Piperit: *out with one of his books, content with being alone*
Yuu: *Walks out yawning. Blinks as she looks around*
Piperit: *continues to read, glad to have his books back*
Yuu: *Smirks when she spots Piperit. Jogs over to him and plops down next to him* Yoh Piper!
Piperit: *looks up from his book* Must you be so loud?
Yuu: Yep *Grins* Comes with being obnoxious
Piperit: *gives a sarcastic smile* Is there a reason you always bug me?
Yuu: Yep
Piperit: *looks at her expectantly, waiting for the reason*
Yuu: *Raises a brow* I'm not gonna tell yah
Piperit: So you do have a reason....but you're not going to tell me?
Yuu: Yep *Grins cheekily*
Piperit: I find that to be terribly cruel you know...*looks back at his book for a moment then back at Yuu* Did you want your books back? I finished the other one.
Yuu: Oh? *Loses her grin and tilts her head* What one?
Piperit: That Stardust one? I preferred the Golden Compass but that one wasn't too bad.
Yuu: *Nods in agreement* I love Golden Compass, and the rest of the trilogy
Piperit: I think you mentioned it being part of a trilogy before...I'll have to read the other two some time then.
Yuu: I have the other two if you want to borrow them
Piperit: You're quite the library...*thinks on this* Well it would be a shame to not continue on with the series. So sure.
Yuu: *Snorts* Don't let my stunning good looks and charming personality fool you, I own hundreds off books. Romance, fantasy, mystery, horror, etc. You name a genre, I have it *Thinks* How's this, next time you're around, you bring back the books I lent you. And I'll bring the next two books in the series.
Piperit: *smirks* Sounds fine to me... *thinks for a moment, staring blankly at his book* Perhaps I could see your collection some time? Mine's rather small, not much room to keep many books, and full of older literature. Works of Poe, the Brothers Grim, Shakespeare and such
Yuu: *Shrugs* Sure *Taps her claws on the ground* I've never really been able to get into old stuff, not sure why
Piperit: But the old stuff is where it's good! The tragedy, the horror, the gruesome violence kept out of modern society....*give an evil look*
Yuu: I prefer it when I have to think about what might happen next in the story, instead of trying to figure out the meaning of some word. Or what some guy just said.
Piperit: Oh. So it's the language you don't understand. Most of it's simple really...And Shakespeare's work is the only stuff that ever gives me any real trouble. You can't not like the works of the Grim Brothers or Poe though. They were geniuses of their times...Morbid geniuses, but geniuses none the less
Yuu: I've heard of the Brothers Grimm, never read any of their stories though
Piperit: They're excellent. They wrote the stories Disney destroyed...Like Cinderella? Her sisters get their eyes pecked out by doves.
Yuu: *Ears perk* I remember hearing about that story. I could never find it though, so I thought it was made up..
Piperit: It's quite real. And all of those other dumed-down faerietales are just as violent. It's quite nice. If you'd like I could lend you my Brothers Grim Book. It's their complete collection, hardcover. One of my personal favorites.
Yuu: Hmm...how about I borrow it after I finish up the book I'm reading now?
Piperit: *shrugs* Whenever's fine.
Yuu: So, what book are yah reading now?
Piperit: I'm re-reading this one. Dr Franklin's Island.
Yuu: What's it about?
Piperit: This girls's on a trip to Ecuador, and she's not the most social girl. Anyway, her plane crashes and her along with another girl and a rather snot of a boy end up the only survivors on this "deserted" island. They find a small town and are kidnapped by an old man named Doctor Franklin who turns them into animals. It's a good book, rather creepy, and very descriptive in some parts.
