What was it with her dad? He was acting as though she was much older and was getting married or some stupid crap like that. He was really, really feminine to be calling himself a guy; but, then again, so was Adriel, and he was definitely male. Adhara felt her face go dark red after that thought, and she buried her face in the mattress that she was currently laying on, making sure not to completely roll onto her stomach.
She was starting to show even more everyday; somehow, she bet that if she just watched her stomach, she would be able to see it growing. That was a... bizarre thought. She leaned up from the mattress once her face had gone back to its normal colour and looked up at her dad with a bit of a frown on her face. "This one's too firm. I like the softer ones a lot better," she commented, pressing one of her hands into the spring mattress. That was right, they were shopping for a new bed. What this had to do with her pregnancy, she wasn't sure, but it was really getting annoying. Stupid Noah...

Evelyn had managed to talk her mother into going to the mall again. Allete frowned as she was forced to tag along and get new clothes. This was boring. She let out a yawn, then blinked. Wait, where had Ala gone to? When she asked her mother, Allete learned that her older sister got to go wander the mall alone.
"Can I go too?" She asked, earning a judging gaze from her mother.
"Why?" Allete shrugged in response. Niki sighed. "Just... meet back at the mall entrance in an hour, okay?"
Allete nodded and rushed off, leaving her mother to think that another trip to the cell phone store was in order. Her kids were all growing up too fast...
The spawn child wandered for a bit before finding... heaven! It was a store filled with mattresses and people were lying down on some of them. Oh, she was loving this store! She slipped in and wandered over to a mattress and flopped onto it. Ah... bliss.

Adhara stretched herself and her wings, before digging a Luna Bar out of that now-always-with-her backpack before she jumped off the bed she'd been sitting on and glanced around, just in time to catch sight of an interesting-looking girl who looked... well, like one of those who'd come from the Facility. She chuckled a bit when the other flopped onto a mattress, taking a bite out of her bar of oats and other things, before walking over.
She knelt down a bit, resting her hands on her thighs and making sure she was eye-level with the girl who appeared about her same age. "'Lo there," she said kindly, chuckling a bit and glad that she'd found a distraction from her crazy father and his need to buy her random things. "What brings you in here on this fine day."

Allete peered at this girl who'd come up to her curiously. She had purple arm things... where did she remember those from? But better than that, she had wings! "Oooh, I like your wings." Allete grinned and propped her head up on her arm. They were feathery like two of her own, but with white feathers. How neat!
"Hmm? Oh... just testing the beds." She had to stifle a yawn. "Shopping is tiring..."

Adhara smiled brightly at the compliment to her wings, fluffing them up and spreading a bit, before giggling. She gestured to the other girl's wings as well. "I like your wings, too! You've got a lot of them," she said in awe, peeking over the other girl to get a peek at the rather wide... variety of wings that she had. She chuckled a bit at the girl's tiredness.
"Wull, I guess so. I kinda like it, though; 'cause I was told that I'm supposed to stay off my feet which gets reeeaaally boring when I'm at home. So I actually have something to do when I go shopping now, even if my crazy dad wants me to shop for mattresses and baby clothes," she rambled, before blinking abruptly and giving a sheepish chuckle, outstretching a hand for the shaking as Niita inspected the other girl curiously, though without a whole lot of interest, oddly enough. "Almost forgot- My name's Adhara. Who're you?"

Allete grinned and flexed her wings a bit as they got complimented. "Thanks." She rather liked her wings, all of them. Plus she thought it was cool that they were different. Not many had four wings and she was the only she'd met where they weren't all the same.
"I wish I was told to rest a lot... Would make my mom stop trying to get me to go play..." She grinned and shifted her weight to sit up and shake the other girl's hand. "I'm Allete." She glanced at the purple appendage that was snaking its way forward. She giggled and reached down to touch it. "Neat."

Adhara nodded happily in response. "You're welcome~ I've never actually seen anybody who has four wings like that; it's really, really cool," she said cheerily. Apparently she'd been lacking in social contact lately, as she was really, really happy to be around this girl at the moment. She hadn't been around many people lately, and it was driving her absolutely insane being stuck with Noah all day long. Sure, he was her dad, but he was not that great.
"It's really not that great, I promise," she said, chuckling softly to herself. "Vampy also said that I have to eat constantly, and I've been really sick recently, too. It's annoying." She grumbled a bit, shaking her head and letting one finger draw nonsense designs on her slowly growing stomach. "Nice to meet you, Allete," she said happily, shaking the girl's hand easily. She laughed a bit as Niita gratefully accepted the affection, nuzzling against Allete's hand, Reena sneaking away from Adhara's side to tap against the girl's cheek softly. "And this is Reena and Niita. They're happy to meet you, too, it seems."

Allete grinned. "I got them from my mom. Well, my real mom... not the one I live with..." She shrugged, figuring this girl was probably from the same place she was and would understand that.
The girl frowned. "Ah..." She wasn't a big eater... and being sick was not fun at all! She giggled at the two tentacles. "Reena and Niita?" They had names? How... odd. As she stared at the two, a fuzzy memory came back of a boy with things like this... and a rather odd tug-of-war... That had been a long time ago, though.

Adhara chuckled a little bit, almost uncomfortably, at the mention of 'real mom's. In all honesty, her own real mother... really scared her. At least, the one that she'd met now. She smiled no less, gesturing to her tentacles. "I got these two from my mother- well, my demonic one. The only one I've met as of now, actually. I haven't met my angel mother yet... what about you? Have you met both your parents?" she asked curiously, perking up at her own slight twist on the topic that made it so she wouldn't have to think of J'her for the moment.
"Yup! My friend Wynni named them when I met her at the eye doctor's. She named Adriel's tentacles, too, a while ago," she said with a smile and brief nod of her head. She was quite glad for the conversation after a whole lot of nothing. And Allete was actually really nice!

Allete nodded, finding it interesting that this girl had two mothers. "I've got a daddy and a mommy. My daddy was... boring. He sleeps a lot. My mom was... nice." The girl patted the bed next to where she was sitting, an invitation for Adhara to join her on the comfy bed.
"Wynni?" That name rang a bell. "Huh... maybe I should name my wings..." She glanced over her shoulder at them with a grin.

When the seat was offered, Adhara took it graciously, chuckling at the idea of Allete's dad sleeping a lot. "My foster father sleeps a lot, too, though maybe not as much as your's," she giggled a bit. "Or maybe so; what are your sin and virtue?" she asked. Oddly enough, she wouldn't normally ask that about anyone, but this girl had really pretty wings and... well, everything else as well, but Adhara wasn't about to voice that aloud. Happy with the closer proximity, Niita continued snuggling against Allete's hand, Reena settling back down on Adhara's lap sleepily.
"That would be cool," Adhara commented with a smile, looking back at Allete's wings. "Do you have any ideas for names?" she asked, before blinking to herself a couple times. That had sounded just a little strange, maybe. She outstretched one of her hands to pet one of the golden wings with a soft smile, fluffing up her own wings. "My wings don't have names," she commented, fluffing them up slightly. "I guess because they don't really have their own personalities, unlike Reena and Niita do."

Allete chuckled. "I doubt it. My dad doesn't do much BUT sleep. He hardly even eats. He didn't know what video games were, either." She frowned a bit at that memory. "Sloth and Chasity," she answered, glancing back to the other girl. "What are yours?"
The girl pondered for a moment before shrugging. "I don't know..." She'd never really had to think of names for anything before. Due to the number of imps and mini dragons at home, pets were out of the question as far as her mother was concerned. She glanced down at the tentacle. "It has a personality?" That had to be odd.
She noticed the girl's movement towards her wings and stretched them out.

Adhi smiled a bit, amused at the thought of someone who did nothing but sleep- what kind of a life would that be? She glanced over when the other girl told her what her sin and virtue were and nodded a bit, smiling. "I'm Diligence and Lust," she commented, pausing a moment, before giggling into her hand, smiling over at the other. "We're complete opposites, huh?" she asked, entertaining the fact that two girls with opposing sins and virtues would actually get along as well as the two of them seems to be doing.
She chuckled a bit as Niita snuggled into Allete's hand, smiling up at the other girl. "Yep, they both do. Niita, this one-" she gestured toward the tentacle who was making himself at home all cozied up against her hand "Is more friendly and outgoing and tends to get me in trouble a lot. And Reena, the other one, is more protective and isn't usually that affectionate with other people unless she gets to know them well enough," she explained, petting Reena softly, who seemed to look up before settling back down on her stomach contentedly.

Diligence and Lust, huh? She'd never really heard of either of them. Not that surprising since Allete didn't know any of the other sins and virtues other than her own. "We are?" Allete thought on that for a moment. "Huh."
"Oh." She grinned a bit as the tentacle in her hand seemed happy to be there. "I see..." Yeah, that had to be very odd. She couldn't imagine what it would be like if her wings all started doing weird things. And she had four of them... that would be strange.

Adhara smiled and nodded a few times. "Yeah. That's what some of the stuff I've found on the internet says. Chastity is the lack of, like, sexual desire and stuff before marriage, usually, and Lust is the opposite, with an overpowering sexual desire. And... Sloth was depression and sadness and stuff, but now it's considered laziness, while Diligence is the need to do stuff all the time," she explained. She definitely knew about her Diligence side, that was for sure. And sitting on this bed was starting to drive her absolutely batty.
Adhara nodded a bit, Niita wriggling around a little bit, as though that would somehow encourage the girl to give him more pets.
