What do you think the best class is, not the best in PvP, or PvE, the best class in both. Also label the talent, and race.

I think enhance tauren shamans are the best if you know how to use them.

Hmm....honestly, I couldn't say what the "best" class could be since I haven't played them all yet. My main is a warrior and those things are definitely a force to be reckoned with. In PvP, human warriors are one of the best since, with Berserker Rage, they have a fear/sap/incap breaker with a 30 second cooldown (which can be reduced with points in the right talent) not to mention they also have the "pvp trinket" racial.

in PvE, I would say Draenei warriors are better as warriors because of their racial aura with the 1% hit increase. I'd kill to have that aura permanently on my warr (whom is human). They also have a racial healing ability which is excellent while soloing.

'The best' is kind of a stupid thing to ask people to label, as what it comes down to is personal preference and playstyle.
For instance Bacchant said 'paladins.' I think playing a paladin is like watching paint dry; but of course to each their own.

I prefer prot warriors, and I think female tauren look the coolest. I enjoy not taking damage and having a modest dps output when soloing/farming, as well as being wanted for groups/raids. There is also a certain kind of challenge that comes with tanking (keeping 5 things off of 3k+ aoe dps is interesting) that appeals to me.

imo, pallies tear up the battlefield no problem, just have to know how to gear, spec, and socket them, know what buttons to mash and your good to go biggrin

pft, he never said best class to play. Just best class.

Ive never really played a pala before in my life so for all I know they could be like... the most dull class to play ever. My reasoning is done via arena team ladders.

2v2... 15 out of the top 20 teams have a pala in them.
3v3... 18 out of the top 20 teams have a pala in them (1 of them has 2 palas in it)
5v5... 18 out of the top 20 teams have a pala. (again 1 team has 2)

I dont think its coincidence that so many of the more successful teams have palas.

Addressing a "best class" in PVE is more difficult as many of the classes have been dumbed down to fill the same roles, which makes all classes quite useful.

Best class to play is a different issue all together ;p and is one I couldnt answer because Ive only played a few classes in my time. I would have a hard time believing that anyone here has played every class in every spec to its full potential in order to have an understanding of which is actually the best in that respect.

ALL CLASSES HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BE "THE BEST" BUT AS STATED BEFORE IT'S ALL UP TO YOU AND HOW GOOD YOU ARE PLAYING,

CUZ YOU COULD HAVE TWO EXACT TOONS WITH THE SAME PROFS, BUT ONE PERSON MIGHT BE BETTER THEN THE NEXT MAKING THAT THE BEST CLASS FOR THAT ONE PARTICULAR PERSON,

I LOVE ROGUES, BUT I CANT SAY THERE THE BEST CUZ THEY ONLY HAVE ONE JOB, DPS DPS DPS 3nodding

HYBRIDS ARE PROLLY WHERE IT'S AT IMO xp

I gotta say I love my shaman at the moment. Next to my DK, I love being able to have chain heal and two other good heals.

Hunters actually have a drop on Druids. They're counted as beasts after they shapeshift.

ROFLMAO! Of course everyone would pick the class that 'they' play because on their perspective, the reason why they play that character/class is because it is the best for them. 3nodding

Well, I might as well put my input since I'm on here anyway.

I LOVE ROGUES.

Don't have one but I love them. Specially if they're undead. (Oh, so hot!) I've seen some players pull some crazy a** s**t on their rogues. (I watch alot of pvp vids online and I have a few favs.)

Now if asked which class I love to play, I'd have to say locks. She's been with me for a while now and when I get on that toon, she fits to me like a glove. I once tried destro (w/ a bit of demo in there) and she damaged like crazy.... but it ended up not good since I keep pulling ago when I was on a raid. (Even though I waited awhile before attacking) So, I went back to afflic but I might switch again. 3nodding

IMO:

Huntards / Warlocks for leveling

Palas / D.K. 's for PvP

As for raiding and such, It is sort of relative since each class plays a different role.

Agreed, can't really do a successful raid without heals or lacking dps or with no tank xd
