy his meal one of his milkshakes had gone missing from his line of sight. Looking up from his shaggy tresses he gave a snort of disapproval to the familiar blue eyed boy. "You always steal my milkshakes." He pointed the obvious but wasn't upset. Maybe he'd gotten used to ordering enough for himself and one more in case the "demon" of milkshakes popped up.
With another satisfied sample of his hamburger he wiped his mouth and sat back giving a soft grin. "Hello again." He offered looking around then back at the familiar boy. A shy smile etched his features as he hid his nervousness behind a straw, sucking lightly upon his shake. "What brings you here?"

"Of course I do. You don't really need two. Brain freeze, duh." Scyeth flashed Nash a toothy grin, making himself comfortable across from the younger student. "I'm practically doing you a favor. Saving you from the indecency of suffering a defeat at the hands of a frozen dairy treat." He took another sip of the milkshake and sighed, most satisfied with his prize. You know, it wouldn't be so bad being a pirate. Stealing other people's things. Shame those fellows were all wiped out.
"Eh, not much. It's bloody cold out there. I hate the cold," the Australian complained. "It never got cold where I came from. Okay, well, it did, but that was still mild compared to this bullshit." Scyeth turned his eyes onto the redhead. "What about you? Aside from the obvious, of course." A pause. "And I see you have new uniform?"

Nash grinned wide at the mention of his uniform. He was quite proud of himself having made it into his school of choice. Though he wouldn't see much of the older youth where he was going it was still nice to preen and show himself off... well this one time at least. Scyeth in some degree was like an older brother who liked to tease the pumpkin head youth. Nash didn't quite mind it so much now that they were on regular speaking terms (at least he hoped so). "I've finished my qualifications. I'm now a student of Magic." His cheeks puffed up along with his chest gutting out proudly. "I actually made it." That was a lot considering he had previously wanted to quit and go home.
