D e t a i l s & R u l e s < 3
Alright, so this contest runs a wee bit differently. I had a co-owner for Sonic, but he left gaia. THUS, I am looking for a new roleplaying partner for the pair. Here is the low-down.
- Sonic and Amy are a couple, and will not be broken up! They will only be mating with each other. This contest is not for you if you decide you want them to split, as the co-ownership agreement will be nulled.
- I am comfortable playing both characters, so the winner and the character they chose to rp will be the one co-owned, the other will remain mine.
-This contest is open to everyone, wether you have zero or fifty soquili. I just want someone who will rp my babies and give them love! (And dusting)
-At least know the rundown of the characters Sonic and Amy, and try to rp them as they act! (I don't mind slight differences, IE Sonic more non-jerkish, or Amy more sophisticated, but I did get them because I do like their characters!)
-Since character isn't a big difference in this contest, I will be looking at rp style and creative-ness. <3

Alright, choose only one prompt (since it would be too hard for me to chose between two if everyone did it!) to respond to; this in turn will be the soq you want to co-own with me and you'll be roleplaying!
You can use made up, or your own existing soquili for encounters. Length doesn't matter to me and will not be a judging point.

Lets face it, its been a long day but a good one. Running through these open fields in this new land is so much more refreshing than the city streets. Getting on that boat was the best idea and the worst (god you hate water!) to get away from a certain someone. However, you can't help but wonder if your biggest fan Amy will find you...since putting distance between you two hadn't stopped her before. What is it about her that keeps you on the run, and constantly thinking about her? There are also so many new kinds of Soquili in these lands, does your arrogance keep you from making friends with them....or does your curiosity compel you to introduce yourself?

A soft whistle came out from a certain Hedgesoquili's mouth, a content grin over his tan muzzle. "Man, this is nice." Resting with his side leaned against the sturdy trunk of a lone tree, Sonic gave a shake of his head in his excitement, spiked mane barely shifting out of place at the movement. Who wouldn't be hyped up about being in a new place? There were lands to roam, new people to meet, things to explore.. Giving a shuffle of his hooves, he took off once again in a burst, energy built up from his oh so wonderful cruise on the boat from the city to this new land finally wanting to be let out. Ick. Water and being pent up? Not for him at all. "Whoo!" He cried out with a laugh as he galloped through the vast field he had been making his way around, taking delight at being able to stretch his legs once again after his previous ordeal. Amy would have loved taggi-.. Flicking his quilled tail as he came to a slow halt, he let a confused and intrigued look go over his face.
Why was he worrying about her when he had been trying to get away from her all this time? She always went on and on about the two of them being 'fated lovers' and 'destined to be together'. Bah! Going on through and actually hanging around with her would take a while, and he was impatient when it came to slow things. Very impatient. After all, he was Sonic the Hedgehog, was he not? "Aw no! I almost forgot about her!" Ears perking up and eyes widening just a bit, he whipped his head around, looking about for any sign of the familiar pink colored female. She couldn't have possibly followed him out here all this way, could she?
The mere thought of that Amy Rose lurking around the area made him flick his ears back. "Knowing her, she's definitely around." Oh, that Amy.. With that said, he gave a sigh and a shake of his head in light disdain before starting off in a sprint towards the woods. Why not make it a little game?

She let out a long breath, a smile slowly returning as the horrid journey was put behind her. On shaky legs she moved forwards, trying to pick up his trail again, hunting around for anyone who might have seen the blue stallion as he left the dock. She'd find him again; it was what she did after all. They were meant to be together, despite his take on the situation.
The thoughts comforted her as she trotted along in his wake, moving away from the dock area herself, having had some luck in finding and speaking to a Soquili who had seen Sonic leave the boat, she had a general direction in which to move, and was feeling better all the time, which enabled her to move along even faster.
As Amy ran she practised what she would say to him when she caught up with him again and made him listen. She'd say to him that her determination showed her heart, that she loved him for who he was - and if he let her in, she would never cause him pain, nor try to change him. All she wanted was to be by his side, and if she had to run across the whole world to do so, then that was what she would do. She was drawn from her thoughts by a certain familiar scent on the wind...he had been this way. She grinned and flicked her short tail; the chase was truly on again, and with a joyful stamp of her hooves cantered after the trail.

He was always so busy, saving the world and again and again; he even saved her on various occasions, whenever she gets into trouble... Which seem to happen often. That was what she liked so much about him! He was always there for his friends, and will never abandon them. She looked up a little as the boat stopped, smiling at the sight of dry, solid land. That was when she saw it - a flash of blue zipping down from the deck! The flash of blue stopped briefly after landing, but quickly moved on again, heading inland.
"Oh no, Sonic! Wait!"
Amy yelled in vain, for Sonic was long gone. Taking a deep breathe, she claimed up on all fours, her seasickness suddenly gone. Trotting, she leapt down from the boat onto dry land, eyes darting around as she searched the horizon for any signs of Sonic. Sighing, she stomped the ground, sending little dust clouds into the air, "Ohhh! That Sonic! He left me behind again! Wait till I find him!"
The female started on a canter before developing into a full gallop, following after where she saw Sonic dash off to, determined as ever to find him... Who knows? He might come for her if she needs his help; he wouldn't be able to resist if anything happens! The mare smiled, increasing her pace.
After all, she is his girlfriend!

"Finally..." Sonic grumbled as he got off the boat. He popped his neck, stretched and then took off at full speed across the new land he was in. God it felt good to get off that thing, not being able to run while on the boat was really starting to cramp him. He was finally free. He closed his eyes as he continued to run top speed across the land imagining himself only short of flying. But while he continued his run, his thoughts drifted to Amy, as it did so many times before on the boat. God she was annoying as hell.... and he was glad to be rid of her. Yet, being this far away never stopped her before from finding him.... he opened his eyes, slowing down to a stop. But.... maybe he wanted to be found....he shook his head quickly, he, the fastest stallion in the world, want to be found? HA! He continued on but at a steady gallop. He ignored his thoughts about Amy and went back to looking at the new world around him. It seemed nice, and peaceful enough. A good place to settle down. He shook his head again, there he goes again, thinking about Amy. "Even if I ran forever, she'd still find me, even if I buried myself, she'd find me. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME?!!" He roared picking up speed going faster than he had before. But Amy's image continued to flash within his mind. He turned his direction and started toward the forest line he could see and crashed through the underbrush. He finally slowed down and then stopped near a stream where he drank, his ears listening all around him. He then looked up and around, expecting to see Amy pop up. He sighed and walked through the forest racing the other side, where he found others like himself, yet not like himself. More than he'd ever seen in a major city or anywhere else for that matter. 'Maybe if I befriend them, they'd hide me from Amy...' He thought. He looked behind him then back towards the others. "It's worth a shot" he said and trotted toward them.

"Man ... about time!" A single hoof slammed to the ground as a blue figure emerged from the boat. Head tensed up, spikey hair drifting in the breeze, he trotted out, taking in all the surrounding area. It was new, calm, and beautiful. Much different that what he was used to. In fact, it was a little disappointing. There was no action. No loud noises, bright lights, and smoke filled skies. On the plus side, there was plenty of room to run! He shook his head, then trotted at a much faster pace. It was calm, soothing to him. To be able to just run free. He could run off anything on his mind.
"Ah, this is sweet. Might need a little action stirred up, but for now I can have a look around." He stopped, noticing something in the far distance. It was one of his kind, on the far horizon. He was not alone. "Huh .. maybe it won't be hard to find some fun." He still had to wonder, were the natives friendly? Were they in trouble. OH! Did they need help? He paused his thought again, head tilting. "Aw man .. I'm the one needing help." Sighing, he tapped a hoof irritably, then began to run again. As fast as he could possibly run. Sure, he liked being able to move around but it was her. SHE was the reason he fled to the farthest, most unheard place he could find. He would escape her, that annoying Amy Rose! "Still, I bet she would follow me to the ends of the earth, I'd better not let my guard down."
He fidgeted, noticing the rouge Soquili already far gone. His mind wandered back to heart moths drifting around, Amy stalking him constantly. If she could hold one, he betted she would knocked him with a hammer by now to tie him up. She was relentless! And ugh, to dare call herself his girlfriend. He was tied to no one, able to whistle at any chick he wanted. ... Right? "... Why is it that despite the fact she is helpless, annoying, and clingy that for some reason... I'm wondering if she is ok? Man.." Perhaps it was his inability to ever want someone to suffer that allowed him to worry. Surely if she followed him here she could fall overboard or something. It surely could not be that he cared for her romantically, that would be silly.
"So uncool, even when she isn't here she manages to get to me. I mean, she can't be here. Even she isn't that obsessed over me. ... I think." Saying that he frowned, knowing he couldn't believe those words. "I need a breather. I need some action. Hey, I know. I'll go find that Soquili I saw earlier. Maybe they know where I can find a chili dog around here! That's all I need, a good lunch. And maybe then I can have a real vacation."
And with that, he fled. Perhaps not knowing the disappointment he would find about lunch, or his stalker, but optimistic as always. After all, how could she already be there? It wasn't a problem to him, not yet. He could push, pull, or drag her away but she would come back. And as always he would run. Not without saving her along the way. Perhaps he does need a hammer to the head, a little kick to slow down and consider why he runs from even her.

First off, I just wanted to thank everyone for entering; I wish I had enough Soquili to give away to everyone! I actually had a hard time judging; so I got the help from a friend of mine and we narrowed it down to two - then one.
I will keep everyone in mind so when I do aquire some more soq; I can hopefully share them ^^
