Are you a fan of the artistic world? Do you have images or literature littering your hardrive which have struck you as exceptionally breathtaking? Feel free to share them here, only be certain to credit the original owner if at all possible and tell us why they struck you as so fascinating.

I myself have many images so I hope to post regularly about an image and give a detailed analysis about what it means to me.

This is an image by a friend at Sheezy Art which was recently featured that I fell in love with when I first saw it. The model is a male who has such a sense of confidence and a carefree attitude about what he sees as beauty, we could all take a page from his book and really be confident in who we are.

I can't help but think of a million stories about how that doll got into the water and why the mermaid has such a cross look. By janaschi of Deviant Art.

Men at Arms by wraithdt is an amazing work done entirely in photoshop and really captures a realistic portrait of a watchman. The armor is well rendered and the lighting absolutly superb. A real testament to what patience and photoshop can do.

The details and textures in this piece all fit so perfectly together, this is real fantasy art on the same level as Frank Frazzeta and the other greats. By Keun_chul of Deviant Art.

A beautiful piece of fanart that broke me of my little bias against fanart. This rendering of Lilith reminds me of an oil portrait and that hand is spectacular. By Erina of Deviant Art.

God, I have too many. BUT, my favourite digital artist of all time would have to be Linda Bergkvist aka Enayla.

A CLOSE-UP (the full picture is to big to post) of her work 'Spoiled':

I adore Spoiled, I just have a hard time really enjoying her work anymore since she has been caught more than one time painting over photographs....

Actually, I thought that was just suspicion of painting over, not actual proof proof. (I have a feeling that the finger was pointed by some jealous individuals with too much time on their hands but to cast their eyes on an artist that was rather famous.) Though, if you can point out tangible proof from more than one painting she's done, I'll gladly concede. Either way, she's still an amazing artist. : ) And her mask work is superb.

Her costume is amazing, this is a stock resource image by mizzd_stock on Deviant Art. Excellent steam-punk feel.

These are od Dawn, Michael Joseph Linsner's comic character. The first two are done in colored pencil believe it or not, amazing huh? The last is alcohol marker, colored pencil, and acrylic on velum Bristol board. Really amazing traditional work.
