@ Karu: Well, I won't censor someone if they post a link to an explicit song. I, myself, hate censored music. That's why I probably won't include that. I'll probably say something along the lines of: "Please try and keep the explicit music to a minimum, but I won't censor you if you feel the need to post one". That way it's telling them to try and keep it clean for the most part but they are allowed to post one if they feel the need to share a good song with other people. :3
EDIT: What about Gaming Galaxy though?
I think what Karu was trying to say, is not to censor them, but to request that they put something along the lines of "Explicit Content" in their post to warn other members in the instance that they are sharing something on the vulgar side. This is just as a common courtesy to others reading the thread that may not be wanting to click and here "f*** YOU piece of %#!& and so on.
As far as Gaming Galaxy goes, there's not many rules out of the standard that's needed. Perhaps something along the line of, please announce spoilers as "
SPOILER ALERT! and either "hide" or put the content in white text for those who still wish to read the thread and not have critical moments ruined. Don't bad mouth others' opinions and taste in games.
For an intro, perhaps suggest they (or start these threads off)
1)create threads to chat about your favorite games
2)write a game review
3)need help or advice on a game? start a thread and ask
4)share your gaming tips and secrets (got any good tricks? let's share them)
5)let's talk platforms: past, present and our hopes for the future
(what do you love, hate or hope to see?)
6)Emulators! (do you play any? where's the best place to get them?)
7)Platform trouble? Maybe we can help
